I keep getting asks and DMs about what Engeki Haikyuu subs I have available, and unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time to reply to every single one, so here’s a masterpost of all available subtitles for Engeki Haikyuu.

※  AGAIN, THESE ARE .ass SUBTITLES ONLY!!! They will not work without the video.

※ Feel free to re-translate the subs, just don’t remove our credits as the original subs uploaders.

i found myself jumping all over tumblr every time i needed to look up links for the stage plays so i decided to just collect them all into this post.
these only link to the posts and not the download links so you still have to follow the individual rules of the lovely people who’ve shared these with us.

The View from the Top is a re-run of the very first Haikyuu stage play with a few extras. You may watch it without needing to watch the first run since it’s essentially the same.
Two separate people have uploaded Summer of Evolution (thank you so much to them!) so feel free to download from either link.

Haikyuu Stage Play Masterpost
--A compilation of others’ links.
Made a list for myself primarily, but figured others might find it helpful as well. View list under the cut.
Last update: 20230316
(Link to the page in question will be in the [ x ] preceding each section. Do be sure to leave replies and like the posts to show appreciation to these lovely folks for their kindness and hard work!)
Please note: Bili has recently changed their site policies, so now all videos can only be viewed in 360p unless you register an account with them, which requires you provide proof of your identity and your phone number (which I strongly Do Not recommend doing). There also seems to be a thing where it will pause every few seconds to encourage you to sign up. Do not fall for it.
[ x ] Original run subs by @/fencer-x, post done by @/whatilikeabouthaikyuu. It would appear that the torrent link is broken, so here is the corrected link.
[ x ] First stage play’s rerun (Itadaki no Keshiki / The View from Above) subs* by @/shadesof-azure, with a link to grab the video from @/bluecatkate.
*Note: You might need to use a subtitle editing software to sort the subs into the proper order for them to work. I used Aegisub, though I’m sure other programs would work as well. If using Aegisub, go select Subtitle >  Sort All Lines > Start Time. That way, the subtitles will be in the proper order and play properly.
[ x ] From @/kikumerio, they have Shousha to Haisha (Winners and Losers), and Shinka no Natsu (Summer of Evolution) videos, as well as several OSTs from the Engeki Haikyuu production series.
[ x ] From @/kanasmusings and @/needlewoman58, a collection of subs and videos. Please note that the videos for these subs must be requested from needlewoman58 by DM or Ask, and you must be off anon. You also must agree to needlewoman58′s terms, which are do not reupload the video to other communities or redistribute to other individuals. Needlewoman58's video files are no longer available. The videos + subs they provide are:
Karasuno, Fukkatsu! / Karasuno, Revival!
Shousha to Haisha / Winners and Losers
Shinka no Natsu / Summer of Evolution! (incl. curtain call)
Saikyou no TEAM / The Strongest Team (incl. curtain call)
Tokyo no Jin / The Tokyo Match
Hisho / Fly High
Memorial DVD
Graduation Special Talk
Video streams without English subs:
Itadaki no Keshiki (The View From the Top)
Documentary of Itadaki no Keshiki
Karasuno, Fukkatsu (Karasuno, Revival)
Above link includes: P1 Full stage play / P2 DVD menu’s music / P3 Backstage
Alternate link for full stage play
Karasuno, Fukkatsu Curtain Call
Shousha to Haisha (Winners and Losers)
Shousha to Haisha Curtain Call
Shousha to Haisha Backstage
Shinka no Natsu (Summer of Evolution)
Shinka no Natsu Backstage
Hajimari no Kyojin (The Start of the Giant)
Hajimari no Kyojin Backstage
Hajimari no Kyojin bonus disc
Saikyou no Chiimu (The Strongest Team)
1st Gen Karasuno Graduation
Tokyo no Jin (The Tokyo Match)
Pro tip: If you grab anyone’s .ass or .srt sub files, you can utilize them on the above videos by using the program Penguin Subtitle Player. The program is a transparent, floating window that runs your subtitle file of choice. Granted, that means the subs and the video will not be automatically in sync, but you can also control that yourself by pausing and starting the video or the sub file until they are in sync. (If you need some reassurance, I’ve tested this with Itadaki no Keshiki with @/shadesof-azure’s subs, and Karasuno, Fukkatsu with @/kanasmusings’ subs, and both worked very well.)
Side note: In the related videos section off to the side, you might be able to find various additional features from the BDs, such as backstage footage, last run footage, etc., or other runs of the Engeki Haikyuu plays.
Key terms to look for, or to search with:
Haikyuu!! = 排球少年
Stage play = 舞台, 舞台剧
Engeki Haikyuu!! = 剧场排球少年
Backstage extras = 后台花絮
Raw = 生肉
Subbed = 熟肉
Curtain call = 谢幕
The View From the Top = 再演*, 顶端的景色
Karasuno, Revival = 乌野、复活!!
Winners and Losers = 胜者与败者
Summer of Evolution = 进化之夏
The Start of the Giant = 最初的巨人
The Strongest Team = 最强的场所(队伍)
The Tokyo Match = 东京之阵
*The View From the Top (Itadaki no Keshiki) is technically a rerun of the first, original stage play for Engeki Haikyuu. As such, the translated name there is actually just “rerun” (lit. performed again). The more proper translation is what follows after the comma.
(The translations above are approximations based on what I’ve seen/managed to find on the site. Some of it is likely slang and should not be taken literally.)
---
I can’t promise it, but I’ll try to update this as I see subsequent things shared.

