I participated in the TMNT Pit’s Secret Santa this year! This art was made for @ninjastar-ace

The prompt was: Raph getting decorated like a Christmas tree by one or more of his brothers

And initially I wasn’t 100% sure iteration this was indicating, and had a brain fart moment forgetting there was a way to ask questions without ruining the surprises, but I figured “yes Rise Raph is tall as a tree, but also 03 Raph got a growth spurt as was taller than the others at the end of the series.” And thus, the prompt developed the additional detail of being a contest between two iterations.

This took more than 10 hours to complete, and mostly because this was the first time I drew the 2003 turtles in a serious manner. (Doodling for daycare kids at work in 2014 doesn’t count cause it wasn’t serious.)

At the end of it all, I wanted to make sure they were at least recognizable and posing in a way that felt believable. 03 Leo was originally questioning whether it was cheating that Raph had more space for ornaments, and the decorations were going to be a lot more extravagant, but I was running out of time and squeezed the Christmas part of the picture in the last two hours. I certainly had a lot of fun, even when I was holding my head wondering what I got myself into. Looking forward to next years celebration!

@ anonymous uhm well... she fights in the battle nexus. She upgraded her own weapon with two functions. One she calls solar eclipse that emits a very dark smoke cloud and one that's called moonlight and temporarily blinds her opponents. She's very competitive but doesn't mind losing if her opponent wins because of great skills and quick thinking. (She loaths cheaters and people who 'let' her win). She is actually pretty sweet but enjoys teasing others and doesn't hold back when in a competition (this includes board games and such). She is often straight to the point and honest about what she feels which can come across as rude to some. She doesn't care though.

@ anonymous aaah that seems painful! I guess the worst cases were getting my earrings stuck in the others hair, bumping into glasses and my neck getting bent because the one hugging me was too tall

I can definitely imagine them having some hug issues especially with their shells hehe

Judging by the ask sender, MoW Don deduced that someone from Cabin 5 must be the culprit. And maybe it was because Raph was the only one among them who had experience being the leader, but the trio decided to follow his plan, that simply consisted of confronting them.

Sure, they wouldn’t blame them too much for the ooze prank, right?

And so the three called out the cabin 5 members.

anyway a WIP snippet from my Original Fiction because, it's my post I make the rules! (I haven't made a ton of progress on the current draft of this, this is actually like 90% of what I've currently got--)

Rolling his eyes, Finn wandered out into the main floor. “Hi, and welcome to Prawn and Joy,” Finn started to mechanically go through the script drilled into him by his bosses. And then he recognized who had just walked in. “Oh. It’s you.”

“Finn!” Mr. Wagner bellowed from the back again.

“It’s just Sean, Mr. Wagner!” Finn yelled back. Crossing his arms, he shot a narrow eyed look at his little brother. “So what do you want?”

Sean shifted uncomfortably, eyes darting towards everything but Finn. “…Saw a merman at the beach today.”

“Yeah? Not the first time,” Finn said bitterly. “Why are you telling me? I’m the one thats nuts for talking about that sort of stuff.”

“That’s not--” Sean blew out an annoyed huff. “It’s that shark guy. He’s stuck.”

And now that sent a chill down Finn’s spine. “Bruce is stranded on shore?”

“That’s what I just said!” Sean said, throwing his hands in the air.”

“Mr. Wagner! Gotta go! Witch emergency!” Finn yelled, jerking off his (lame) work apron.

Here’s a snippet from Lost and Found. 

“Man, I can’t believe my sister’s in town,” April scowled, lounging in the pool floaty she and Leo had dragged up to the top of the hotel that housed the rooftop pool they were fond of sneaking into. Leo took a running jump into the pool. “Cannonball!” April squealed as water splashed over her. Leo sank all the way to the bottom, and then kicked off, spitting water at her when he broke the surface. April laughed, splashing him back. “What’s so bad about your sister being in town?” Leo asked, clinging onto the edge of her floaty. “Ugh, what isn’t?” April scowled. “First time in ages Mom and Dad are both home, and she’s gotta show up all like ‘ooooh, ‘rents! I’m in town! We should totally hang out the whooooole time I’m in New York’ - as if they aren’t gettin’ back on a plane to who knows where by the end of the week.” April crossed her arms, scowling. “I was lookin’ forward to actually spending time with them, and to make it all worse? She is soooooo messy! Like, so messy. I hate living with her, I was so glad when she went off to college.” “Sounds rough,” Leo hummed, floating on his back. “You are so lucky you don’t have any siblings.” Leo pursed his lips, staring up at the night sky above them. The two sit in silence for a while, the weight of it growing heavy on Leo’s chest. He chewed on his lip, eyeing April lounging next to him picking at a chip in her nail. “...I had a brother, April.”
