I feel like the luckist gal in the world, receiving this as a Christmas gift ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I had wanted to try this @armani luminous silk foundation for the longest time but with it costing $99 in Australia from @sephoraaus I knew it was definitely going to be something I got as a very special gift ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I have tried it twice at this point and perhaps I'm being a total scab with it due to the price but im not as blown away by it as i honestly thought i would be. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation Tutorial: If you’re of a certain age (40, 50, 60+) and have dry or combination mature skin then you’ll want to see the tutorial on a foundation that I use regularly.  Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation is one of the most ideal foundation formulations for more mature women.  I seem to reach for this foundation on a regular basis now and wanted to share with you why I like it, why it’s become my go-to foundation in my 50’s  and how I apply it.  I hope you enjoy this video!

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation provides medium coverage, has good pigmentation and is easy to apply.  May also be thinned out to provide lighter coverage.

The Finish of this foundation?

Dry mature skin: natural or satin

Combination skin: dewy, luminous

Oily skin: not recommended (will not last on skin and will add too much shine over time)

A few notable things:

1.    This foundation does not require a primer underneath.  Prep skin well.  Apply using a brush for medium coverage and a damp sponge for lighter coverage.  In this video I use this brush https://bit.ly/2TRdR0g

2.    This foundation does not require setting unless you have combination skin.  (oily t-zone)  The finish on me is natural with a little luminosity that gives the skin a more youthful finish.
