nayeon is a prefect, of course, she used to be the head of house but chungha succeeded her after nayeon decided to focus more on her studies

headcannon that nayeon and chungha are are lowkey besties

they don’t talk much, but they respect each other and always like to have nice chats about the school

but other than her leadership roles, nayeon is like the older sister of the gryffindor house

sort of has no idea what’s going on sometimes but tries her best because everyone asks her for advice

cries at graduation because she loves hogwarts so much

ends up working at the ministry of magic

she’s so perfect help🥺

is everyone’s crush, ryujin follows in her footsteps

is the slytherin seeker, probably flusters the other seekers because she’s intimidating but so gorgeous and charismatic

really enjoys hogwarts and takes advantage of all the fun magic it has to offer

is always in the library finding mystery books to read

snuck in two kittens along with her owl because she didn’t want to choose

famous for bringing a whole ass snake as a pet instead of you know, the legal pets like toads, owls, and cats

except everyone’s mildly terrified to join because she looks really intimidating

when in reality the only bad thing she’s ever done is stealing sana’s cat because she wanted something to cuddle

and when sana took her cat momo dragged sana over inside to snuggle

as a first year she cried in front of her class one time for some reason that her brain has forgotten to protect her because she freaked the fck out

because she was afraid of tarnishing her scary slytherin reputation

now, she’ll have a good swig of butterbeer and wipe a tear away over how good it tastes (because finals)

her pranks are always to create a good atmosphere, not to aggravate people

sometimes expectations to be brave and self-assured can be too much for her fellow house-mates, so chaeyoung takes the role of making them feel safe and helping them relax

one time she actually tripped over one them and broke her shin

but luckily, professor sprout (aka her best friend) helped her through it with some medicinal herbs and long conversations about plants

which would entail that tzuyu was born a bird but somehow turned into a human

tzuyu actually drew her one time and mina just about melted of embarrassment and pride and happiness because tzuyu? just drew a picture of her? and it makes her feel so cool and magical?

those three have the sweetest relationship, you can always find them cooing about the cats together (while holding the cats themselves)

has an obsession with the whomping willow

always sits next to it after she managed to tame it

reads and does her studies there

is undisturbed and loves it

knows all the staircases for some reason, like has given them names and nobody knows how she’s memorized them all

but if you’re ever lost, jisoo will appear out of nowhere to help

spends most of her time in the library, but also excels at quidditch? and makes it to all of the practices? like jennie stop being so talented (but please don’t we love it)

they act tormented but when have cats ever been honest when they like something a human is doing for them

almost all of her friends are in gryffindor :) except for lia, who is arguably the most chaotic but stops them from doing anything too dumb

yeji is a chaser on the gryffindor quidditch team (we been knew) and scores so much the point keeper (?) loses count

definitely has a cat

who snuggles with her in the common room and everyone wants to cry over how cute they both are

except she’s pretty quiet in class, except for her maniacal laughing at chaeryeong sometimes

a beater, always protects yeji and she loves it, always getting flustered over ryujin

even though ryu’s been doing it for years (however the winks she throws in yeji’s directions would make anyone falter)

the best in class at defense against the dark arts

got her patronus, a black bear, within a few minutes after learning the lesson

and everyone was like 👀 but honestly not that surprised, because come on it’s shin ryujin herself!

shows off her skills (in everything she attempts) all the time and everyone loves it

in general very well liked, her vibe is so comforting and realistic, and she always says the rights things

chae was so annoyed with this honestly, i mean she’s trying to be this cool light academia ravenclaw and her patronus is an ostrich...

everyone laughed at her disappointing patronus, but chaeryeong didn’t care, she was actually beginning to love its uniqueness

throughout the school, chae is known for her adorably caring personality akin to a hufflepuff along with her wisdom

she helps everyone :(

friends with everyone despite being introverted

probably eats lunch with professor flitwick

she’s just too nice

her aesthetic, as i said, is light academia and she pulls it off so well

organizes all the chants at quidditch games

fred and george but one person

the gryffindor common room is in absolute chaos whenever she’s present

her laugh is contagious and can be heard all throughout the dorms, creating a beautiful sense of togetherness and happiness

keeps everyone’s faith in humanity

the loudest at al the quidditch games

teases her friends 100% of the time but will always hug and comfort them when they’re down

can make anyone smile within a few seconds

now, she’s actually friends with the people in the painting

and they have (maybe) forgiven her for smacking into their tea table and ruining their lunch

(which they’ve been eating for years but jiwon did not mention that)

changes positions every single year for some reason (she’s such an ace)

because she has BIG TALENT

loves being a seeker the most (obviously, because she gets all the glory and she’s a leo with a scorpio mars)

has a black cat with the exact same personality as her

one time it ate her ramen and boy was she mad

but the cat, who was named orange (despite not being orange) really liked the noodles

so jiwon convinced sihyeon to let her make feline-friendly noodles for the cat

which sihyeon agreed to

because seeing orange slurp up a bowl of noodles really makes her day

is professor mcgonagall’s child

i mean not literally, but still

eunji has been taken under her wing

in fact, she actually taught mia how to be a metamorphmagus

eunji managed to turn into a badger

which wasn’t exactly enjoyable at first, since being a badger doesn’t have many benefits other than being able to dig a hole faster than anybody you know

however, eunji used her badger form as a way to relax, because she could escape from all her problems by turning into a woodland animal and going to take a comfy nap in some flowers

her friends were ecstatic when she told them she had become a badger

e:u immediately made her morph into said animal so she could give mia a hug because fluffy

accompanies jiwon to the kitchen most days and prevents her from getting bored with her antics

these “antics” involve things like crouching on the counter next to jiwon and crunching down on carrots

to which jiwon just shakes her head and pulls the carrot right out of her mouth

loves the toads! she has a speckled one and treasures it with all her heart

steals jiwon’s pastries to feed to them

serim is also always in different places

she’s completely unpredictable, moving all around the school throughout the day

you can’t find her in the same place twice (except for the kitchens)

everyone thinks she’s part fairy because of this and her compassion

spends all her time daydreaming while looking up at the sky from the observatory

i don’t blame her, it does have an exquisite view and even sports a bunch of cushions and blankets on the floor for the sole purpose of taking naps in the sun like a cat

anyways, yoorim is lost in her head most of the time

but always takes a trip back to reality during the day, where’s spotted encouraging her friends 24/7

and laughing nonstop at them

(especially sihyeon)

because while she’s a ravenclaw, loved ones are the most important things in her life

joins aisha in her imagining sprees up in the observatory

but gets bored and leaves to go sneak into the slytherin common rooms because she wants to spot the giant squid

who she has made friends with from her constant trips to see it

its name is jerry, for anyone who’s wondering

the slytherins have adopted her as one of their one

and yiren takes great pride in it

because she now has a massive posse of people ready to protect her from anyone who would dare to make her sad

i mean some of it is because she wants to be a good role model, but she really just doesn’t care at this point

sakura definitely makes a name for herself cheering at all the quidditch games

and with the fact that she won the triwizard tournament!

