i appreciate the time you put into this but if youre going to make a note that youre using older ushi you should be vetting character ages better, youve got mordred who says hes 16 during camelot and gareth whos his younger sister, the nobu whos in their early teens (changed to older teens in NA profiles but it still says early in JP and koha-ace), marie who says shes 14 in orleans...i hope this doesnt come off as weird im just concerned about the one note and dont know if you just dont know about the rest? or if i should just steer clear. and thought i should say something while round 1 is going on and its fixable...
I was going to make a post prior to the tournament but no one really reads my announcement posts especially once a poll round starts lol but this is a submission based poll from other tumblr users and my only rule was no children like Jack, prisma illya stuff, lily units, visual designs that are elementary, etc. I'm not denying there are other teenage submissions in this tourney, I'm very much aware.
Ushi has multiple different looking art for different looking ages (summer, avenger) and not every servant like Mordred has an official older looking self. If I can, I also wanted to have characters shown at their most well known design which is why I have 17 year old Rin, Shirou, etc for clarity sake for people not super familiar with the nasuverse so even they can be like "oh yeah that character I remember seeing them before". Mash and Guda are considered forever minors no matter how much time passes lol. Marie in fgo makes quite of few statements about her kids as a loving mom. Lasagna deciding to give her a 14 year old body was literally out of our control but I'm going to simply disregard Lasagna age canon and view her as the adult she died as and not be weird about it, please understand. For Ushi, it wasn't my intention to be weird about her. I winged it and made the conscious decision to have her as an adult since she does have so many different and good sprites and official art. I have a transparent Rider Ushi in her background for clarity for those that only do know her as Rider.
I run this blog with the assumption we're all responsible adults here and we're not going to be weird about fictional characters to the same severity that we treat irl people. Fate, Tsukihime, etc are porn works, there's nothing wrong with that clearly, but serious and non-serious sexual acts with characters under 18 do happen and some of the characters submitted in this tourney are under 18 but I'm choosing not to be weird or a creepy about it so please don't think I have sus intentions with this tourney. This is a silly tourney theme that was selected and voted for. I'm just hosting it to the best of my ability while being respectful and fair as I can (sorry avicebron for the queen medb matchup, literally somebody had to go against her ;n;).

while double-checking lancers for having polearms I was reminded minidusa has a charm skill that’s slightly worse than her sisters’ and I was gonna make a joke about her’s being weaker bc she’s a gayass but then looking at the page for that skill Medb actually has an even lower rank in the same skill;

I just realized, I completed Part 1 of FGO and never ranked the singularities by how much I enjoyed them, so here we go.
1. Solomon - All the Servants coming to your aid? Mash putting her life on the line? Finding out the villain’s motivations? Roman sacrificing everything he is to stop Goetia and give you a chance to win? That last part where it’s just you and Goetia having one last fight? Mash coming back at the last moment to save you?
This is just a series of questions that aren’t questions, but I think I got my point across.
2. Babylonia - What can I say? The story is fantastic, the characters are fantastic, for a final singularity before the finale, it does the job. Gil was great, the threat was great, it added to the overall story, and it really made you feel triumphant when you were finished.
3. Camelot - I think this is a good singularity, but I think it comes pretty close to America for me. I think the story is excellent, as well as setting up some good stuff for the future. I didn’t like Arturia much in Camelot, though. It kind of felt like she wasn’t there much. Plus I was told Camelot is where it gets good, so maybe my expectations were too high?
4. America - I think this comes down to the characters for me. I like the story of Camelot more, but America has lots of characters I really enjoyed. I liked Cu Alter and Medb as villains, and having Cu come in and decimate your entire team partway through really showed him as a threat. And I really liked Scathach. Really, it’s the characters that give this one it’s charm for me.
5. London - Genuinely enjoyed this one, still a bit bumpy, but I enjoyed a lot of the characters and the ending really hooked me in to the rest of the story, really gave me a concrete villain that I preferred to any previous ones.
6. Orleans - Honestly had some really good moments despite it originally being why I dropped the game twice. I really liked some of the stuff with Marie and Amadeus, as well as some stuff with Elisabeth and her future self.
7. Okeanos - Didn’t like Blackbeard as a villain, so hated the first half, got a bit better in the second half so I was enjoying it a bit there.
8. Septem - I remember nothing that happened here, it just seemed kind of bland.

FGO is a mythological fanfic clusterfuck...
