That's a nice cast on him but it does not look comfortable. I've tried this at work when I've had casts on but it didn't work for me. I'm glad it worked for him though!

A beautiful illustration of the story. The actual pillars in question are the ones at Rosslynn Chapel ( see doc from the chapel below at download link) .

The best part is that you can actually see the entire corner of the chapel where both the pillars stand (along with a tomb and some windows) as a plaster cast in the V and A cast halls in London. (Blog post from the museum linked)

Today I was painting my exhibition space. Only got one coat of paint on but was an exhausting job prepping to paint.

I will hopefully finish painting tomorrow as I need 3 or 4 coats more to make the space white and bright!

Those people who know me well, know that I LOVE vintage photos of any kind. This is from 1971. I am incredibly grateful that I grew up at the end of the era of plaster casts and wooden crutches in the 1980s. But prior to that, that is really all there was. I remember when my friends Chad and Adam broke their arms in 5th grade and BEHOLD...the first white fiber casts I ever saw.