keeps the cup in the gyrffindor common rooms

because she sees it as something the house should be proud of, not just sakura

so sweet i can not with her

actually didn’t bring a pet and now regrets it

but she’s busy so she wouldn’t have time to care ofr it

the seventh years surrounded her on her first day because of her “must protect” energy

and the fact that her toad escaped as soon as she came through the door

which resulted in school-wide panic

they found the toad luckily

well, it actually came running back to hyewon

for some reason, it actually bit her! which made her laugh

the devious amphibian apparently had a habit for escaping, which hyewon learned about after multiple attempts from it at running away

which never worked

because hyewon would get so sad and said toad would feel bad

thus meaning it would turn around and bound back to hyewon

immediately fell in love with hogwarts once she saw the great hall

one, because it was full of food

and two, because it’s so pretty! and the starts reflect on the ceiling! and magic!

tried to bond with the sorting hat

and it most likely worked because she is choi yena and can do things like that

a social butterfly without realizing it, everyone wants to talk to her all at the same time and she is b i g s t r e s s e d

helps with homework even if she has no idea what she’s doing

it aides her in picking up the subject because no that she’s having to explain it it clicks in her mind

her bright energy and happy-go-lucky charm made her a friend magnet, everyone wanted to be her bestie

wins every single lottery/game/anything that involves chance

her nicknames is felix felicis (i hope i’m spelling that right)

racks up all the house points because the professors can’t help but praise her for everything

and she deserves it to, always running around helping others

surprised the class and left everyone open-mouthed with her quidditch skills

had no idea she was so good, but after a while begins to take a lot of pride in her talent

the sorting hat considered slytherin for chaewon, but decided against it

which may seem like an odd combination, but it wasn’t uncommon

befriends all the slytherins and has them head over heels in love with her

same with the gryffindors

in fact, chaewon doesn’t know actually know many hufflepuffs, she’s always gotten along better with the other houses

joins vivi in at night whenever she’s in the astronomy tower

has an admirable amount of ravenclaw friends and has practically become one at this point

goes in the common room all the time because she can figure out the riddles

smh their security system really isn’t that good

becomes obsessed with random subjects

has a different best class every year

comes up with her own spells

hogsmeade weekends are her favorite :(

and minju stuffs herself with butterbeer every time

eunbi’s the only person who can keep her in check

but nako really takes the cake

because no one can look at her adorable smile and not think she’s the cutest human to ever exist

drew on the walls of the hufflepuff dorms because she accidentally drank a potion yuri had been brewing

which caused her to go loopy and delirious

eunbi was summoned and forced to tuck nako into bed so she could sleep it off

lights up the room whenever she walks in

everybody swears that the candles actually brighten whenever nako appears

loves the ravenclaw tower with all her heart :(

almost fainted when she first saw it because of how pretty it was

peak house spirit

ravenclaw only wins the house cup if hitomi has a good year

because she’s just so happy to be a ravenclaw and all the teachers are like yeh hitomi yeh and give her lots of points

became a prefect the first chance she got

doens’t get anyone in trouble though

but no one takes any chances because they don’t want to disappoint her

spends half her time concocting liquids to do a bunch of (benevolent) things

has suspicious stains on her robes

nobody questions it

because she’s a ravenclaw, which means she will feel extremely put off at any sort of accusatory remarks and you won’t be able to understand her answer because of her big brain words

jumps 10 feet in the air if you interrupt her magic

screams too

makes you swear to never tell anyone

but it’s happened to everyone so at this point it’s just common knowledge

a beater for gryffindor and goes beast mode whenever ravenclaw is playing

because for some reason they make her eye twitch

even if she’s friends with a bunch of them

she’s still just BIG GRR

spends all of her itme in the gryffindor common room

greets everyone when they come in

is on a first-name basis with the entire school and no one knows how she can remember them all

and she’s so sweet to people? how does she deal with it

whenever she comes in the room there’s a chorus of “ahn yujin, the woman, the myth, the legend!”

thought the common room actually had badgers in it

and was extremely disappointed when she found out they didn’t

haseul felt bad seeing wonyoung’s sadness and invited her on a badger hunt

they found two

and bonded with them by feeing them food

i don’t know what badgers eat so i won’t specify

but the badgers followed the two home and now the hufflepuff house has two pet badgers

wonyoung takes great pride in that accomplishment

even more than when she (effortlessly) won the triwizard tournament in her sixth year

super into astronomy and astrology

will stare at the stars all night

has seven telescopes and has no shame

seems quiet at first, but the ravenclaw dorms are always filled with the sound of her laughter (even at 3 in the morning)

daydreams in class all the time

and is confused over everything

but still makes it through with her sweet personality

fell off a broom the first time she ever got on one

because she was so busy watching the instructor that she didn’t realize her head was tilted so far to the side that it unbalanced her and caused her to slip off her broom

snako right here wanted to play quidditch her whole life

but sadly, she wasn’t too good at it

however, yves soon realized her true talent transfiguration

seriously, she can change anything into anything

zapped lippie into a mouse one time

professor mcgonagall was not happy

just kidding she was ecstatic and gave sooyoung a detention to teach her how to perfect her skills on turning people into mice

just not jungeun

holds a grudge against the gryffindor quidditch team but won’t ever admit it

but everybody knows

but it’s okay, because sooyoung can get away with anything (and no one wants to be turned into a mouse)

famous for winning the triwizard tournament

because first of all, she didn’t even want to apply, yves and heejin had forced her to as a joke because there was no way she was going to be picked

but low and behold, she was picked

and somehow managed to win every task with pure luck

(and an ungodly amount of encouragement from chuu)

this has made everyone scared of her

which she doesn’t mind a lot of times, because it’s nice to be left alone

and she can easily filter out peole she doesn’t want in her life

but still

to people who aren’t aware of her winnings

she’s about as terrifying as a duck eating lettuce

overworked as the head of house but deals with it because she loves taking care of her fellow puffies

i miss her so much

was on the quidditch team at some point

she can’t remember when

third year maybe

her first four years went by in a blur

she was so enveloped in her studies and loved learning about magic with all her heart

100% got a job at the ministry once she finished her seventh year

there was zero question when choosing the head of house for hufflepuff

everyone immediately nominated haseul

The Scary Ravenclaw TM

no one messes with her or her posse

a beast at magic has legit something like an 8.0 GPA

everyone’s like jungeun that is hecking impossible

not for her apparently

whipped for all the hufflepuffers and is known to trudge into their common room whenever she’s grumpy

because she knows at least sixteen people will volunteer to hug her

(preferably chuu is in that group)

denies it though

like heck no i hate hugs what are you talking about

the definition of a hufflepuff

was the talk of the school the first day because of how big of an impact her positivity and cheerfulness made

she turns heads and doesn’t even notice it😔

didn’t bring a pet, surprisingly

but steals everyone else’s

no one bothers to reprimand her whenever their cat disappears and is found cuddled up next to chuu

because honestly if i was a cat that’s what i would do

her patronus is probably something like a pufferfish

which she thought was the best thing ever

because “it goes poof whenever i stop the spell!”

