Rev Runner | Danger Duck

This is what I imagine Rev would wear as a civilian outfit outside the suit.

(I do plan on drawing the others but it will take a bit due to other fanart and personal life-)

This piece was drawn on a chromebook (sob) and there are no drivers for our tablet :), and I experimented anew, so this one might look... different.

And now the explanation for this outfit:

Pretty much envisioned Rev in a jumpsuit and based it off the eighties era. Also he wore one in his backstory flashback:

And the roller blades too.

I made his suit red because it suits him more and it's a colour we've already seen him in.

And also the reason why he has arrow shapes on his suit.

Then I based the other colours off this image just figuring out the colours for Rev in particular in relation to the colour wheel.

The fire is self-explanatory. Rev is constantly represented by fire, so I thought flame patterns would make his clothes more interesting.

This took way longer than I thought it would.

As a continuation of this post, here's Nightmare Rev. He basically turned into a Moltres but more feral.

Let me know if you think I should make Nightmare designs for the rest of the team (Ace, Lexi, Duck, and Slam) or if I should just leave it here with Tech and Rev.

(Fun fact - those scratches on his beak are from Tech. No I will not elaborate further)

i choose to see it as seeing how my art and character design has improved rather than how wishywashy i am with how to draw them all

Finally got some time, so I continue to post new colored sketches of my favorite couples x) I need to force myself and make photo cards with a dossier on each character) I hope that soon I will show sketches of Ace and Danger's relatives, I already have a small sketch with Wile and Road)

Rev x Tech Loonatics ^^

This one is is one of the most treasures and most beloved pieces I’ve made in my entire duration in art. Because this character is my most favourite. Sure some may have negative thoughts about the show itself. That’s what made me love the show and this character even more. Because it was as imperfect as myself or anyone. Rev Runner was the hero in smoke when times were tough. That glow to make me smile and laugh. The truest inspiration to my art because when the show was cancelled. The heartbreaking pain and loss of who I would call this character my best friend. When he was gone from me, that pain and amount of love I had for him and the show. Fuelled a spark in me that exploded a need and want to paint and draw and remind myself of the show and characters that have touched my heart. This is Rev Runner he helped me be who I am. The hero in the flames and embers.
