I find it funny that Wild, who has basically a couple years ish of full life experience, comes up with the most insane theories for everything

He assumed that the only other explanation to Four being able to split in Four was. That he was quadruplets who'd been hiding this whole time???

Also apparently he believed that his wolf companion Twilight in botw was a diety (and felt very uhh shocked upon finding out that he was not)

Malon made things worse, telling him about her aliens theory

What's even FUNNIER is that every time Wild expresses any sort of confusion at magic stuff that he's never seen before, everyone else in the chain acts like it's crazy for him to be weirded out by it

Honestly maybe Wild's the only one with his head on straight, rather than everyone else who are just like 'it's magic bro' like no he's right this is weird

I appreciate this because it's very considerate of the fact that he woke up with no memories not too long ago, so he doesn't have much experience to explain the stuff that's 'normal' for the chain. Plus the explanations he comes up with are funny.

Ok the bonus is super super dumb especially since Wild does use the Biggoron Sword on horse back but ffffffffff >.> maybe he can't afford the amiibo.

The first one had a completely different first draft but it didn't work so that's why it might seem weird. Not super 100% on both of these but whateves. Also I got really hung up on Time's eye for this one because there's actually a lot you have to consider when a character has one eye. Like he probably would have people stand on his left when talking to them so he can see them. But then there's the issue of leaving a big, unguarded blindspot but I think he trusts all the Links enough to watch out for him :)

Why is the only way you can get on your loftwing is flinging yourself off a cliff? (Or getting launched into the air?) I think the difference between riding a horse and a loftwing would be like the difference between riding a snowmobile and a motorcycle.

you can pry the headcanon that Wind is an incredible artist out of my cold dead hands

like hear me out hear me out: I know he can just take pictures, but imagine him on the seas drawing out maps and sketching landscapes. I know in my heart he has a sketchbook PACKED with beautiful realistic sketches of his adventures and all the people he loves

And I headcanon he keeps a separate book he uses to document his journeys and the things he explores, and he sketches cool things he discovers in there. He’s such a high energy “I want to see the world!” kind of character but I believe in my heart he takes the time to ground himself and absorb the beauty of what’s around him by drawing it and capturing it in a more intimate and personal way than just a photograph

And then he’s back to bouncing off and causing issues when he’s done

Ok, so some of you replied to a post I made a while back about missing Whumptober, and people gave me lots of options for drawing challenges to do in the meantime. There were some great ideas but nothing in particular that jumped out to me.

BUT WHAT IF---

Instead of doing my own personal prompts, I think it would be really fun to draw 1 color drawing each day that corresponds to a scene in an LU fanfic!

So, for example, I would find fics that I've read and like and pick a scene to draw, then post it and tag the writer(if they have tumblr) and link the story!

This way I get to have fun reading and gifting art, writers get more exposure for their fics, and people get recommendations for LU fics they may not have seen!

I could probably do it in July, that way I have time to find 31 fics and pic the scenes. And ALSO get a head start on drawing, cus man, monotone sketches everyday in October was hard, color drawings will be even more time consuming, so I would need to hard core prep.

If I do this, would people be willing to give fic recs of their favorite stories? Granted I would reserve the right to pick and choose which ones I do. I wouldn't want people to feel sad if I didn't do their fic, but regardless, I think it might be a fun idea.

I'm glad we can all agree that Twilight hearing Time say he's proud of him and deciding, apropos of nothing, that Time can't POSSIBLY be proud of him because the Hero's Shade was pissed at 16 year old him for doing the exact same thing he did here and WORSE except with ZERO TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE OR WEAPONRY OR KNOWLEDGE TO SPEAK OF is the shittiest most faulty un-logical leap to have ever been made.

Sweet bleeding mercy, dude.

Dead Time, having seen Twilight pull this, double down on his stupidity, ignore his advice then, had to watch teenager Twi several hundreds of years after his death proceed to do ALL of the following:

Attack huge unknown monster unprepared, charge into battle with only a sword (barely knowing how to do more than slash with it), get fucking knocked on the head, lose track of his brother and best friend in the process, nearly drown, almost lose an arm, get fucking yanked into the Twilight, GET KIDNAPPED AND CHAINED UP IN THE DUNGEONS, nearly get his shit rocked again by his adoptive father and half of the village by running in casually As A Wolf

WHILE knowing full well that Twilight in his own future will do half of this AGAIN, SHOWING HE LEARNED *NOTHING.*

Frankly the Hero's Shade was lenient and could have beat his ass harder than he did, but the breathtaking stupidity in Twilight's conclusion that Time isn't truly proud of him is. Something else. This man has not matured in the slightest. Props to Hero's Shade Time for restraining himself.

I feel like I'm not great with words and wanted to thank the mods for putting together the LU write-a-thon event... So I drew what I do best : little guys !

Sorry it's not really personalized, but I wanted to do this as a little surprise (and quickly, but I kind of failed on this account)...

Know I said I'm not great at words but let me try anyway—

Not even touching the fact that I was having a shitty day and that talking with adorable people helped tremendously, this event really meant a lot to me !

Up until this year I felt like writing was a pretty lonely passion, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but can get discouraging at times. But starting to share my work made me realize it didn't have to be, and the write-a-thon was kind of the gathering of all things good about fandom interactions and sharing work with people who love the same things as you do !

I couldn't even be present a lot and it really made a great impression on me, so I wanted to let you all know how awesome of a job you did, and I can't wait next month :D

I saw this one and knew he needed stained glass vibes as soon as possible. I even tried to put in the little gold details on his tunic which I think actually worked out alright! :)