A CHASER FOR GRYFFINDOR AND EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG IS WHIPPED FOR HOW WELL SHE PLAYS QUIDDITCH

acts like she struggles with school but is actually top of her class

spends a bunch of time with her professors because she loves talking to them

such a libra smh

brought a toad

was so embarrassed at first but is now shameless

about the fact that yes, she does kiss her toad on the forehead before she leaves for school each morning

even if most of the time she keeps the toad in her pocket all day because she doesn’t want to leave it alone

head owl caretaker

spends all of her time with hagrid :(

there are multiple stains on the floor from when they’re drinking tea together and hyunjin does something that makes them both spit out their drinks in laughter

fang cleans it up though

the animals are her favorite thing

created a spell to remove fur/hair from her clothes because she gets bad allergies

steals whole loaves of bread from the kitchens

the cooks turn a blind eye

has eaten all the crackers in the kitchen in one go

no one was really mad (except for jiwon) because how could you be upset with her?

her crunchy voice is adorable, even if she’s lying and blaming it all on yeojin

does her own thing most of the time

one of those people who will memorize 1800 spells but tell no one

and then shows everything off at the perfect moment

loves watching quidditch

will go to the practices just to see people play, she’s that enamored

a HUGE fan of the chudley cannons

stole their badgers one time because she wanted to test the theory of “hufflepuffs are good finders”

they would have found their pets

but were too scared to accuse choerry

even if they knew it was her

choerry felt bad and sneakily returned the truffle-hunters during the night

she heard chuu disgruntledly ranting to haseul about how rude it was to steal some poor defenseless badgers

she turned them invisible shortly after that for another prank

but gowon exposed her

yerim’s never forgiven her for it

the sweetest slytherin you’ll ever meet

loves to sit in the common room and stare at the water in the lake

but always gets scared by people walking in

even though she’s used to it because it happens every 10 minutes

but it’s still

wanted to be on the quidditch team so bad when she was younger but now does not see the point she would much rather sit in the charms room and make up dumb spells with chuu

professor flitwick helps them

and always has cupcakes on handy

no one suspects her because she looks and acts to sweet to do anything

but despite their “fair play” thing going on

hufflepuffs are the best jokers you’ll find

yeojin has started a pranking service

makes a bunch of money off it

enough to buy all 11 of her besties bags of candy at hogsmeade

(along with getting herself one because she deserves it)

i put her in gryffindor at first because aries

but she really has the personality of a ravenclaw :)

and she definitely brought an eagle/hawk to school

convinced everyone it was an owl

i mean no one really thought it was an owl because it obviously was a different kind of bird

how the heck do you take away someone’s bird and prevent it from going back to them?

and where do you put it?

that was karina’s plan

she knew no one could outsmart her

the riddle thingo at the entrance to the ravenclaw dorms was very proud of her

the sorting hat spent five hours deciding on whether to put giselle in slytherin or hufflepuff

i’m exaggerating but you get the picture

because she values all of the things that the houses represent?!

Secretly hates watching you cry, he hates it when you back away from him out of sheer terror for his next move, he hates hearing you scream his name through a locked door, hates hearing your strained voice beg him to stop, hates the sound of you retching in the bathroom at two in the morning, he hates seeing the countless scars that mar your soft skin when he commands you to shower with him, he hates the sound of your whimpers and sharp cries as he spanks/whips you without mercy, and he hates the coppery smell of your blood when he came home from work one evening to find you with a knife sunk deep into your abdomen

As the person backs off, he’ll go right back into loving boyfriend mode, asking you if you’re ok and supplying you with a comforting hug

Book two: earth seems to be your favorite from ATLA and it’s my absolute favorite season too. I love hearing reasons why people loved season two so I wanted to ask you what about book two stands out to you?

The narrative propulsion! Sure, it starts a bit slow (”The Cave of Two Lovers” spends too much time on a fairly nothing plot, I lowkey hate “Avatar Day” except for the Kyoshi flashback and the final gag, and I think “The Swamp” is boring, unnecessary foreshadowing), but once we hit “The Blind Bandit” -- which, I should point out, introduces Toph who is one of the most delightful characters in fiction -- it’s a straight-up solid run all the way to the finale.

I’ve said this on ASN back in the day, but Book Earth is outright one of best balances between a continuing narrative and episodic content on all of TV. Except for the episodes I mentioned in my aside, every episode moves the story along in some way, whether it be by advancing the plot, implementing character growth, revealing important context to characters or the setting, or some combination of all three. Every episode leads into the next, but every episode is also perfectly watchable on its own. Even the ‘two-parters’ are made up of two perfectly functional standalone episodes! That’s just showing off!

In comparison, Book Water and Book Fire tread water for much of their seasons. I’m still not sure why the gAang is traveling through the Fire Nation in the beginning of Book Fire, and Book Water is stuck in the ‘going north’ mode even after big revelations like the return of Sozin’s Comet: “Aang, you have a time limit on your subplot now, so keep doing exactly what you were doing before this episode!” Book Earth is the only one in AtLA that can be summarized as “This leads to this leads to this leads to this leads to...” And everything builds on what came before, leading to a weighty climax.

Book Earth also expands the cast. Literally the only regular who doesn’t return from Book Water is Zhao, and then it adds Toph, Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee. Suki and Jet get to come back from one-off appearances as more interesting characters with good subplots. But, despite all that, the returning main characters don’t suffer from the growth of the ensemble. Aang, Katara, Zuko, and Iroh all get deeper characterization and great chances for growth. Even Appa, the Clever Animal Sidekick, gets an episode devoted to him as a character!

I left Sokka out of there his is a bit of a unique situation; his character shifts into a completely different archetype over the course of the entire series, starting from the Stick-In-The-Mud comic relief to the Wacky-Sidekick comic relief. Now, he does get quickly developed as more than just comic relief, and he as a great character arc over the course of the series, but that shift in tones of his comedy does make for an odd feel. I mention that, though, only to point out that Book Earth is where is in that transition state between “No bathroom breaks!” and “Enemy birds!”, and that state is where he’s at his best. He’s still a bit of a no-fun guy, but he also spends an episode obsessing over whether to buy himself a nice bag, and then there’s the time he tried to feed Momo to a sea-serpent to save his own skin. Sokka hits that wonderful, charismatic happy medium in Book Earth.

But lets get back to the new characters. Toph. Need I say more? Azula. One of the greatest antagonists in fiction ever, IMO. Mai and Ty Lee. Fun minibosses who turn out to have characters deserving of a lot more screentime. And there’s even a new min-villain in the form of Long Feng, who’s perfectly despicable to a greater degree than Zhao, is the antagonist for one of the best sub-arcs in the series, and even has an interesting psychology and backstory that could have gotten more time. Book Earth was striking gold with every new character it brought in, one after another.

