Kotake and Koume!! Ganondorf’s moms are back!!

The Gerudo seen on either side of Ganondorf in a couple of the cutscenes appear to have a similar green complexion to him, one wearing red and another blue, these elements are typically attributed to Kotake and Koume.

The gloom weapon set also seems to feature similar text to WW Ganondorf’s blades, of which had the names of his surrogate mothers!

Maybe we’ll get to see them in a DLC, but that’s mostly me hoping…

I designed the tent with the sahraui jaima/haima/khayma/ خايما  in mind (might post other sketches soon). A part of my heart is always with my strong willed neighbours and may the Sahara be a free nation soon. I started this over a year ago. I've always liked Twinrova's dress design, so I decided to incorporate it into a redesign for young Koume and Kotake.

I know I could have animated this better without losing so much quality in the gif making process, but I'm lazy. So, here's the different parts not in gif form, along with some color variations bc I liked them.

so im a little new to your blog, and i just found your reincarnated blights au and i think its really neat. anyways do you know how the “plot” with them would work if they were actually in botw? idk i wanna see how their storyline goes lol

Thank you glad you like it! :D tbh I don’t really have too much about this it was just a silly idea I thought about awhile ago lol but I’ll still share :)

My original thought was that it would take place after beating all the blights and before defeating ganon like how the dlc goes. Instead of word from zelda or maz kosha, koume and kotake sets their plan in motion by contacting link through telepathy. From there somehow it branches off to each of the blights “reincarnations”. They’re not actually reincarnations but more of a host to their abilities using the remnants of the malice from each blight. The two carefully picked out each one throughout the years of link’s slumber and onward. The malice orb they’ve created feeds off strong negative energy making it easier to take control of someone. Eventually they all will fight link while a “mysterious lady” watches from close by (they’ll fight two like a finally boss type thing or something)

I'm sorry for not posting for almost a month, sickness kicked me and my family butt this month but we're better now!

Wait, hold on, Ganondorf had Koume and Kotake’s names carved on his weapons??? That’s so cute 😭😭😭

Also someone pointed out that the twins on either side of TotK Ganondorf in the Show of Fealty cutscene are wearing blue and red respectively, further confirming that they’re young Koume and Kotake.

Twinrova, pre-immortality! I like to imagine that my AU takes place before OOT, so where they are 400 there, here they’re more like 50. Eventually I’ll design their combined form
