Latiil, the Merfae

   Below the cut, I introduce a new character through violence. She is a tiny Merfae. This is woman whump and there are whump illustrations along the way. Please mind the tags.

They had left her there. She couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t her fault she had been born with the black markings that covered her half of face, across her shoulder and wrapped around her back. Her mother had called her unique. Pafrey, her grandfather, simply pretended the marking wasn’t there. That Latiil was perfectly bright and vivid like the rest of the colony. By the time Latiil had reached adulthood, her mother, Mafrey and Pafrey had been taken by the deep dark. Latiil had been betrothed to Nark and Nark would inherit the role of protector and leader of their colony. But before they could complete the ceremony, no further back, the day before the ceremony was to be held, Nark had called Latiil “Ink blot” and gave her over to the portion of the colony that had always hated her. They did more than just leave her. One of them had a knife made of sea urchin spines and had cut up her tail and fins, so she couldn’t swim. They took her to the shallows while the tide was on its way out. There was a particular rock pool that dried when the tide was out. For the tiny fae it was as big as a house. A large chunk of drift wood had been lodged there into it. That’s where they left her. Rado had a collection of iron hooks the giants of the land had used and lost during fishing. Some were much too big to swim with. But some he could wrap up in seaweed and sling over his shoulder. He carried that to the rock pool in the shallows. The other carried Latiil there. Dragging her over rocks that were quickly losing water, tail fins brushing the surface as they went. Latiil’s body and tail were scraped, torn and bleeding. But the worst was to come. They pinned her to the drift woo  and Rado unwrapped the iron hook, careful not to touch it to his bare skin. They held Latiil in place and skewered the hook into her shoulder. She screamed  as a red cloud of blood spilled into the water. They took an abandoned fishing line and tied her to the driftwood. Rado made sure that the line cut deep into her tail, letting more of her blood. They all lingered there, taunting her, touching her, plucking out vibrant scales she didn’t deserve, because she was ugly. When they left her they had to crawl over the tops of rocks, for the tide was almost gone. As they swam home, they all knew that the pool would dry out. And if the sun didn’t kill her some other beast would. Latiil was no longer a stain on their colony.

Masterlist?

I’ve never made a masterlist before, so here we go. **Caution while nothing posted here is NSFW, there are very violent descriptions and artwork below, so beware. So I didn’t finish but I still want to. The thing with AU August is that some of it wasn’t AUs were in fact completely canon to Pup’s story. TALK ABOUT YOUR OCS THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR!!!

First is Jacques. He's a 200+ year old vampire. Charming as hell, will flirt with just about anyone. He's a whumpee. He does have some power to discourage people from certain actions. He has the philosophy of 'treat people better than they deserve'. Pup is another character. A guy in his mid twenties. He's only been a vampire for a short amount of time and during that time he's been conditioned to be the perfect pet/whumpee. There is Gala, a caretaker bent on revenge for the death of her family. There are the villains, the human whumpers. Twin brothers: Gravan and Ortwin Grosvenor. Gravan is a scientist, Ortwin is a monster hunter. Both have a philosophy that goes along something like "We do this for humanity" which means they have a total disregard for treating non-humans humanely. I also have my murder vampire bois. But they are so bad I don't think they deserve to see the light of day :) I also have another series I want to work on but the vampires have over taken all the brain space. The second series I currently referr in my head and google docs is called the Merporium. It is a world involving tiny merfae and is t/g. I actually just finished some more artwork for that one, despite only having one drabble out. Latiil is a rainbow merfae. This one is pretty heavy lady whump as a warning. But it has the potential of being very fluffy, accidental whump and scared whumpees. And actually I have a third story I'm working on. Technically I started that one before the other two. It is about a female fae, or winged fae, heavily inspired by @wildfaewhump. That one follows the odd habits of a winged fae who is willing to abandon the sky for the depths of mines, ignoring the fact that iron burns her skin. She still doesn't have a name she's revealed to me as of yet. But I do know that she is seeking for something underground. I'm not exactly sure what it is yet. I also have my huge stack of 20+ WiP for Loki fanfiction. But you asked about OCs.
