Hello! This is Jay, and I've decided to make a separate blog for my fan proseka unit, Kawaakari Orchestra of KWKO for short. The reason for this is mostly my brain demanding for organisation, but also the reaction to them was incredible and I definitely want to talk about them more.

Please note that this blog will sometimes post content touching on or discussing several potentially upsetting or triggering topics, including the following:

How can I interact with this blog?

- I will answer any asks to the best of my ability, unless the question is an explicit spoiler that will be answered later in the story!

- You can also submit an ask directed to a character (using their assigned emoji), and they will also answer to the best of their ability; however, you have to keep in mind that they would perceive you as a fan/viewer and can avoid your question or answer dishonestly.

- You can also send me your assumptions/theories/otherwise thoughts on plot development or future events; however, those will not be answered. You can specify if you want them posted or not and if yes I will answer with ✨ to say that I see and appreciate your thoughts but am unable to answer in a meaningful way due to inherently spoiler-y nature of the interaction.

Oh no that's totally okay, in fact I completely encourage that! It's a nice idea and I love when people do stuff like this, go ahead please! I'm not the one who's started doing stuff like that either to my awareness haha

I lied I'm actually so glad I can gush about them-

Contrary to popular belief, Reishi is not my favourite out of kwko. I do, however, think about him a lot, and I feel like I have him figured out the most. I PERCEIVE HIM. He's not my main traumadoll but I he is scarily close and every day he gets closer. I almost wish he didn't exist but he's so fun I can't possibly say that-

Funnily enough, even though I'm also very attached to Karin, I'm attached to her in a very different way in contrast to the other characters. We have a bond (she wouldn't notice me in a bare white room where only I stand) and I used to have a whole page dedicated to her shrine in my notebook. I want to pet Akari, I want to pat Reishi on the head and hug Maki. I want to BITE INTO KARIN. IT IS A NEED.

I swear if ever become like one of those "wrof wrof bark bark bark" commenters below pics of old men on Pinterest (God forbid) it'll be because of her. I am not okay about her. If I weren't aroace she'd probably be the reason I'd consider myself sapphic. She's my muse and I want to devour her like a bear. /silly (lore wise AND character design wise. Both are good.)

Please lord forgive me for I have sinned (I haven't thought about Hozuki much). I really enjoy silly mentors like Hozuki too, which makes it extra embarrassing. Alas, npc struggles, Hozuki's is a walking spoiler 😔

Speaking of walking spoilers. My beloved <3. Why are all the npcs prettier than the main characters.

Jokes aside, I absolutely adore Kotori and her place in the lore. I could gush about her dynamic with Suzuka for hours (downside: only keysmashes). She's so silly and she's so me.

🦋: Is it bad that my back kinda hurts?~

🪁: What? What kind of hurt?

🦋: I don't really know! It just does- it's like, really sore, all the time!

🪁: Do you think it may be because you're still not used to carrying your violin case on your back?

🦋: ...You know what, it's probably that!

🦋: My dad used to drive me to lessons and stuff before, so I didn't really need to carry it a lot!

🦊: You used to live like that? Wimp.

🦋: Hey!..

🦋: (She looks annoyed!..)

🦋: Suzuka-san, did I say something wrong?

🪁: What? No, not you...

🪁: I'm just waiting until the tourists over there are done taking their photos so we can cross.

🪁: They're causing traffic and also taking forever. Seriously, how clueless can you be? It's not like the road is gonna go anywhere...

🦋: ...

🦋: Well, I guess I kinda get it.

🦋: When you're only visiting for a moment, you kinda want to capture everything you see, right? And this street's pretty famous, so of course it's gonna attract people!

🦋: It's kinda rude to call them out for trying to enjoy their vacation, no?

🪁: (Huh... This is the first time I've heard Saitsu being so assertive. Sore spot?)

🪁: (Well, I guess she's right. This is just what having world's biggest intersection does to a city...)

🦊: That's certainly a lot of CDs you're carrying.

🦋: Hehe, I know right! I only wanted to spend a little, but when I see all of those cool musicians, I just can't stop myself!

🦋: Ah, but you aren't really buying anything... Is it because you don't like the kind of music they sell here?

🦊: Well, that's part of it, I guess.

🦋: Not even the classical recordings?!

🦊: No, that's... Nevermind. I guess I just prefer to buy my music online.

🦋: Eeh?! But doesn't it feel so much nicer to have something you can hold in your hands?

🦊: It does. It's just not the right kind of thing for me, that's all.

🦋: (She doesn't look happy saying that...)

🦋: (And that's not the first time I've seen her refuse to buy something material, too.)

