KenganTober Day 1: Kiozan Takeru 

Theme for this year will be Kengan Asura Characters and I thought Kiozan would be a good start.

A few misc. animal headcanons to kick this account off:

• Kaneda has a pet red fox named Hoshi.

• Rihito loves big dogs.

• Ohma is a cat person.

• Kiozan has a few dogs, and each one is named something based around "ichi," meaning "one."

• Sekibayashi actually has quite a few animals, and adores each one.

Hello, good luck with your blog. Could you do Kiozan Takeru with an s/o that his brothers set him up with? Like, a fan or someone that they met and decide to play wingmen and get their brother a partner?

Hell yeah! sorry this took so long, there’s like, literally nothing on his brothers from what I could find, so I just kinda,,, took creative liberties and inferred their personalities from what they looked like! Hope you don’t mind!

Takeru’s Brothers being Wingmen

“So, Takeru,” Ko’ozan started, wrapping an arm around his little brother’s shoulders. “I’ve noticed you eyeing your number one fan lately. You gonna make a move anytime soon?”

The look on Takeru’s face almost made Ko’ozan choke on his own laugh: he looked like someone had spit in his dinner at his favorite restaurant right in front of him. He huffed, looking away.

“What? All I’m saying is that you two would look cute together!” He leaned close to Takeru, bringing his hand up to whisper: “Ken is already talking them up for you anyway so you might as well wear your best clothes-”

“What?” Takeru bellowed while Ko cackled in delight at his brother’s suffering.

“Really?” You said with bright eyes, staring up at Ken. 

He nodded, enjoying the attention you were giving him as he talked about his brother. “He always gets a little flashier when he catches you in the crowd, you know that move he does in the ring where he winds himself up?”

You nod, turning your body to fully face him now. 

“He only does that when he really wants to impress someone- and you, my friend, he wants to impress.”

You open your mouth about to say something when the words seem to die on your tongue. You turn back to your drink and stir your straw around. Ken frowns.

“Are you alright?”

“Yeah, it’s just…” You twist your drink this way and that, watching as the liquid sloshes from side to side. “It’s hard to believe that someone as amazing as Takeru would be interested in someone like me.”

“Why’s that?” You look up at him, a soft smile gracing his lips, “I’ve just properly met you and I already think you’re a delight to be around. You’d be wonderful for our little brother.”

“You think so?” You would have continued to say more if it wasn’t for the shouting coming from the entrance of the cafe you were currently sitting in with Ken. 

“Why didn’t you ask me first!”

“Because you would’ve been a wimp and said no!”

The two towering figures striding through the door continued to bicker, the shorter one, Takeru (though not by much, maybe an inch or two), scanned the cafe until his sharp eyes landed on Ken, who simply waved with a peaceful smile on his face. “You.” He hissed as he came stomping over. 

You almost coward behind Ken when he put a steadying hand on your back. “Hello, Tak, how are you this fine morning?”

“Don’t give me that shit. Why are you here? With them?”

“We were just talking-” he turns to you- “Weren’t we, Y/N?”

“Ah, yes.” You nod, feeling your face heat up as Takeru’s gaze lands on you.

He grunts, crossing his arms and looking away. It had become deathly silent in the cafe. You shifted in your seat, your eyes drifting around to everyone that was looking at the commotions. Takeru seemed to take notice, glowering around the room. “The hell are you looking at? Mind your own business.” (Ko and Ken watched in an eager sort of way at his reaction). 

Sure enough, the patrons slowly went back to what they had been previously doing. 

Ko nudged Takeru’s arm, widening his eyes and flicking them back and forth between him and you. Takeru shook his head, eyebrows drawn into a tighter ‘v’ then they usually are.

Ken sighed, turning to you. “Y/N?”

You jumped a bit, Ken squeezed your shoulder. “Y- yes?”

“Are you free on Friday at 8 pm?”

You took a moment to think before you nodded. “Yes, I am.”

“Good.” Ken turned to his little brother, who squinted at him. “You didn’t make any plans for Friday at 8 did you?”

  “No.”

Ko's eyes brightened as he realized what was going on; he clapped his hands together. “It’s settled then! You two will meet here at 8 pm this Friday!”

Takeru looked ready to strangle his brother until he felt a tug at the sleeve of his Kimono, he looked down at you: red faced and determined as you gazed up at him. “Takeru?” He gulped, fighting the on coming blush that crept up his neck. “I’d love to meet with you on Friday- is that ok with you?”

He gulped. “Yeah.” 

His brothers cheered in the background as it was settled.

Kiozan Takeru with a Smol Female Sumo Fan S/O Headcanons

Some minor spoilers for the later chapters of Ashura and Omega, but I think the anime has covered it!

