Does Lukas ever meet Nikolai?

Greetings Anon ^^

Given that both, Lukas and Nikolai are working for the Roadkillerz, I think it is bound to happen that the two meet at one point. Lukas is not so sure what he should think about this, mysterious scientist, given that Lukas froze himself around the 70s, so during the Cold war I could imagine that at first he wonders if Nikolai might actually be a "communist spy", but the more he gets to know Akdow better, the more he realizes that he is not one, he still finds it strange that he hides his face behind a scarf but who is Lukas to judge he would say, after all he wears most of the time his astronaut helmet as well.

I can see Nikolai, actually being fascinated to meet a real Cosmonaut (Nikolai rarely uses the term Astronaut), he only read about the Space Race and although he wanted to, never had the time to read more about Space travel and space related technology, so Akdow uses the opportunity and asks Lukas some questions, who feels appreciated that someone wants to know something about the space missions he was involved with.

What would Lukas's fate be by the end of rkz?

Back then, I had the thought about Lukas U. Naris, being the, very last of the characters in Roadkillerz to pass away.

I will explain this further under the read more.

The idea was that an, now older Lukas once again froze himself, and while at one point, he was able to get a space ship that allowed fast intergalactic travel, he still froze himself.

I had the concept of a story in my mind, that played, at the very end of the world, where a few of the immortal characters still existed, one of them being Sam.

At first I thought about her, just, having lived for million/billions of years...but I also thought about the concept of a god (maybe the same one who has cursed Sam) bringing Sam back, for one last mission / as a request to do something.

I, have forgotten about the details, but, from what I remembered was that in the core of the dying earth, a new god was growing, who would emerge upon the end of Earth that was close to happen.

However, there was some..last...evil or perhaps more..confused/desperate entity that tried to meddle with this...interrupt or stop this, I am not sure anymore.

Lukas, was also present, with Sam finding his cryo chamber, and waking him up, with Lukas helping Sam, telling him that he plans to use his spaceship to escape the end of the world and to settle down on another planet for the rest of his life.

I would like to note that, with the Earth close to its end, there aren't really, anyone alive anymore, except Sam, the other immortals, Lukas and those who try to interrupt the new god from waking up.

Sam and the others succeed, thwarting the entity/entities that wanted to prevent the god from emerging.

Lukas is preparing to depart from the now ending Earth, I imagine that he would ask Sam and the others, if they, would like to come with him, saying that there is enough room for them, and that there would be other adventures in the universe, awaiting them.

However, Sam and the others would politely decline, saying that, it is time for them to finally rest, and that with the end of the Earth, theirs has come now as well, forever, and that they are ready to move on.

Lukas then steps into the rocket, giving them all one last glance and waving goodbye as the world begins to break apart, with Lukas escaping to another galaxy and planet.

I did imagine that, the death of Sam and the others is not violent, either way with there suddenly a door appearing (maybe a doing from the new god) and them stepping into the afterlife, or the god emerging (I imagine they look a bit like a cat), and holding Sam and the others bodies (who appear to have slept away peacefully) who then turn into sparkling stardust.

The astronaut meanwhile, after barley managing his escape, would look at were the old solar system once was, being light years away and only a small spot in the endless universe, taking off his helmet, he would cry.

The Epilogue was about Lukas arriving on a new world with an breathable atmosphere and a civilization that is around the time of the middle ages.

With a voice talking over the scenes shown, before showing it is Lukas, now very old, telling the story to the people of the village/town where he settled down and kind of became a sage/wise man.

In the end, the scene would show Lukas going to sleep (and also implying him passing away peacefully) while the focus would go to many photographs, zooming into the last one, that shows a large group photograph with the cast of Roadkillerz.

Imagine Vasily meeting Lukas

Greetings Anon

I think Vasily would be delighted to meet a true cosmonaut, as he would say, the exploration and research of space was also something that interested him, but ultimately Vasily decided to get a degree in Quantum science.

He would ask Lukas if he had been part of the manned Mars explorations, it is at this point that Lukas U. Naris discovers that on the world Vasily came from, the Soviet Union were the first to land on the moon, which caused the Space Race to continue.

On the one side, Lukas appreciates that Vasily likes him and thinks so highly of the research and exploration of space, on the other Lukas gets reminded how here, the government and the public have to some degree, lost interest about space and the possibilities.

But, both of them understand each other well, and I think they become good friends when they meet.

Can Lukas draw?

He likes drawing pencil drawings, usually still lifes but he also does not mind drawing portraits.

It is something he has done since he was in the army, to memorize and capture the moment and he continued to do it when training as an astronaut and of course when he joined the Roadkillerz.

Later, I think he would also try himself with different kinds of paint, colorization and painting methods.

I can imagine Lukas getting along with Blubblerjaw since she seems to be a bit old timey too. Wanting to live the pirate life.

Aww, that sounds nice, and honestly, I like to think so too.

