I don't know if I should have sent this, but I have no one to tell about my AU, so here it is. Mermaid AU, where all the characters are mermaids and the action takes place in the underwater world, I made this universe from the category of "why not?", so it is not fully thought out, the plot in Mer!Lackadaisy is similar to the comic, but instead of alcohol they they sell human things (or cat things???), I couldn’t think of another alternative to alcohol, I didn’t choose alcohol because for me it somehow doesn’t fit with mermaids, okay, let’s move on to the next one, instead of the Lackadaisy bar they have a sunken ship under called Lackadaisy, something like that. Here are characters as mermaids here

1. Rocky: Dolphin, I decided that just mermaids with scaly tails were boring, so I decided to base them on real sea animals, it’s more interesting, I decided that Rocky would be a dolphin, because dolphins are smart and dexterous, and they’re also funny, like Rocky and dolphins can be cruel and cunning like Rocky so I thought this would be the best option, honestly I can't imagine Rocky as any other sea animal other than a dolphin when I thought of Rocky as a mermaid, it was a dolphin something like that, and well, I also chose a dolphin for Rocky, for some reason, now you’ll understand why

2. Freckle: Tiger Shark, I chose this because it fits Freckle's aggressive side and since dolphins (Rocky) are intimidating to sharks, I think you can see why I chose this option

3. Ivy: Sunflower sea star, I decided to make her like this because she had an orange color in her palette, similar to sunflower sea star, and I chose this option because of the symbolism of the star on her clothes

4. Mitzi: Matano Crab, originally I wanted to make her a jellyfish, but then I changed my mind, I wanted to make a reference to the Krusty Krab

5. Zib: Seahorse, I think it's obvious, but I made him a seahorse because of the saxophone

6. Wick: Narwhal, honestly, I don't know why, I just decided to choose him

7. Victor: Sperm whale, initially I wanted to make a bull shark out of it, but then I chose the sperm whale not only because of its character and large size, but also because sperm whales intimidate killer whales, now you will understand why

8. Mordecai: Killer whale, now you understand why I made Victor a sperm whale, I think there is no need to explain why I made Mordecai a killer whale, this is the only animal that suits him

9. Niko/Serafina: White shark, no explanation needed

10. Asa: Leo Fish, since he was based on a lion, why not? Simply put, a reference to prototype

11. Atlas: White humpback whale, because it is more interesting, and because I associate Atlas with the spirit of the crocodile, so the white humpback whale
