i’ve seen ppl criticize both kitty and natasha for being tolstoy’s overly stereotypical girl characters and while i hate tolstoy and think he was a misogynist, those girls are also just like me… so. maybe he was onto something there.

rip to princess ekaterina alexandrovna “kitty” shcherbatskaya, i think there are so many things in this beautiful modern world that you would enjoy, being eighteen and rightfully dramatic about everything and such… this post was going to say “you would have loved olivia rodrigo” which is true but i got sappy halfway through

Nikiforov:
Can i not submit viktor for a russian blorbos tournament? I think not. Best fictional skater ever, best couple, best everything, plus I had his same haircut for a while there.
Absolute icon dropped his career and everything because his fanboy gave him puppy dog eyes and asked him to train him when he was literally blackout drunk
Kitty was submitted without propaganda.

Although Count Vronsky and Konstantin Levin are characters in the same novel, "Anna Karenina," they are quite different in many ways. However, there are some similarities between the two characters as well.
Disillusionment with Society: Both Vronsky and Levin are dissatisfied with the societal norms and conventions of their time. Vronsky is bored with the shallow and superficial life of high society, while Levin is disillusioned with the emptiness of the aristocracy and is searching for a deeper sense of meaning in life.
Passion for Adventure: Both Vronsky and Levin are drawn to excitement and adventure. Vronsky is passionate about horse racing and is easily bored, while Levin is drawn to the natural world and is constantly seeking new experiences and knowledge.
Struggle for Meaning: Both Vronsky and Levin are searching for a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. Vronsky is looking for excitement and novelty, while Levin is searching for spiritual enlightenment.
Love: Both Vronsky and Levin are in love with strong-willed women who challenge their conventional views of the world. Vronsky falls in love with Anna Karenina, while Levin is in love with Kitty Shcherbatskaya.
In conclusion, while Vronsky and Levin are very different characters, they are both seeking something more in life and are both struggling with their place in the world. These similarities make their stories more intertwined and highlight the broader themes of "Anna Karenina."

“There was apparently nothing striking either in [Kitty’s] dress or her attitude. But for Levin she was as easy to find in that crowd as a rose among nettles. Everything was made bright by her. She was the smile that shed light on all round her.” Anna Karenina, Leo Tolstoy (1877)

Honda:
You know the trope in sports stories with the former sports star who had to stop their career because of an injury but get hopeful again and back in business when they start training the main character? that's him.