And, all that stuff aside, the writing is just so good. Zuko Alone? Appa’s Lost Days? Tale of Iroh? You could show that to people who have no idea about the whole rest of AtLA and I guarantee they would have their hearts broken. Everything else (again, aside from those three episodes I mentioned as not liking) is also super solid, with plenty of charm, fully functional arcs, great character interplay, some of the best action scenes on television ever, and plenty of human interest.

And then there’s that finale! It’s the perfect mix of counter-intuitive (no one expects Zuko to side with Azula) and perfectly logical (once we stop and think about, there was really no other satisfying way to show that Zuko has grown beyond the rewards he was being offered).

Of course, I do have to give credit to Book Water laying the foundations for all of this. Without introducing the great main cast and the well-defined, interesting setting, Book Earth would have nowhere to go. Book Fire is a bit shaggy, but it absolutely pays off on everything that was set up, so we can enjoy Zuko’s betrayal and know that he’ll eventually get on the right path. The Star Wars sequel trilogy shows how a bad ending can destroy everything that came before, and LoK shows what happens when the proper groundwork isn’t done for the characters or story. Book Earth gets to shine because it’s where the story can go wild and have fun, because all the pressure is off its shoulders.

Also, I have a soft spot for this season because the very first episode of AtLA that I encountered was the last ten minutes of “Lake Laogai.”

Let me tell you: Jet’s death gives a very interesting first impression of the series.

Why I Don’t Like Ochako Uraraka as a Character

Before I get eaten alive, let me start by saying that there is nothing inherently wrong with Uraraka, per se, and there’s nothing wrong with other people liking her. I just feel that as a female lead character she’s sort of bland. About the only traits of interest with her is that she’s a hero in training for the money, and she has a competitive streak that only rarely comes out to play. Aside from those two things, she doesn’t really have any other traits that make her stand out from any other generic female love interest character. She’s generally nice and sweet but that’s about it. We’re allowed to know and understand other characters better.

Compare Uraraka to say Midoriya, Iida, and Bakugo. These boys make up a part of what could be considered the “main cast” of characters, and with all of them, you have a very strong idea not only of who they are, but why they are that way. Midoriya is so kind and sweet because he knows how awful unkind words and actions can hurt, and he chooses to keep trying no matter how much he fails. That optimistic outlook is what makes him compelling. But then we also know that he’s a total fanboy, studious, analytical, he mutters to himself. These are character quirks that make him more distinguished from other characters. Iida is a strict, rule-abiding, and serious person. He looks up to and idolizes his big brother, and when that pillar of respect and admiration was tarnished by Stain, we saw Iida completely break character as he spiraled down a dark path. If you pay attention to Bakugo, you can start to piece together why he’s always so angry as his frustrations of no longer being the biggest fish in a small pond, especially once it’s clear that a big part of his bad attitude about strength and winning he learned from his possibly (and unintentionally) abusive mother. These are all strong characters with magnetizing and compelling personalities and backstories. We know their inner thoughts and the demons that rummage through their heads. We know where they’re weak and what they need to improve upon. But when we look at Uraraka, there’s not much else to unpack. She has a competitive streak that we don’t really know where she gets it from, and she wants money to support her family, but we’re not really shown explicitly why she has such a strong bond to her family.

Now some may be saying “Well what’s wrong with being nice?” and the easy answer is, nothing. There are some great characters whose primary character trait is kindness. But There are ways of writing these characters that don’t feel so flat.

Katara

Avatar: The Last Airbender

On the surface, Katara is a lot like Uraraka. She’s generally sweet, kind, and helpful. She is a mom type friend who takes care of others and usually follows her heart. So is the difference that Katara is just a better fighter? No, not at all. The reason Katara is better written is because she’s flawed. She can be selfish, bossy, stubborn, and proud. She was allowed to have multiple dimensions. She got angry, she had bad moods. She could go from sweet to threatening in a snap if she needed to, and she wasn’t just cute. She was clever. She was allowed to be more complex than just “the nice girl”, and that made her far more relatable and likable. In fact, some of the darkest moments come from Katara. In the episode “the Southern Raiders”, Katara becomes obsessed with tracking down the man who killed her mother. While interogating a man, she uses bloodbending for the first and only time since learning it from Hama to torture information out of a sea captain. Even though she doesn’t end up taking her revenge out on him, she also never forgives the man for what he did. She will always hate him, but she decides not to waste her time hurting him. The only real flaw in Uraraka is that she gets aggressive when she’s in a competitive spirit, which is more of a character trait than an actual flaw.

Steven Universe

The entire show of Steven Universe is centered around the emotional and mental growth of Steven. And while he’s matured into a more responsible and take charge person, he has done so while maintaining his core character traits of kindness, compassion, and sensitivity. However, this doesn’t stand in the way of giving his character a deeply dark emotional patchwork of problems and internalized issues to work through. Steven is a compelling character because despite everything he’s been through, he continues to find a reason to smile, he continues to look for a more merciful path, and he tries to reach out to help everyone he can. Uraraka doesn’t really have a story. She has a motivation, wanting to make enough money to support her parents, but that’s about all of the narrative development Uraraka has gotten.

Starfire Teen Titans

Starfire served as the emotional core of her team. Whether it was resolving bickering, or suggesting group activities, Starfire was the glue holding the team together. In fact, there’s even an episode dedicated to showing that without Starfire, they all lost touch, stopped being friends, and ended up miserable and alone. But Starfire was a lot more than that as well. She was a constant source of comedy due to her fish out of water humor, and she was for more than just “the alien babe”. One of the best things about Starfire was just how expressive and enthusiastic she’d get every time she discovered something new about the Earth, or tried to introduce Tamaranean culture to her Earth friends. Her powers were fueled by emotions, and not just pleasant cutesy ones either. Her alien strength required boundless confidence, and her starbolts were fueled by righteous fury. Starfire was extremely reactive to the world around her. She had a great deal of emotional depth to her. In the simplest terms, Starfire was interesting. She was always saying something weird, or making unusual observations. The writers had a lot of fun with making her alien biology weird and even a little gross, but it never once detracted from the fact that she was Robin’s love interest, because he liked her regardless of those charming quirks. Next to her, Uraraka pales in comparison. We don’t know any of Uraraka’s interests or what excites her. We don’t know what she cares about or what embarrassing mistakes she’s made. There’s no attempt to really make her memorable or distinct. Uraraka is just treated as this pristine porcelain figuring completely devoid of blemishes or dents that could have a very charming story behind them.

I honestly wouldn’t really be able to list more than a small handful of personality traits, most of which are practically synonyms. She’s just kind of flat and perfect. It doesn’t really work to make her endearing. She lacks the flaws that would make her feel real, a role in the story that would allow her grow and mature, and there’s nothing about her that makes her memorable and endearing. If she wasn’t the main female lead, she’d probably be the most forgettable girl in the class. Froppy has a very distinct look, Momo has a presence in the plot, Ashido has a strong personality and recognized flaws in her bad grades, Jirou is a bit lowkey but has a distinct style that sets her apart, a love for music, and a good singing voice. Even Hagakure stands out because she’s invisible, which is a memorable character quirk. Of the five, Uraraka has the least reason to really stand out or be remembered. Maybe she’ll grow a stronger personality in later seasons, but as she is right now, Uraraka doesn’t really have much to offer as a character. But these are just my opinions, and if you like Uraraka you’re free to love her as much as you can muster. But as far as I’m concerned, these are my problems with her lack of character.

