Charlie can show resistance to anything that he isn’t instantly great at and would much rather spend his time building things out of Lego bricks, boxes...or, pretty much anything, for that matter...or, charging around at full-pelt in the playground; jumping, climbing, balancing etc, etc, than sit down, sit STILL for a minute, and practice his letters ‘in the cursive style’! (🙄 boring, Mummy!) However, I attended a ‘Stay and Play’ session at his reception (kindergarten) class today and, whilst I was there (admittedly, after he’d shown me the Lego in the construction area and how to ride the ‘Big Red Bike’ 😂), he instructed me to, “Wait over there and don’t look, whilst I concentrate!...I’ll tell you when!”....Then, a few minutes later, he rose up, triumphantly, to show me this writing he had done on his white board, all by himself! 😍 He gave me a big smile and asked me to take a picture to show Daddy, before declaring, “It says Mummy and then Daddy underneath!” 😃And then, looking a bit worried, he asked, “I did spell it right, didn’t I?!” 😳😂 Yes, Charlie.