Prologue: You are an unassuming man or madam who briefly meets their classmate, Mash. And angers their tsundere superior in Chaldea. An organization made to stop the end of the world. The one guy standing around and dressed like “I am an evil villain”. Turns on Chaldea and all the people suppose to go get blown up before they can embark on their first mission. This explosion sends you flying into Fuyuki with your Tsundere Superior and your classmate turned servant. You are the worst choice to save humanity from the end of the world. But now the only option.
Storyline of Fuyuki: Ah, good to be back in OG Fuyuki. Except everything is one fire, most of humanity is dead, and you have to escort a tsundere superior around while your classmate learns how to be a servant. Everyone is evil except Cu Chulainn who is a wizard and is your drunk uncle here to impart wisdom and snark.
Storyline of Orleans: Jeanne D’Arc comes back as Darth Vader leading an army of other historical villains including Elisabeth Báthory , Dracula, Marie Antonette’s Executioner, the Phantom of the Opera, and Darth Lancelot. You team up with Jedi Master Jeanna D’Arc as well as a younger for some reason dragonkin version of Elisabeth Báthory (just to make thing confusing), Marie Antionette, Motherfuckin’ Mozart, Kiyohime and Sigfried to stop her. Also dragons are everywhere. Darth D’Arc exists because Bluebeard wanted to give her catharsis.
Storyline of Septem: What if Emperor Nero wasn’t completely off his fucking rocker, came back as a fashionable wife, and has to fight previous Roman Emperors to get back Rome? Including a rotund Julius Caesar, an incoherent batshit Caligula, a young Alexander the Great and his hapless future successor who is an adult and just as confused as you, and Romulus. Whose death spawns Attilla the Hun as a space dressed waifu. And just to make their roles in history null and void. You enlist the help of Boudica and Spartcus to aid you. Also Jing Ke and mecha Lu Bu are there too.
Storyline of Okeanos: What if Francis Drake was a big tiddie pirate wife. Alright what if previously to your arrival she 1 v 1′d Poseidon and WON!? Alright now what if after getting her help, you fought Eric Bloodaxe, got trolled by Euryale to re-enact the myth of the Minotaur. But then the Minotaur turned out to be a good boi and joined you. Also Artemis carrying around Orion, Atlanta and David, King of Israel is there. So is Jason and some of the Argonauts but like just Medea and Heracles. Replacing the other Argonauts with Hektor from the Trojan War. Also you have to punch Blackbeard with Mary Read and Anne Bonny.
Story of London: There’s fog every where. You have to join forces with Traitor Knight, Mordred, Doctor Jeckyll, a kid Hans Christian, and Frakenstein’s Bride. Contending with Jack the Ripper, Mephistopheles, Hoienheim, Mecha Babbage, a bunch of Mannequins, and then the Mist of London just sort of summoned Nicoli Tesla and Darth Arthur to fight too. At the very end Tamamo no Mae and Sakata Kintoki arrive just to exit stage left immediately.
Story of E Pluribus Unum: Medb wants to fuck Darth Cu Chulainn but he’s not that interested. So she decides to fuck up Wild West America instead. Making Beowulf the Warden of Alcatrez, Fergus mac Roich the Heavy, and then kidnaps Rama’s Wife before mortally wounding him. Also she has to fight against Lion Headed Mecha Edison, Helena Blavatsky. The two of which are using  Karna, Son of the Sun as the Bouncer. You convince a germ manic Florence Nightingale to aid you, pick up a wounded Rama on the way, as well as Robin Hood, Billy the Kid, young  Elisabeth Báthory again, Geronomo and Nero who is trying to be an actress to fight them all. Also Scathach, Fionn Mac Cumhill and Diarmid are there too. But they just do things at random and Li Shuwen randomly shows up too.
Story of Camelot: What if the entire round table was just a bunch of psychopathic zealots who worthship the ground Arthur walked upon. And then got into a fight with Ozymandius and Nitrocris for the lulls while launching a magical tactical nuclear strike on the entirety of Crusader State Middle East. All the legends of Hassan is trying to stop them but Arash is there too. Tawara Tota is also there to distribute a shit ton of rice. Nothing you do here really matters. But Bedivere shows up to aid in the lackluster ending. Xuanzang Sanzang is also there.
