Gortash being the first one to give Durge a new name after all who knew passed on, a nickname he uses frequently, humanising something utterly inhumane while also claiming ownership of their personhood. Placing himself as their creator. He bestowed the name. He gave them something unique. He gave them the privilege to exist on their own.

Gortash, convincing a monster that they're not a monster. Stealing a god's tool and putting his mark on the divine.

I love that little smile he gives Shepard in the med bay after Eden Prime.

I love his slip of the tongue on the Citadel in ME1 when he indirectly tells Shepard he thinks she’s beautiful.

I love his dry comments when you take him along groundside in ME1 and his snarky remarks when you talk to him back on the Normandy.

I love how annoyed he looks when Joker interrupts that almost-first kiss in front of the lockers.

I love that tentative smile he gives Shepard at the beginning of ME3.

I love that strut when he comes to Shepard’s aid in the Citadel DLC together with that smirk and the “Looks like you’re having a bad day, Shepard.”, and his smirk after asking the volus to open the gates for them on the Cision Motors skycar lot.

I read this fic (i LOVE library fix-its) that theorizes how the Doctor would not be the one to get River out of the Library. And while it does not bide well with my romantic cynical heart, it does make sense tho. River's entire life has been shaped around him even til her death so when River says "left me like a book on a shelf" to the Doctor, it's more like a gift. He's leaving the door wide open for her to start life, her life, on her own terms. He knows his wife and he knows what his wife is capable of. But River being River sees it as him abandoning her and moving on. So what if all this time the Doctor has just been waiting for River to get herself out of the Library

I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m Irish and used to seeing all sorts of haha jokes about how weird our names are etc but yet I’m always surprised how surprised people are when I say that I find Welsh a pretty easy language to get the gist of. It makes sense! Welsh is something I know very little of but yet I find it easy enough to parse out the pronunciation of. I don’t always know what things mean but I’m not usually that far off in how they should be said.