Even if, Lukas does not, fully understand why Blubberjaw wants to become a pirate, and neither does the chinchilla why the astronaut is so fascinated with space, but, they respect each other for their dreams.

At least, when it comes to the stars, they have something in common, given that they are both important for astronomy, and were once used by sailors to navigate once.

How well does Lukas knows about constatations?

Well, I do believe he knows some of them, for example the big or little dipper / Ursa minor and Ursa Major, but he of course does not know all constellations and asterisms, so, while he of course does not know all of them, he knows the name of the more popular and visible ones.

What's Lukas's understanding of internet humor?

Honestly, he, doesn't get some of the "humor" nowadays, on the other hand, he also understand if the jokes and, what he thinks is funny, is lost to the future generations as well, after all, over the years it has changed.

But, I believe over the time, he does grow fond, to some of the humor, once Lukas understands the meaning and layers behind it.

Although, he still doesn't get "this Quan meme thing" as he would say.

Blaise for sure, because while they know what a meme is, never really...cared how to speak out the word correctly.

The same goes for Nikolai, for the same reason's

Thinking about it, Tonic and Obdulio very likely also said "meh-meh".

Aviso speaks it out like this because of Nikolai.

Lukas and Age pronounce it that way because they have never heard about "memes" before, but would later say "meme".

34.Which OC is chronically online?

Honestly, I could see Age, Aviso and Lukas, after discovering the internet, spending some time on it, because they are...fascinated by all the wonders and possibilities.

Of course they need help navigating through it, but also, getting thought how to use it, given how Lukas fell for a scam e-mail that jammed the Roadkillerz base for a while.

But, over time they would start to use the Internet less often, but of course, all three of them continue using it, especially Age because he likes reading online encyclopedia articles about history and historical events.

Awww hehe, that is of course possible, I could see Lukas at one point after an exhausting day, having fallen asleep while sitting on a chair, in his astronaut suit, and when he awakens sees Phil (@northerngrailrail), asleep on his lap.

He would be surprised, maybe also at first a bit startled because he didn't notice the dog and wonders how he managed to do that, but, there is something comforting with him being here, so, he would just, allow Phil to sleep for a little bit more.

I think Lukas would just, one day tell him to sit down next to him and have a talk, for the astronaut has noticed that Phil is nervous around him.

And he would genuinely tell the doberman that there is no reason for that, he thinks that Phil is a great guy, and appreciates all the things he has done and continues to do.

Phil may be a Sergeant and he, the astronaut an Air force Captain, but, he sees them both as equal, and honestly, he does not really care about his rank Lukas would say.

He likes Phil for the person he is, and tells him that he is doing a good job, I could imagine both of them, perhaps starting to cook together one day.

What does Lukas feel about religions based on the blood moon?

I think the idea of people, using their own blood to experiment with magic, does put him off for a while, that all sounds, at first to him...cultish...

However, I can see Joanna explaining to him that, Blood Magic is intended to be used to help other people, or in emergencies to defend yourself, and also, that you are supposed to use your own blood for the magic, except of course, again if there is an emergency, for example, a person being injured and blood magic could help them.

This would put Lukas mind a bit at ease, and although the whole idea, is still strange for him, perhaps also continue to make him uncomfortable for a while, he is more open about it.

But he would not become a member, saying that while it is interesting, it's not something he wants to try.

What does Lukas think of Phil Flint and Teddy? (@northerngrail)

Oh he likes all of them a lot and really appreciates them, the astronaut likes how daring Flint can be, and, that he is absolutely not afraid to say what he thinks.

And in Teddy he sees also a kind and caring person, who is curious and interested to know and hear about the stories and history Lukas can share.

Phil is, he is really nice and caring, he was one of the first who welcomed Lukas into the Roadkillerz and helped him to adjust in those, more modern times.

This is a possibility, if I remember correctly Donald was a fighter pilot as well, so, even if Lukas has not seen "Sergeant Pepper" personally, I can imagine he has at least heard about him.

However, what he had witnessed, was, conflicted, he heard good things about the rabbit, but also negative ones as well.

Overall Lukas has a strained or, wary perspective when it comes to people who have been declared "war heroes" given that, Lukas himself was either way involved in a war, or at least, witnessed one or more.

If given the choice. Would Lukas use time travel to go to the time periods he wants to go?

It would be tempting for him, but, in the end, Lukas would decide against it, it's a nice thought but no, he, is happy right now where he is.

Even if he still has the wish to experience and see, intergalactic space travel with his very own eyes, he has met a bunch of wonderful friends here, and, would not, for everything in the world want to abandon them.

Seeing the stars from afar, it makes him melancholic, but, he can look at them with his friends :-)

Is Lukas Queer in any way?

I have to admit, I have not, thought about it until now.

Lukas would, upon deciding to stay in the 2030s, of course be influenced that people are more, open about gender and sexualities and I can imagine that he would experiment a bit with it after a while and feeling comfortable with it.

Personally I think Lukas is Bi or Pan, but he is not, really searching or interested right now, to have a partner.