Pancho

•Julien; Julien is like a brother or cousin to Pancho! He trusts the king more than anything after Julien basically saved .. well himself, but also him. any scheme Julien comes up with that he knows Maurice wouldnt approve of, he’ll go to pancho

•Maurice; maurice has a kind of wary vibe around Pancho ever since Pancho suggested eating him on the sub in exiled. he’s suspicious of him mainly because he wants to protect Julien tho, & he cant shake that Pancho is (or was) a sleeper agent programmed with the sole purpose of killing his best friend so

•Clover: Pancho is kinda cautious around clover since she’s always round the corner ready to bust him & Andy’s schemes. when it comes down to it they DO work together as they aknowledge each others skillsets. literally pancho is the only lemur (from the kingdom) who’s beaten Clover in combat. just once though.

•Mort; Pancho just......aknowlegdes his existance. he’s there i guess. doesn’t find mort as terrifying & creepy as the average citizen but Panch has probably seen worse. or he just doesn’t care. mort also does crimes so theyre just aware of each other.

•Becca & Abner; he’s kinda friends with them cus Andy’s friends with them. he goes round to deliver them stuff sometimes like moonshine or weapons from Andy. He probably shouldn’t pay too much attention to their government conspiracy theories though, they tend to really freak his paranoid ass out

•Timo; Timo is scared of Pancho or at least wary. He admittadly would like to study him tho & Panch is often a great help to him doing manual labour for any of Timo’s big projects

•Masikura; she mindmelded with him once & swore never again. she just doesn’t wanna know.

•Ted; Ted has a lil crush on Pancho (he’s one of Ted’s many crushes) & Panch will lightly flirt with him sometimes when he’s in the mood to. Pancho will bicker & grouch with him but they are really tight friends especially after their time together during exiled.

•Dorothy; at first she saw Pancho as this ideal bad boy type, but then realised how bad he smells cus he hates bathing. She’ll offer him tea like she does with everyone & (begrudingly often) lets him crash with her & Ted when they all stumble back drunk after a night out. Literally her & Ted both just have a mutual crush on Pancho is that not canon though

•Willie; despite being mean to Willie like EVERYONE ELSE IS Pancho and Willie are quite good friends. He’ll go stay with him whenever he’s worried about something cus he knows Willie will understand. sometime’s he’s too panicky for Pancho to be around though cus it sets him off

•Hector; I WANT THEM TO BOND OVER MILITARY HARDSHIPS & EXPERIENCE I THINK IT WOULD BE HELPFUL & HEALING FOR THE BOTH OF THEM! I should write about this sometime..........

•Horst; the DJ friend who he can always have a crazy sesh with; they actually get along pretty good. except when Pancho’s out here stealing his bolos. Like with everyone, Horst just rambles to Pancho when he’s drunk.

•Tammy, Butterfish & Todd; no real connection to them besides that him & Butterfish will often do the same jobs. They usually just make casual work chat. Tammy thinks Pancho is posessed by demons but he doesn’t let that phase him.

•Karl: he’s not rlly a “kingdom citizen” but he’s about there enough so. anyway Pancho just doesn’t treat Karl like the evil genius villain he portrays at all, since Pancho’s own morality is in the grey area, which kinda infuriates Karl that Pancho just talks to him like hes a normal person. he wants Julien’s people to FEAR HIM!!

•Dr. S; Absolutely not. they don’t even really have a friendship of any kind & Pancho is terrified of going to see the doctor as Dr. S literally experiments on lemurs...he’s not about that after what happened with the previous king.......Andy often has to drag him to the hospital kicking & biting to get him to go to checkups

•Nurse Phantom; u know what they’ve never interacted in canon but I think Nurse Phantom senses how troubled & anxious he is & takes a lot of time to talk to Pancho like if ever Andy or anyone else manages to drag him to the hospital, Rob will hold his hand if it comes to it; he goes into major helpful mode like offering him fruit & telling him he’s gonna be alright. He’ll also scold him for getting into so many dangerous scrapes & tells him he’s gotta look after himself!

Andy

•Julien; for some reason Julien just refuses to exile him even after all the bad shit he’s done BUT i think that’s because Andy is overall helpful to him like he ignores all the weirdness for example when they walked in on him & that rat holding a body wrapped in leaves because hey! we need tropheys Andy fast! thats the issue here!! perhaps its Julien’s awful adhd memory though & he just genuinely forgets. Julien is close with Pancho of course so Andy’s been round to the plane for parties & dinner as Pancho’s +1 of sorts— heck even he can be “polite” when he has to be.

•Maurice; Momo hates him. hates him hates him theres no turning back. i mean its hard not to when most of the citizens suffer from rediculous lemur stupidity & ur the only one who can see through this bat when he’s just standing there chatting shit. Very suspicious of Andy— plus he just thinks he’s creepy

•clover; LMAO bUT .....like obviously she hates him for good reason. but i do have this hc that’s way too long to write out that after Julien, Maurice & Mort literally fucked off to go with the zoosters in madagascar 2 Clover was literally responsible for two kingdoms cus she couldnt just leave them with a gecko in charge. I just want some situation where theres a proper twist & Andy ends up mellowing the hell out & actually being useful to her & the kingdom...he has skills but he uses them for nefarious reasons. She’d probably save his life somehow in the post-Julien chaos & he’d b like....”why would YOU of all people save ME?” n she’d b like... “well you are technically a citizen of this kingdom and ....i’ve gotta make sure you’re ALL safe for when ..... if King Julien ever gets back.....”

•mort; ??? sometimes theyre legit business partners. Mort can get in on a good scam. that second rub’s gonna cost ya. theyve probably been in the same prison before at one point. Mort’s so old.

•Becca & Abner; his fellow anti-establishment pals!! he doesn’t fully believe all of their ideas & theories but he loves em cus they’ll always buy self defence scorps off him. They get along & they drink a lot together by the stagnant watering hole. they’ve seen Andy in horrible states; all 3 of them are an idiot squad when theyre together. Becca & Andy argue a lot cus even she thinks some of the things he says are wack sometimes

•Timo; i have this hc that Timo, Andy & Karl knew each other when they were kids they kinda bonded together during school cus they were three non-lemur losers who got bullied for their eccentricity & varying levels of intelligence. Timo will sometimes go to Andy for stuff but he is his last resort really

•Ted; Ted is such an easy mark he can sell almost anything to him if he’s cheery enough. Helps that Ted thinks he’s really cute so Andy can just easily sweet talk him into buying whatever dodgy product he’s got at the moment. he knows & interacts with Ted mainly through Pancho being his friend!