Story of Babylonia: Not Enkidu answers to giant Medusa who is pretending to be Tiamat. Bringing about a massive army of demons and monsters to wipe out humanity in prehistoric Mesopotomia. Leonidas, Ushiwakamaru, and Benkai are doing their best to fight off the hordes. After three Demons go out like bosses before your arrival. Also young Medusa and Merlin are there cause why not? After befriending a woman in a tiger kigarumi, Quetzacoltal, Ishtar, and Ereshikigal. You find out defeating giant Medusa was a ploy to summon the real Tiamat and shit goes down. You eventually drop Tiamat into the Underworld where the First Hassan dewings her after which Ishtar, Ereshikigal, and Gilgamesh work together to defeat her. Ushiwakamaru is captured and comes back as an evil version of herself but with the aid Nekai and Quetzacoltal going out in a blaze of glory you defeat them all.
Story of Saloman: Every servant shows up to fight off Soloman and his Demons, turns out Soloman is the daemon Goetia possessing the corpse of Soloman. And the true Soloman is actually your acting director and base medical doctor. After your classmate sacrifices herself you defeat Goetia and Soloman decides he’s good for now and peaces out taking Goetia down with him and restoring humanity. Bringing your classmate back to life in the process.
But wait THERES MORE! The remaining Demons who survive the Goetia fight decide they’re mad they lost. So create some singularities to air out their grievances. Trapping you and the staff of Chaldea in a time space continuum until you hunt down and take them all out.
Story of Shinjuku: The League of Evil comprising of James Moriarty, Yan Qing, Darth Emiya, the Headless Horseman riding the Spirit of Vengeful Wolves, and the Phantom of the Opera take over 1990s Shinjuku for the fun of it. You have to enlist of the aid of James Moriarty, Sherlock Holmes, Darth Jeanne D’Arc, Darth Arthur Pendragon, and Edmond Dantes. Turns out Moriarty that was your ally was actually the true Moriarty and the one leading the League of Evil was the Demon you’re looking for. Summoning the power of all Fictional Detectives you defeat Moriarty. I shit you not.
Story of Agartha: Welcome to the Center of the Earth. Where the vast open plains are ruled by Darth Francis Drake, Penthesilea, and Wu Zetian. You are joined by Astolfo who takes the form of a cute anime girl but retains his gender, Chevalier d’Eon, and a young Fergus. Fighting the Queens and their respective empires with the aid of...sigh, Christopher Columbus. Surprising no one, Columbus turns out to be the true villain and with the aid of Shahrazad and a Demon almost Colony drops the Center of the Earth on top of the actual Earth, Age of Ultron style. But the power of friendship you win. Also Godzilla Heracles is running around.
Story of Shimosa: What if just after or before the Warring States period: Ashiya Doman, Yagyu Munenori, Minamoto no Raiko, Tomoe Gozen, Mochizuki Chiyome, and Shuten Doji showed up to fuck everything up? Including corrupting Hozoin Inshun just to be absolutely asinine? You get the power of a time traveling woman using the legend of Miyamoto Musashi to get into shenanigans. Also obtaining the aid of Fuma Kotaro and occasionally a robotic mecha Kato Danzo. The Demon sort of just appears backing Ashiya Doman.
Story of Salem: The Salem Witch trials but if done like the VVitch in a horror film manner. Not so much about the battles but about the atmosphere. As you, your classmate, Robin Hood, Charles Henri-Sanson, Nezha, Mata Hari, and the witch, Cirice posing as Medea for a few seconds there. Have to pose as a traveling circus of storytellers and entertainers. While the suspicions of the towns people grow darker. Ghouls and spirits begin to haunt the night. There are executions and the Demon turns out to be the one you least expect. The soul of a child is used to open up a gateway for an Outer God and shit goes down.
But wait there is even MORE!
Story of Prologue: You’ve hunted down and killed the demons. And now the world is back to normal. When a new force arrives to take over Chaldea in your stead. One of those new arrivals brings along an army to slaughter Chaldea and activates the end of the world by way of Alien Invasion. You get out of there in the nick of time via a magical meguffin mobile and now have to track down Lostbelts. Each one controlled by a King, a Master who was your former colleague who previously got blown up and now is now revived by the Aliens, and their servant as well. Good fucking luck chuck!
Story of Anatasia: Russia is fucked. Russia is SO FUCKED! That its been stuck in an Ice Age since the reign of Ivan the Terrible. The Russians are forced to use a magic to turn them into anthropamorphic beings and have been surviving barely due to the machanations of Saleri, Ivan the Terrible, Anastasia Romonov, the Master of this Lostbelt, and a particularly sadistic fox woman. With barely anything to go on and running out of fuel. You have to venture out into the eternal Russian Blizzard to get the aid of one of the locals, Avicebron and Darth Atlanta to defeat Anatasia, Ivan, and tear down their cosmic eldritch tree to restore humanity in that sector.
