Despite his name, Mandas is actually not the one who spelled the end of Kivouack. He did, however have radical views. He agreed with Methusa, but after her death accepted that defying Locket was impossible. Mandas has the ability to manipulate his body for about a minute after being decapitated, making him undesirable by most. He rescued Adrastea from a chop shop while she was still a fowler for a hefty fee. He showed her the world and became like a father figure to her. However, during the time she was asleep and maturing, Mandas got into a particularly bad fight while drunk and accidentally spilled his allegiance with Methusa's worldviews, provoking a crowd who took him to Winifred, who humiliated and eventually killed him. When Adrastea awoke, she was overcome by grief at the passing of her mentor. Then came rage. She took on the name of Mandas and gathered Methusa's scattered followers. She slowly gained Locket's trust and set to work dismantling the carefully crafted Kivouack that Locket strived to maintain. Mandas went and punished as many of Locket's followers as possible, and made Winifred's punishment especially humiliating for what she did to the original Mandas. That's right, Adrastea becomes Mandas!

My Kivouachian OC i made a while back, this could count as his redesign. His name is Duelle and he specializes in sewing and making fashionable kivic clothing. He admires Helgan and wants to get hold of her fur coating, since it would make such a wonderful outfit design. He's not very big size-wise, nor has big ambitions, he's just a guy who likes his craft. But he does love getting in on intrigues of the city and finding out about the outside world. He's a bit of a playful tease which makes most serious kivvas annoyed at him. Sidenote: please note that the series (or i guess, a book) is for mature audiences only. (full version of the art below)

Meet Tatzel, my new Kiv OC!

I finally finished listening to the "Amygdala" audiobook and was inspired to make a Kiv of my own - it's been a long time coming :)

Tatzel started as a skipper, had a brief stint as a blackhall, and now is the minstrel of a small but popular waterside laughhouse(Kivic pub)! As a blackhall he specialized in poisons; as a minstrel, he loves to make colorful drinks using his chemical knowledge!

Uhh this was kinda rushed, mainly for art fight… excuse my poor handwriting.

I haven’t actually read Amygdala yet (shame on me) BUT I’d like to believe I have enough of an idea to at the very least create a very simple Kivouachian OC, because gosh darn it they are very cool.

This little man here is “Diligence”, who is very direct and not afraid to speak his thoughts, however still kind at heart, like a strict teacher who is just that way because they want their students to succeed. He is a fan of literature, writing fictional stories, as well as documenting events as they unfold in both literal and poetic manners, utilizing his tiny size to stay unnoticed while spying on his subjects. With his two sets of wings, he can switch between two separate styles of flight: stiffly hovering like a hummingbird, or effortlessly gliding like a swift.

Having nearly finished Sam Fennah's "Amygdala", I've been inspired to work on some Kivouachian OCs:

Fritz is the first one I made and I never posted him outside of the official Fennah discord. I've even written for him a bit during the October Murder Mystery event. The second image isn't canon, I just thought him interacting with Felicity would be cute.

Anyway to explain him a bit more, he started life as a wandering Fowler and ended up in the Kivvic town of Soollum, where he'd meet the other two OCs. While he has done mercenary work as a Blackhall, he mainly prefers simpler jobs, like handling cargo or guard duty. He, as well as most Kivs in Soollum, speak in a Scottish dialect.

Another Soollum native. Meeting Fritz changes her life forever, and pushes her to become more than just a desperate survivalist.

A Bookkeeper with a decent reputation, so long his history with the Yolsh is kept quiet.
