With any body of work, the clue is always in the title. Kingdmusic presents his third offering ‘Perfect Love’. This body of work carries a message of love. It takes one on a different journey roping you in different cultures with different sounds from all over the world. It took him over a year to work on this beautiful body of work. ‘Perfect Love’ is also connected to his previous albums. Debut album ‘Seasons’ was inspired by the tough seasons in Kingdmusic’s life. ‘Denga’ album was about embracing who he is as an African artist. Which brings us to the African inspired sounds on the album and lyrics that point to God’s love amid and having overcome tough seasons. ONE NIGHT IN CALIFORNIA will feature sixteen songs of transparency telling the true story of Haddon hearing from God concerning the calling over his life, during a time in which his mental health was being tested. Deitrick Haddon earned the name, "the new face of Gospel," after his album Church on the Moon debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Gospel chart. The Detroit native is known for his progressive, urban style of gospel music, but he is also the founding pastor of Hill City Church in California. He is also a former cast member on Oxygen's reality television show Preachers of L.A. Christmas 2020, Haddon teamed up with super-producer Zaytoven to create what they consider to be their best body of work to date, on the holiday EP “Greatest Gift.” Additionally, Haddon penned three songs on Usher’s album, “A.” As an actor, Haddon starred in the original TV One film, SINS OF THE FATHER and the ALLBLK film, THE FALLEN.

Celebrate Africa, an afro-dance music expression of home grown writers, composers and producers from Harare, Zimbabwe, has teamed up with Denga “Kingdmusic” Takalani, multi- award-winning artist, songwriter, worship leader and record producer, to release a new song to capture a new anthem of hope for this generation. The song titled “Hallelujah”, is driven by a melodic fusion of Afro-beats and victorious dance music, written in two languages (Shona and English). In amongst all of the news and expressions of defeat and depression, this is a song of victory.

Tommy and Daniel Deuschle, who started the Celebrate Africa collective, say of the song: “We believe this is a call back to courage. A reminder to keep hope in their hearts and victory in their hand. We know the details of defeat and depression. This song focuses on the picture of victory that we all have. It’s closer than we think and sometimes we hear the sound of victory, before we see it.”

Denga Takalani adds: “This song is a declaration that we will not give up, no matter what the circumstances are. We will continue to praise God because He is good and His love endures forever.” Celebrate Africa’s unique sound combines trans-african choirs, unforgettable melodies and hope-hitting beats. KINGDMUSIC TO RELEASE AN AMAZING WORSHIP SONG “CHILD OF HEAVEN” ON THE 19TH OF JUNE 2020.

With everything that is currently happening in the world, “Child Of Heaven” is a great reminder and powerful declaration of who we are and whose we are. The song is very close to Kingdmusic’s heart and this is what he shared about the song:

“God gave me the song idea when I was at the lowest point in my life. After going into music & ministry full time, I got depressed for a few months. Things were tough for me financially, emotionally, mentally and that affected me spiritually. People who I thought were for me weren't in my corner when I needed them the most. This left me in a vulnerable space and had the enemy say things to me like; ‘You are a failure, you are not loved, you are alone, you are not worth it, you are a sinner and you don't deserve God's grace.’ I felt alone, and that is when the Holy Spirit reminded me of who I am and directed me to the book of Ephesians. I regained my confidence through scripture and now we have a song fam! I pray this song reminds you of what you carry, who you are and WHOSE YOU ARE. You are a CHILD OF HEAVEN. Jesus knows your name.”

This is a perfect song to sing over your loved ones too. It’s easy to forget we are children of the heavenly kingdom and carry all that God has placed in us, especially in the midst of chaos like the COVID-19 pandemic which we are experiencing across the globe. We need songs like these that are coming straight from the Word of God to remind us that we are not alone. God is on our side.
