The Legend of Sarila

So if you know this movie you know that many companies have put different titles on it. In IHE's video The Not Disney Collection, it bore the title "Frozen Land".

I can now report that this heap of shit is also branded as "An Eskimo Tale".

If you don't know it, it's a failure of film making. I'm twelve minutes in and so far all they've done is say backstory to each other, rather than show it.

Literally, the brother and sister just had a conversation where they state everything: "I like seeing you laugh. You laughed a lot when our parents where here." "I was too young to remember."

In writing fiction you should show backstory and motives, not say them to people who already know.

The animation is pretty good, which makes it unforgivable that the story is so bad. They clearly had a budget for everything.

Can Apik, from Canadian animated film "The Legend of Sarila", pass the Aila Test? The film is also known as "Frozen Land", it was constantly confused as a Disney's Frozen rip-off.

I’ve never heard of this! If it passes all of the requirements for the test then sure!