•Dorothy; rlly wild hc actually that Dorothy used to be a propper crime don before she settled down with Ted— or when Ted was shifting into Snake more frequently back in the day for whatever reason—so Andy knows her from the criminal underworld. Cus of this he’s very respectful towards her... he’s seen what she’s capable of

•Willie; Andy could walk round the corner with his wings outstretched & say “boo” & Willie would pass out from shock. He’s also very easy for Andy to sell to- his fearmongering really works on Willie he’s very suseptable to it

•Hector; Hector doesn’t take any of Andy’s crap he’d probably just hit him with a broom if he came round his hut to sell him dodgy hand cream honestly

•Horst; Andy keeps him topped up with a steady supply of beverages...........Horst will actually sometimes ask him & Pancho for help with importing various new vinyl records

•Tammy, Butterfish & Todd; that family buys a LOT of product off him since they’re just typical americans basically he finds it rlly easy & reliable to sell stuff like drinks & toys to them. Tammy kinda hates Andy though & like Pancho, thinks he’s a demon. Doesn’t help that Mort nicknamed him “bird demon”.

•Karl; like with Timo i hc he knew him when they were in highschool—! Karl found Andy infuriating & so annoying though & didn’t consider him a friend at all. a lot of his early lazer guns were born from Karl’s growing need to shoot Andy out of the sky cus he’d fly up to get out of reach of his claws when he’d annoyed him.

•Dr. S; i hc that Andy and Dr.S are business or trading partners of sorts but they keep it very lowkey. Andy probably handles hits and the crazy snake doctor requires bodies and “test subjects” for his manic experiments. Andy is the perfect guy for the job! When Nurse Phantom is unable, Andy will hide the evidence of Dr.S’ malpractice for a reasonable fee, of course. He dislikes going to checkups himself though— he doesn’t like people knowing too much about him! Plus Dr.S always “””jokes””” about “””studying””” him because he finds the fact Andy is a flying mammal facinating & talks about using Andy’s wings to create a frankenstein flying lemur.

•Nurse Phantom; Rob just lectures him about being reckless & getting into fights everytime he sees him. Kinda the same as Dr. S really, but he does tell him like.. Hey I used to be pretty mean & put people in danger too. And that there’s always time to turn another leaf. Andy usually just scoffs, collects his paycheck, & leaves.

can I request headcanons for the 1A kids helping out at a soup kitchen or a shelter or something similar? it's such a pure way to help people and very fitting for heroes in training I think!

Since Aizawa thought that some students *cough* Bakugou *cough* needed to humble themselves, he suggested it might be a good idea to make them work in a Soup Kitchen for a whole week, to learn some gratitude and humanity.

Please ignore all the logic gaps I shamefully have to admit I’ve never worked at a soup kitchen before. :/

Iida:

- Is probably the most motivated of them all, obviously.

- Will use his speed to go grocery shopping. He doesn’t need to since they have food donations at the location, but he wants to contribute something. Uses his own money.

- The fate of some of the people in need really touches him, and he admires and respects everyone working here in their free time.

- Will probably work here again later on, or at least donate tons of money when he’s a pro hero.

Momo:

- Will use her quirk to make new kitchen equipment for the cooks.

- Isn’t really used to this kind of cooking. At home she gets much more fine and delicate food, and never has to cook for herself. Doesn’t know any simple recipes because she never intended to make food with her quirk anyway since it’s kinda weird.

- Knows the Soup Kitchen because she forced her rich parents to donate money here ever since she was a kid and realized some kids at school have a way harder time than she herself has.

Todoroki:

- His ice has many uses, from being used in drinks to keep some indigrents fresh. Even manages to make Slush Ice for the kids.

- The smile a little girl gives him when she thanks him makes his heart melt. It reminds him so much of his sister.

- Feels bad for it but actually admires some of the families there. They may not have much, but they’re holding together and are very affectionate with each other. Unlike his own.

Bakugo:

- Is skilled in basically anything, from slicing indigrents to seasoning it and so on. Everyone always asks for his help and opinion.

- To be honest, his mother told him to fuck off and cook his own meals pretty early in his life. Doesn’t understand why some of the other students can’t take care of themselves. “How petty”.

- Acts like he doesn’t give a shit about all the compliments he receives by his classmates and the guests but he’ll still think about it way later.

- Gives the smaller, weaker children and woman bigger portions and anyone who calls him out gets to feel his rage.

Koda:

- Is a vegetarian for obvious reasons. Freaks out every time he even sees people handling with meat. How could they even?!

- So he tries to stay away from the kitchen and help in the dining room, or cleans up the dishes.

- He comes a bit after the cooking is done because he doesn’t like such an intense smell of meat, but stays longer to clean up.

Uraraka:

- Helps making chests and other heavy things lighter for transport, using her quirk.

- Can’t cook for god’s sake, but helps with decorating the food on the plates with much love.

- Her parents once had to go to a Soup Kitchen, too, when the times were really hard. So it’s not easy to bear with the sight for her, but that’s only more reason to give it her best!

- Knows many locations persons with financial problems can get help at, and is glad to inform people.

Mineta:

- Tries to hit on every female person, may it be another voluntee or a guest.

- Isn’t that much of a help in the beginning because he’s busy creeping around and trying to get under the skirts of the girls.

- Probably only will be portioning the soup on the plates, but isn’t allowed to talk to any of the guests. Constant supervision.

- The others will try to keep him from sneaking outside so he won’t bother the guests.

Sato:

- Oh my god this boy is a master chief. Everything he cooks is delicious so he’ll do the main work.

- Also makes some extra sweets for the children.

- Actually donates his food very often. Bakes tons of cakes for a hospiece once a month and so on.

- Insists on helping the others to carry heavy stuff but they want him to stay in the kitchen and keep up his good work.

Tokoyami:

- Can literally do twice the work since Dark Shadow helps him. Will probably be cutting indigrents or carrying plates to the guests.

- Is the perfect guy to reach for high places like shelves with his quirk.

- Dark Shadow is really struggling against it because it’s constantly depressed that it itself isn’t able to eat or taste.

- But the children there will love his birdy face and also Dark Shadow so they both cooperate in presenting small tricks to make the children laugh.

Tsuyu:

- Her tongue can reach for stuff throughout the whole room. It’s good because sometimes people cannot walk because the kitchen is so small and crowded.

- Is really talented with cooking and also dealing with children since she had to provide for her smaller siblings the whole time.

- Will still prefer making kid’s meals and bringing it to them herself, since she’s so invested in caring for them and assuring they are fine.

- Gets easily flustered whenever someone tells her what a great job she’s doing.

Mina:

- Is really good at knowing human nature. She can tell anyone what task they should be doing considering their abilities and preferences.

- Will split the teams so everyone works with people they like and are well to cooperate with.

- Has so many positive vibes and is so happy this whole time so no one really feels like they’re working.

- She herself doesn’t even do much of the work she’s just cheering at everyone to do their best until Aizawa scolds her. No one was mad at her to be the motivational support tho.