Story of Gotterdammerung: You made it out of Russia and into the Netherlands, where it seems on the cusp of Ragnarok. You are immediately facerolled by Sigurd being possessed by Sutr. Who is under the command of a master there. Enlisting the aid of Napoleon Bonaparte you fight back against Frost Giants, Valkyries, and Sigurd. Also enlisting the aid of Brynhildr to do so. You also have to contend with a girl made up of several goddesses and Scatach taking on the manter of Skadi.
Story of S I N: Out of the frying pan and into the China if it never left or evolved beyond the Qin Dynasty. Except for the Emperor who has become a giant space base, artifical intelligence reaching immortality. After having close calls with mecha centaur Xiang Yu, Qin Langyu, an older Li Shuwen,  Lanling Wang. The Emperor sees you teaching peasants how to read and coloney drops a piece of himself on the village. You send Spartacus to punch to meteor...I shit you not. And with the aid of Mordred, Jing Ke, Red Hare, and Chen Gong. You impress Emperor Qin to come out of his shell and reveal his butterfly god form. Also the Master in this Lostbelt is actually a fucking vampire.
And that’s all I’ve gotten to so far.

Daily Life of Mastersona Seihai-Kun (owo)
Just some fun notes about the daily life and trials of my mastersona living within Chaldea!!
- when the don't wanna get out of bed, Fou legit jumps on their face; making them panic so hard that they fall onto the floor. One time, Seihai was concurrently suffering from an episode of sleep paralysis so they legit ALMOST shat their pants.
- If that doesn't work, sometimes Fou enlists other servants to surprise the master in all sorts of ways- in order to scare them enough to wake up!
- The scariest time for Seihai was waking up, surrounded by Berserkers looming over her bedsheets. They banned room entry for a whole week after that.
- They often find themselves sitting with servants and staff who tend to vent about their lives to Seihai. They're not sure how they gained the reputation of being "a good person to vent to" but in exchange, they are privy to an endless assortment of exciting stories about epic quests; the trials and tribulations of being a mage etc, so they see it as a GOOD DEAL!
- Even in events bustling with other servants, you'll often catch them alone- staring into the sky whilst devouring food/ writing notes in their observation diary. Unlike the many excitable servants that can enjoy the company of others for up to 24 hours a day, Seihai can only take so much! However, they do like having casual conversation in the Chaldea Bar during the early hours of the morning.
- Seeing as I'm a Gilgamesh theme I should mention Gilgamesh here. Well. These two do not actually get along very well at all!! Seihai and Gilgamesh are both very individualistic people, so they often disagree over many minor issues. In addition to that, Gilgamesh can tell that they're not being their most authentic self. He knows full well that Seihai is running away from creating human connections; and it infuriates him! Cowardice shall not be tolerated🤣🤣 On the other hand, Seihai can pick up that there are some discrepancies in Gilgamesh's attitude as well. For this very reason, both look at the other and think 'yo, good luck. you're gonna need it.'
- The library is HEAVEN and so is the writer's room. In particular, Seihai is very inspired by Hans' fiery roasts. They kinda hate it when Hans reads them to hell and back (especially when Caeser starts yelling "desist!desist!" in the background as Shakespeare starts dabbing) however, their chaos is greatly appreciated. Despite this, things go absolutely INSANE during the days in which Fran, Moriarty, Mordred etc. join in and they're not sure how to cope with it...
- one time they drew doujin manga for 24 hours straight with Osakabehime. Somehow along the way, it became a very fun slumber party with other queens such as Medb and Marie joining in. Seihai started crying because they've never had such a powerful, reaffirming and accepting Girls' Talk session in their life before.
- Though they prefer alone time, they absolutely lose their shit with excitement when invited on a trip. However, one of these trips was a sporty one full of warrior and muscle-clad servants that more or less eviscerated them in every activity!!! They're not sure they'll ever participate in such a event again.

so apparently, we needed to get this off our chests? from x ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Kate tenses, wondering if there’s enough time to make it to the door before these two men rip each other apart but Mason makes a visible effort to breathe through his nose and swallow down the fury that she knows burns so close to the surface.
She tries to catch his eye and says loudly, “I think we’re done here, Mason.”
Maddox looks disappointed. He slides a glare at Mason before lounging against the other medbed as Mason gets up. “You’re not going to answer my question, Huntsman?”
Mason grits his teeth as he walks away. “I don’t even know what you’re talking about, Ajax. As per fucking usual.”
