Soooooo... the Crunchyroll Anime Awards are going to happen soon.
youtube
Oh yes, I can already hear and feel all the salt just like last year, when Yuri!!! on Ice won everything, even though it wasn’t all that great, at least that was the argument. This year I assume Boku no Hero Academia will take that place. Well, it is a public voting so of course it’s a popularity contest. Personally, I’m okay with Boku no Hero Academia, like it was an enjoyable show and I had lots of fun with it. It wasn’t as great to me as it was to many, though I enjoyed it a lot and with this one being most likely the one to win most of the categories I’m more okay with it than with Yuri!!! on Ice, though I actually was okay with that one too, but it was, to me personally, just not a very outstanding show for most part, but how about I give you my personal winners out of the Crunchyroll Nominees so you can tell me, how wrong I am:
Best OP: The Ancient Magus Bride (tbh, that’s the only one that I know out of these.^^’) Best ED: Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (or Houseki no Kuni that’s a close call) Best Movie: In this Corner of the World (though I have yet to watch Koe no Katachi so, that could change.) Best CGI: Houseki no Kuni (I mean, of course.) Best Score: Made in Abyss (If you don’t vote for this one, chances are high you haven’t listened to it yet.^^) Best Animation: Houseki no Kuni (though again, I haven’t seen Koe no Katachi and Dragon Maid is quite high up there as well for me.. KyoAni Fanboy, I know) Best Action: Boku no Hero Academia (out of all the nomination this show has, this is the one it deserves the most in my opinion) Best Drama: 3-gatsu no Lion (and I haven’t started season two yet..) Best Comedy: Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon(Well, tbh Little Witch Academia could win this one as well.) Best Slice of Life: Tsuki ga Kirei (I have yet to watch Girls Last Tour but I feel pretty good on my choice.) Best Continuing Series: 3-gatsu no Lion (yes I know, technically I haven’t started season two but season one was ongoing from 2016 into 2017 so..) Best Girl: Ochako Uraraka (Chise, Akko and Tsuyu also are fantastic but I got a lot of sympathy for Ochako from the get-go.) Best Boy: Rei Kiriyama (by far the best written charakter in the list. Fafnir is fun and the BnHA boys are also quite fun but Rei takes the spot easily.) Best Hero: Atsuko “Akko” Kagari (Yes, I’m sure Izuku will win this one and he’s allowed to. He is the most classic hero of them all and I’m okay with that, but Akko wins it for me.) Best Villain: Stain (I got to be honest here.. BnHA and Made in Abyss are the only shows out of this category that I’ve watched.) Best Manga: I’m not much of a reader so I haven read any of them.. pass on this one. Anime of the Year: Made in Abyss (Was without a doubt the best show of 2017 for me, though Houseki no Kuni, The Ancient Magus Bride and Little Witch Academia are not far behind.)

I’m rewatching Kono Sekai no Katsumi ni because the last time I watched it was like a year ago while I was on the plane back home. It made me shed a tear or two, but I was in public so I was conscious.
Now I’m at home NO LIMITS I’m ready to breakdown. The first time they get bombed is giving me chills (I paused because I needed a break. Being empathetic to scenarios is draining, but good.) so I can’t wait until the True Heartbreak scene.
Everything is better this time around I think. I remember some interactions, so the story is easier to follow along and then the no limited emotions.