Jiro:

- She’ll be playing some nice music so it’ll feel like fun whenever she’s around.

- Can cut with her sharp earlobes but it always gets messy.

- Will be asking the guests for music suggestions and ends up making the best mood! Feels like a party started! The long-time volunteers said the people there never smiled so much in an eternity!

- Forgets her shyness every time one of the guests needs anything.

Kaminari:

- At first he’s so disinterested and tries to call in sick. His classmates will drag him out of the bed and get him there. But as soon as he sees the grateful faces of the guests it totally touches his heart.

- Helps some people charge their phones because most of them possess elder models but rarely get the chance to charge it.

- Will also do waitress work but is very sloppy and often stumbles.

- Will get many compliments by elder ladies what a sweet guy he is and that he should meet their granddaughters.

Kirishima:

- Is all fired up about it just like always. This little sunshine.

- Tells anyone about how helping people in need is ‘manly’. To him, it doesn’t matter if it’s a great fight or just a small deed. Doesn’t care about the recognition either.

- Sadly isn’t much of a help because he doesn’t know how to cook very well, and is clumsy when it comes to holding more than one plate. But he always does his best. He gives it 200% even if it’s small tasks he’s only given because he cannot fuck them up.

Ojiro:

- His cooking is pretty decent. Above average at least. So he helps in the kitchen under the command of Sato.

- Tells everyone how amazing they are and what wonderful work they are doing.

- Is really humble about every thank you he receives from the people. Has had some nice conversations and even made some new friends. He doesn’t really care about social status as long as the person is friendly.

- Afterwards he’ll come and help there at least once a week.

Shoji:

- Is very quiet most of the time and just does his work.

- But to make the children crack a smile, even he gets out of his shell. Will make them climb on his arms and stuff.

- Lowkey gets very emotional about those poor people and thinks of it all day. Will need to get cheered up later.

- When he’s a pro hero he’ll have his own foundation to make charity work. This topic never left his mind after he worked there.

Aoyama:

- My boy is really enjoying himself there. He’s good at preparing food and teaching anyone who doesn’t know how to do it right.

- Finally gets some recognition by his classmates and is integrated in the team.

- Will make many stupid jokes no one except himself finds funny but he just wants to lighten up the mood.

- Once tried to roast something using his laser but it didn’t end well. Will have to write an essay about fire safety over the weekend.

Hagakure:

- Is totally hyped but doesn’t really know what to do. Is in desperate need of leadership.

- Will do whatever task you give her and does her best. Get’s distracted very easily tho.

- Spends most of the time adoring the children and complimenting every guest about anything that comes to her mind.

- She’s overlooked very easily so she would get stumbled over in the kitchen. Will help with giving out food in the end. Talks to anyone coming to her to get a plate for several minutes. Wants to get to know anyone.

Sero:

- Is pretty stoic about the work but isn’t that invested into helping at first. Wants to fight or train or do action stuff.

- Until a woman he brings some food to tells him he reminds her of her son who’s his age and she tells him a really heartbreaking story.

- He’ll then proceed to follow that woman around and listen to her stories. Many things about that made him think about topics he wasn’t even aware until now.

- In the end, he even gifts her a keychain as a lucky charm.

Midoriya:

- Gets constant anxiety because he’s afraid his work is not good enough for those people. Really doesn’t wanna let their hopes down, and has way too high expectations into himself.

- Isn’t much of a cook, so he mainly runs around, carries some plates, chests and bottles and just listens to anyone who’s asking for his help.

- Constantly gets lost because he’s so invested in talking to the people and their backstories. His fellow classmates need to keep him from trying to help every single one of them.

- At the end of the day determined to find a way to help those people. Realizes there are so many different ways of needing help and helping and he wants to know more about it. The world is so big but he sees is as an opportunity!

They’ll end up raising money for that and many other social service procivers once a month, through plays they present and spending the entry fee, or selling selfmade waffles, and so on.

Every month something different is at place, and they choose together as a class what they’ll do next!

Asmodeus and Jimmy

First n foremost, I nEED to update this blog more often than I do ugh- but here’s two babs I made based off of sims and there is a trigger warning down there somewhere highlighted in HUGE bold text before it goes any further so please keep it in mind

| Names: Asmodeus Kosmos and Jimmy Vulcan

| Nicknames: Asmo/Kos and Jim/Vul (sometimes Jimmy likes to mess with Asmodeus and calls him momo)

| Sexualities: Asmo is gay while Jimmy is Pan

| Ages: Unknown

| Heights: Asmodeus is 7'5" while Jimmy is 5'3"

| Species/Race: Asmodeus is a demon and Jimmy is a human

| Skin Colors/Body Types: Asmodeus's skin is red and he's pretty muscular and Jimmy is fairly pale and much more chubby

| Eye Colors/Hair Colors: Asmodeus's eyes are pitch black and his hair is also black (hairstyle is: Greaser Style) and Jimmy’s eyes are a Baby Blue color (his hairstyle is really just a Manbun)

| Appearances: Asmodeus wears a Red and Black flannel with a simple black t-shirt underneath, he also wears black ripped jeans and some black multi buckle punk boots, he also has a black collar with some spikes on it he wears as well, and finally he wears some gauges. He has large pointy ears, razor sharp bear trap teeth, and a few scars here and there but nothing too severe it seems, he also has large black claws and some large black devil-esque horns and a black devil style tail (he doesn’t bother disguising himself bc he literally just does not care in the slightest, if he didn’t like the looks of his punk esque clothing he’d even keep his hooves n fur to look even more inhuman)

Jimmy wears a black and white striped suit (the white stripes are v e r y thin) with matching pants as well and some black business shoes, he also has glasses as well not for the look just bc he literally needs them to properly see anything, his outfit isn’t too spectacular or out of the ordinary but he does have a few strange scars on himself and his wrist (before conclusions are jumped too, no, it was not an intended self harm scar, he did do it for an ENTIRELY different reason and you’ll see why soon) (oh and I almost forgot like a dumbass, Asmo is Trans thanks to his demon magic- he gave himself the body he wanted and Jimmy of course being a human, this was before he even got to meet Asmo anyways got the surgeries/took the T and all he needed and wanted ya know?)

Oh yeah and btw they both have short boxed beards.

| Personalities: Asmodeus isn’t the most… friendly neither to demons nor humans, in fact, he’s actually a cannibal- he’ll eat his own kind but he’ll also eat humans as well, he’s VERY mischievous and loves to cause trouble and pull pranks and terrify people, he’s always hated his own kind and humans both however… There IS one human he actually likes to be around and stick with, which of course at first it wasn’t that way but I’ll explain that in a bit, he’s pretty cold n cruel towards others, he’s often hungry so he feeds himself quite a lot much to a certain human’s dismay bc he’d really rather things lay low n such but lmao that’s not gonna happen fuck that, Asmo does p much what he wants WHEN he wants to and there ain’t a damn thing anybody can do about it- he truly is p much a rebel.

