#Kazurabashi Bridge
Kazurabashi, Scenic Spot(Tokushima, Japan) かずら橋★★
I went to Kazurabashi Bridge in Iya (^o^)
The bridge will shake quite a bit (sweat)
Of course, it is safe because it is fixed with a wire (^o^)
As it is a local dish of this region, I also ate dekomawashi(taro, tofu, and konnyaku baked and coated with miso)at Ikoi Shokudo (^o^)v

Iya Valley's Kazurabashi Bridge by Visit Japan AU
Made by weaving together vines by hand and are now reinforced and rebuilt every three years. They were commonly believed to have been constructed by the defeated Heike soldiers who fled from their Genji pursuers in the 12th century. The suspension bridges were meant to keep out outsiders, as they could easily be cut down if enemies approached.

[O R I G I N S] Lockscreen series 3/5
✠ Kai - Tokushima ✠
Deep in the inner Iya Village in Tokushima Prefecture, two bridges made of mountain vines (kazurabashi) are known as ‘Oku-Iya Kazurabashi’ or ‘couple bridges.’ The larger of the two bridges, ‘Husband Bridge’ stretches 44 meters across the river next to a small waterfall, while the slightly lower ‘Wife Bridge’ is a 22 meter span just a little ways upstream. They are connected to each other by a network of paved hiking trails.

Biwa Waterfall (びわの滝)
Just 1 minute away from Iya Kazurabashi Vine Bridge, you will come across the Biwa Waterfall. The waters were extremely clear and the sound of the waterfall made me feel so relaxed! The waters flow down to the valley and it was such a beautiful sight. Coming from the city this is like heaven…

Day 112
After breakfast we drove through Iya-Valley to look at the Kazurabashi bridge.  It was even snowing for a while (I think you can see it on one of the pictures)!
In the afternoon we then took the ferry to Hiroshima.