🦋: (I remember being like that when we travelled a lot... What are you really thinking, Kozaki-san?..)

🌸: Oh? Well isn't that peculiar.

🦋: I've never heard anything like that before! Do you think it'd sound good?

🌸: Hehe. Who can tell? People are certainly giving classical a new spin recently. I think sampling classical music is as good of a creative choice as any. Although I think a certain redhead here might complain about it...

🦋: Ehe, yeah... She definitely would...

does maki’s photographic memory ever cause her any issues? :o

🦋: Mm, not really! I mean, it gets awkward when I remember anything embarrassing from my childhood or something like that, but I think most people also do that! My memories aren't always on my mind, I just can recall things really well if I try to! Does that make sense?.. Hehe, well.

...I miss some of my friends overseas... Even if I met them again, I don't think we'd be friends anymore. They're probably completely different people now. It hurts a little bit when I look back at the memories we've made together, but between remembering them in too much detail and forgetting... I don't think I'd ever choose to forget.

🦊: Nobody's going anywhere until we get a hold of Kaedehara.

🦊: I appreciate the enthusiasm, though.

🪁: You think she overslept again?

🦊: She'd better not. This is the third time this week. Some people really like testing my patience...

🪁: If she doesn't show up in ten minutes, I suggest we just move on without her. I'm not wasting my practice room with good acoustics time on someone who can't even set up an alarm.

🦋: (Oops, they're really pissed off today! Hurry up, Akari-chan!!..)

🐚: Huh? Oh, that pen case is mine.

🦋: Ooh, I didn't know Kairi-san was an artist!

🐚: An artist?.. No, I'm not. I just use all of these for writing down notes. Since this place is comfortable, it became my study spot, so I moved them here.

🦋: All of these just for study notes, huh?

🦋: Doesn't that seem a bit excessive?..

🐚: (Excessive? She might be right, but...)

🐚: (How do I explain to someone like her that it's the only way to make some subjects less dreadfully boring?)

🦋: Woah, look over there! That guy's flying drones on the street! Is that allowed?!

🌸: I don't see why it wouldn't be, provided the machines don't hurt anyone. Is that some kind of public performance, I wonder? Hehe. How curious.

🦋: Right! You're interested in theatre and things like this, aren't you?

🌸: As much as a regular person would be, I guess. Why?

🦋: Huh? But you mentioned you liked musicals before...

🌸: Ah, it appears to be a misunderstanding... Allow me to explain.

🌸: I find the workmanship and storytelling skills that go into producing the musical. Indeed, that requires quite a keen music sense...

🌸: However, I'm not so fond of the actual "acting" part of the medium. More often than not, actor's creative decisions and deviations from the script end up distracting rather than interesting me...

🌸: Not to mention the actor's appearances, stage decoration and costumes often appear to be quite... Lacking, compared to what I have imagined them to be.

🌸: So no, I'm not a huge fan of theatre as a whole. My apologies.

🦋: I see!... That's an interesting point of view. I doubt I'd be able to listen to a musical without zoning out!

🌸: Hehe. To each their own, I suppose.

🌸: Think of it that way: it's actually quite cheaper to purchase a soundtrack instead of a video recording or a ticket. Saves quite a lot of money, doesn't it?

🦋: I haven't thought about it that way, but... I think you do have a point!

Miyaji Girl's Academy: Maki, Suzuka [1]

🪁: Ugh, seriously? I can't believe you.

🦋: Pretty please, Suzuka-san! Just this once!

🪁: You know that skipping a class just because you're not prepared for the quiz won't actually help your grades, don't you?

🦋: Yeah, but!.. I can make up for it later! I'd rather stay after school to study than take the quiz now and fail!

🪁: (Sigh... She won't just leave it be. If I won't let her stay at the nurse's office, who knows where she'd run off to.)

🪁: (Did she stay up late to practice again? Well, not that I can blame her...)

🪁: Fine. Just this once.

🪁: But if they notice you're faking feelings sick, we're both in trouble, so be on your best behaviour. Understand?

🦋: Yes ma'am! Thank you ma'am!

🪁: (Ugh... They'll definitely notice if she keeps being this upbeat.)

Do any of them have pets?

Maki used to have a parrot! The guy's still alive, just rehomed for his own sake - moving as much as Maki's family does didn't do his health any favours, so they sadly had to say goodbye.

Reishi's family used to have a dog.

Kairi and Akari don't have pets on their own, but are close with others's cats.

I can't answer fully because it is a bit spoilery, but I'll give you the two ends of the spectrum: Maki is the most likely to cry because something insignificant in the long run/minor inconvenience, Kairi is least.