Onto Jimmy… Jimmy is much more kindhearted and sweeter, he’s not exactly the best with people due to a lot of anxiety and social anxiety so usually he doesn’t hang out in large gatherings and such as that, he usually spends a lot of time in his own room playing some games in his free time but usually he’s writing and working on multiple stories, now if it wasn’t obvious enough as it was, Jimmy is the human I was referring to earlier, him and Asmo live together and I’ll explain why in the side facts but for now, Jimmy’s goal is to one day became a famous author even tho he knows dealing with people and crowds will be tricky, he knows it’d be worth it in the end for sure… Absolutely LOVES animals of any kind, dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, etc you name an animal and he loves them so much he’s too scared however of Asmo eating said animals to bring one into the house unfortunately.

Jimmy loves reading as well, he’s an absolute bookworm and I’m not saying this bc he’s a writer or reads or shit like that but he genuinely is a geek, he’s a complete dork but we love him anyway I’m sure after all… Havin’ a problem with Jimmy is a death sentence with Asmodeus around.

(tl;dr: Asmo is cruel, cold, evil essentially and also a cannibal he’ll eat his own demon kind and he’ll even eat human kind, he’s VERY gluttonous so it’s hard to fill him up most of the time he can just never be satisfied, he does care about one and ONLY one human and that of course is Jimmy obviously, nobody touches or bothers Jimmy with Asmo around, he hates other humans and demons alike however, loves causing mischief and mayhem, pulling pranks, and scaring the hell out of people, always hated his own kind

Jimmy however is much more friendlier, kinder and a sweetheart, however his anxieties both social and regular anxiety gets in his way a lot so he can’t handle people and a LOT of situations tbh, he LOVES writing and hopes to one day become a famous author even if he has to deal with people he knows its worth it, loves to read as well, he’s a geek/dork and lovable as ever, 100% LOVE. FOR. ANIMALS. You let this man see a fucking puppy or hell even a baby rat and he will break down in tears bc its so damn cute, he’ll cry even worse if you let him hold a puppy or somethin like that)

| Side Facts: This is gon be a long one now… so woo boy… Jimmy despite sounding like an average normal human being p much, he’s had a very dark secret… Jimmy was actually supposed to be a cult leader at some point, however for reasons unknown that little thing didn’t work out which he is actually relatively relieved of bc truth be told he wanted no part of a cult in the slightest, that didn’t stop him from being curious about demons and such as that however… There was one demon in particular he had heard them mention quite often and it’s yep, you guessed it! Asmodeus Kosmos… His curiosity had admittedly gotten the better of him so he did some research and…

(Trigger Warning!!! For blood, ritual esque themes, demon summoning of course annnnd p much him cutting his wrist for said ritual so if that bothers you please don’t read any further into it)

Jimmy grabbed the supplies he needed, it was pretty basic stuff such as candles, drawing an upside down pentagram, etc- he then grabbed his knife and slit his wrist, letting his blood flow out into a chalice p much and at first he thought this was the worst decision he ever made and besides nothing even happened so now he’s going to have a scar on his wrist and have to deal with lots of blood but before he could even move to go grab a towel, lo and behold… There was a bright red light and then out popped Asmodeus from the pentagram who immediately grabbed the chalice and rather greedily began slurping up the blood inside, after finishing his little… drink… He looked over at Jimmy who was honestly very mortified right about now and p much grinned at him like “Yooo! What did a lil fella like yourself summon a demon like ME for?” Asmo was definitely… shocked like… really? THIS is what summons him? Jimmy looked like any ol regular human! Nothin special! Just another snack!

And that was when Jimmy realized… He didn’t actually know why he summoned this demon, he had no reason other than curiosity and then an even worse realization of this demon is going to be absolutely. Fucking. P i s s e d. He was lowkey freaking out, before he could even think of the proper response, he just blurted out “Uhh… C-Curiosity…?” which made Asmo’s expression drop a lil, it was more so one of confusion than anger “...Ya know, normal demons woulda been pissed but lemme tell ya somethin’ I ain’t no normal demon and I gotta admit… Outta all the human blood I’ve had, yours by far has been the fuckin’ b e s t tastin’ blood e v e r! Dunno what’cha did bud but ya definitely did somethin’ right! Well, for me at least, for you uh well not so much” Asmo definitely made ill intentions clear to Jimmy by flashing some sharp teeth (this is turning into an actual story now shit uh just roll with it and for fucks sake why can I write better when im not even trying to do an actual story?!)

Asmo of course barely gave him any time before walking over and casually grabbing his wrist, he licked the wound clean much to Jimmy’s dismay… Could demon saliva cause an infection? He didn’t exactly want to find out but it was too late now, Asmo didn’t notice the terror humans usually had for him so maybe this guy didn’t read the fine print or somethin’... “Uhh ya do realize like, I’m gonna eat’cha now right? Did you even, like, r e a d the smaller text in the books? Or did they cut that part out just hopin’ some poor soul would get devoured?” before Asmo could take a chunk out of Jimmy he quickly began to speak “Wait! I’ll… I’ll make a deal with you!” Asmo being the lil trickster that he was couldn’t r e s i s t… “Ooh… What kinda deal we talkin’ ‘ere pipsqueak?” Jimmy didn’t even know what he was saying, he just blurted the next few parts “What if I like… Help you? With, uh, the eating thing?” Asmo of course couldn’t believe his ears, he deadpanned “Ya serious? Ya gonna help me, get other humans who are basically gonna become my meal? JUST to protect yourself?” and there was a pause but before Jimmy could rephrase his question it was too late, Asmodeus grabbed his hand and shook it “You my friend have got yaself a dealio! I’ll spare ya, but uh, I expect a meal v e r y soon~” of course, now Jimmy was completely fucked… Now he had to keep this demon fed because a deal was made and he couldn’t break it or else he’d be the one eaten… And of course not to mention breaking a deal with a literal demon is not the best thing to do in any universe…

Over time of course though… Jimmy had actually begun to bond with Asmodeus, despite all the people he devoured over time… Other than his harsh exterior, rude behavior and pranks n scaring others n stuff… Asmodeus has become much nicer and kinder to him… And even opened up more to him, he knows he can’t change Asmodeus’ ways and get him to stop eating others unfortunately but… After all the time these two have spent together, all the chatting, and even all the flirting (mostly Asmo has done that to Jimmy) they have not only become best friends with each other but in fact, maybe there’s something… More going on there. Aka their dating by now, they actually love one another very much and now? Asmo could never e v e r even dream of eating Jimmy, he’s… actually even scared if he grows too hungry around Jimmy he could accidentally hurt the human… And he’d never want that now, he’d rather himself be locked away and chained up than hurt Jimmy and truth be told… Jimmy is the only being that’s ever been actually nice and kind to Asmo, even after basically threatening him at the start and kinda tormenting him with his pranks, his teasing, and scaring he was still so nice and warm towards him… He was also rather pleased to find out that not only was Jimmy not straight but also ayyy Trans Buddies!!!