The World of Engeki Haikyuu
I started to discover live action stage plays roughly about 2 - 3 years ago. At that time I was still recovering from the aftermath of binge watching the whole 3 seasons of Haikyuu. Thus leading me to read the manga online cause I needed to cope with the roller coaster of Haikyuu that I had just gone through.
Anyways as I was searching a little too much of Haikyuu on youtube a certain clip popped up on my feed. Since it had Haikyuu written on it I gave it a try, and wouldn’t you know I walked into another world. I searched madly for the full version cause what I saw was just a clip. What I found were some clips off of dailymotion subbed but split in parts. Nevertheless since I was already invested into Haikyuu at that point watching the whole thing wouldn’t hurt (I figured). I actually didn’t expect to like it (since, well I haven’t had the privilege of watching an actual stage play so I didn’t know what to expect) and I figured they wouldn’t possibly be able to relay the intensity of what I felt in the anime to the actual play.
It was incredible and unlike anything I'd ever seen.It was adorable, funny and just so what I didn’t know I needed.
After watching the first one I started to really get down and research everything about this and wouldn’t you know it there was a whole 3 plays out (at that time) and one still in play. The one I watched which was the first run of the Engeki  Haikyuu, the second run Itadaki no Keshiki and Karasuno Fukkatsu. The one currently on theaters at that time was Shousha to Haisha.
At this point I decided to be devoted to watching these and looking forward to the next ones out. But of course like any other person out there, I was broke like really really broke and there was no way that I could get my hands on those cds. But there was no way in hell that I would not allow myself to watch them stage plays so research is what I did. And wouldn’t you know it I found the light at the end of the tunnel.
bluecatkate’s tumblr page was like heaven and I don’t know if there’s any way to relay just how thankful I am. You don’t understand how grateful I was to find her when I was starting to get devastated that I was never gonna be able to watch this when I just found it. Though I don’t get why people would stoop so low as to repost her videos online as their own. She’s already an extremely considerate person to share her cds with all of us and yet some people would do something so despicable. I’m all for love and support so that was really low of them. I hope to buy them myself in the future, when I have enough savings to support what will definitely be a large splurge.
I have yet to watch the last 3 which are Hajimari no Kyoujin, Saikyou no team and Tokyo no Jin, still waiting since I know that its relatively new and also very much still peeved about this. I was in Japan when they were still running and I would’ve been able to watch it if only our stay was extended by a day or two. Unfortunately we couldn’t and my heart was crying so hard the day we were leaving. I felt really empty that day.
Anyways, here we are now a couple of years after and the original casts of Karasuno have graduated and a new generation of casts have been passed the baton. I’m gonna miss the cast, they were all so fit for their respective roles, even the ones who graduated mid of the other plays. I was so dedicated to this (still am). Thankfully I understood enough japanese and knew much about haikyuu to know what they were saying, there were a few exceptions but still I knew what was going on. The gags especially were my favorites as much as the behind the scenes and bloopers. I don’t think there’s any going back on this. I look forward to future ventures of the Haikyuu franchise. It really was an experience.