After his defeat in the Kengan tournament, Takeru turned over a new leaf. He went back into modern sumo wrestling with a new mindset, and quickly climbed the ranks. It’s funny; he never thought he’d be able to get back into it, but despite some reservations, he managed to win the respect of his peers one more. After his rebellious actions, he’s actually a little surprised to have a fan- and later girlfriend- as devoted as his partner.

His personality is still rough around the edges, but his girlfriend’s definitely playing a part in helping him get a little softer. Though he’s a little embarrassed whenever someone brings it up, his older brothers are rather happy that he’s found someone who appreciates him- and their sport.

Honestly, Takeru is surprised to find someone like his partner into sumo. Nothing’s wrong with her being a girl, it’s just that not many girls his age are interested in it. And she’s so... small. It’s hard to imagine she would be. But he was proven wrong after listening to all her passionate ramblings about various sumo wrestlers, listing in perfect detail how they won or lost the match, even using the correct terms. To see someone so into the sport he’d once renounced... it helped him respect modern sumo once more.

Takeru is an honourable man, even if his fighting didn’t used to honour proper sumo wrestling. When he asked his girlfriend out, he brought her on a proper date, flowers and everything. Before they first kissed, he asked whether or not she wanted to. He’s a good kid, really- and a surprisingly innocent one when it comes to romance.

Looking out for someone comes naturally to him. Maybe it’s because of how he helped Sakura when she wasn’t not on secretarial duties? Either way, he looks out for his girlfriend, supporting her when she needs it. 

During matches, she gets a front row seat. Hearing his girlfriend’s voice cheering him on drives him to win- and some might joke she’s the motivation that got him to sekiwake. Except it’s not really a joke. Having someone whom he can connect with, both on an emotional level and about his sport, is something he is sincerely grateful for.

Julius, Sekibayashi, Kiozan, Kuroki and Muteba May not be conventionally attractive, but they can still fucking get it.

Julius - BIG boy. The titty is already out. He’d probably like having someone appreciate his muscles. He worked hard on them and yes you can touch them. He’d flex for you. Also very handy for moving furniture. Hot!

Sekibayashi - great personality. Fun, loud, cooks, the dick is probably big too. Will make you laugh a lot. You know he eats ass, he straight up looks like he eats ass, and he’d be damn good at it too. Big fingers too and also big titty like Julius. Hot!

Kuroki - give him beard scritches and hear him purr like the big cat he is. Old, has experience, probably really good at fingering and would be chill with getting nothing in return. Literally told Rihito he wasn’t gonna teach him and then immediately started teaching him. Hot!

Muteba - handsome man. Great smile. The dick is bomb and he dresses well. Deep voice and probably real chill once you get to know him. His home would smell like sandalwood or something nice and he’d have some nice music playing to welcome you before he fucks your hip up. Hot!

Raian Kure 👹: his S/O would be mellow and nonchalant but strong and supportive at the same time. Ngl his S/O has to be a bad bitch/savage to handle all that Raian is and put him in his place.

took a nap & had a mostly interesting dream that almost became a nightmare due to my brain adding in a guy attempting to do foul things to me, but then kiozan takeru appeared & like raging vigored him through a wooden floor so hard he hit his head at an angle & it came right off. blood everywhere. and then after that it just said MISSION SUCCESS and the dream faded to black.

 this was so so so funny to me kiozan is not a kengan character that i ever think about or has even appeared recently. hope he’s doing good tho.

Kengan Spoilers

So following my last post here is the "maybe" for Part 2 of Kengan Ashura. Starting with Match #8 Sekibayashi Jun vs. Kiozan Takeru. I'd imagine from part 1, Netflix will make each match an episode each.

If you loved this airheaded, directionally challenged lady...forget it. Sad to say it's a character that can be skipped like some others I've noticed.

As for others scenes/characters that can be skipped for Kiozan' s background. Netflix will probably not use Kiozan's personal training or his brothers because his character can be simplified as a young rebellious hot-tempered sumo wrestler. Also a short scene of Koizan's "sumo" history. Not saying Kiozan was not an important character but Sekibayashi is popular and will have more focus on his background.

As for this charismatic tree-trunk I hope Netflix does his background perfectly, including both role models in pro-wrestling. However if Netflix had to summarize it, they'd probably use Kurachi Karugo to define pro-wrestling.

As for what will happen on the sidelines during the match, you can count on Wakatsuki (that handsome veteran) to commentary the fight. Sadly for the whole season, Adam will not be Cosmo's nurse. And as for Cosmo's manager telling him to learn from the fight, maybe?

Kono Haruo being Sekibayashi student will happen because it shows how awesome and strong he is before the match.
