How old is Joy?

I just finished replaying CAR and the endgame cutscene says that “23 years ago someone hid the jewels in the carousel horse (Glory)”. Does that mean it was Joy’s mom or someone else more recently than when Joy’s mom died (when Joy was four years old)? It seems plausible, if Mrs. Trent knew how bad her husband Daryl was with money and investments. Maybe she hid them there so that her daughter would have some money for her future, knowing Daryl would make financial mistakes. If it was Mrs. Trent, that makes Joy approximately 27 by my math, since her mom died when she was 4. I assume she had her own separate from her husband’s bank account to be able to afford to buy her young daughter a likely expensive carousel horse as a birthday present. Joy doesn’t look like she is nearing 30, though she is likely to have a little arrested development (which doesn’t necessarily change ones physical appearance) with her mom dying when she was 4 and seemingly not having gone to therapy about it and admitting to not having good social skills and coming to work, doing her work and going home. She says she couldn’t even describe what the other staff at the park (during the events of the game) look like. I wonder how she did the interview process (though she does say that she thinks that Paula hired her out of pity) to become the amusement park’s bookkeeper? Maybe over the phone?

I think what I love the most about Trent and Colin is that, before this, they barely knew each other, their relationship was the same as Trent’s with the rest of the team, they have never had a single personal interaction, and still, the feeling of absolute relief after finding someone like you is still there, these men probably have never had a conversation about their personal lives with each other and here they are sharing the most precious secrets they have because they know they can trust each other