--
Kate tracks him down later in the cycle, after a long few hours trying to work with the most belligerent patient she ever had the misfortune to come across. Maddox made her teeth ache, and fought her on every test, every protocol she tried. He was just a fighter, she knew that. From the bits and pieces she had been able to put together, she understood this was how he survived as long as he did.
She finds Mason in his quarters, shirtless and hunched over a datapad. He’s surprised to see her.
“Everything alright, doc?”
“Yes,” she rushes to reassure him, knowing that his mind has gone straight to his phoenix brothers and the fact she’s standing in his doorway late into a cycle when everyone should be asleep. “Everything is fine.”
He raises an eyebrow expectantly as she mulls over her words. “I want to know more. About project phoenix.”
“Pretty sure Ethan gave you all he had on us,” he says and she doesn’t miss the way his voices gets hard on the mention of Sabre’s name. “What more do you need?”
“Not the stats and the baselines,” she shakes her head. “The… the personal aspects. Friendships, or lack of them.”
Mason deflates slightly and flicks the datapad he had been holding towards the bed. The sheets are still pulled taut, a clear indication he had yet to sleep. She makes a mental note of that somewhere, reminding herself to check his biorhythms later.
He leans against the wall but gestures for her to take a seat and make herself comfortable but heat curls uncomfortably under her skin. Like all of the phoenix, he was beautiful, a lovely flower that could snap shut and devour her if she let herself fall into his nectar.
She shakes off the thought and chooses to remain standing.
“You don’t have to worry about us,” he starts to say. “Ajax and I… it’s been like this for years. I promised Marie I wouldn’t destroy her ship anyway.”
Kate’s smile is tight but she can appreciate his attempt at humour. As usual, he’s cut straight to the heart of her concerns.
“I’m trying to fix him,” she reminds him dryly. “We need him for the war. Don’t go picking any fights.”
Mason chuckles. He reaches for a black t-shirt draped over the back of a chair and shrugs it on. Kate is almost disappointed to see the expanse of hard flesh disappear from sight. “It wouldn’t be a fair fight anyway.”
Kate senses her opening. “Sometimes it seems like you’re looking for one though.”
Mason turns and regards her with a quiet stillness. It almost feels, dangerous, the way he stares at her. Is he cataloguing her weaknesses? Wondering how quickly he could wrap a hand around her throat and choke the air from her lungs? She had read the files, long before the 37’s were boots on the ground, they were assassins too, silent and deadly, trained to stand out and blend in all at once.
“Aren’t we all?” he says mildly.
“Maddox wasn’t wrong, Mason. There is… there’s something different. Since you’ve come on board, there’s been something bothering you.”
He doesn’t answer, green eyes glinting with something that tells her she’s skirting close to a boundary he may not let her cross. But this was her job. She was here to make sure these men, these dogs of war, these assets, as the brass called them, operated to their highest potential. And there was something hanging over Huntsman that had the potential to cause problems if it leaked into a battle.
“Why don’t you tell me the real reason Sabre elected to stay behind. And why the two of you are suddenly so… hostile.”
Green eyes glint again and his tone turns to ice. “That’s not open for discussion, Kate.”
“I think it should be,” she says, taking her cue from his use of her name rather than her title. He hasn’t shut her out completely yet, so she forges ahead. “From what I understand, the two of you have been a team since the start. You were separated during your escape from Cerberus, but then you reconnected and you have been together since. Until now.”
The shutter falls over his eyes, as she had expected. “Sabre feels he would be better utilised in the lab.”
“Bullshit,” she says softly. “He’s a powerful biotic capable of wrecking a swath of destruction as much as you or Hurricane or Zeus and with an entire information network that could prove to be incredibly invaluable at the touch of his fingertips… The rest of the phoenix are here. He should be here too.”
Mason doesn’t hide the twist to his features. This hurts him, she realises, and her deeply held suspicions are confirmed.
“There’s more to it, isn’t there? To your relationship?”
For a moment, Kate wonders if he’s going to shut her out but there’s a slight drop of his shoulders, a slight lowering of his guard as though he’s tired of carrying the weight around.
“Sabre and I go back a long way,” Mason says with a loose shrug. “Since I woke up on that table with a new amp and a body I didn’t recognize with a pile of broken memories and no idea of who I really was. He was there, waiting for me. He was always there, every time I turned around, he was there. He had my back, in every fight, every battle, every time. But things got messy because we didn’t keep it professional.”
“You mean you fell in love with him.”
Mason glances at her sharply and for a moment he looks as though he wants to argue. “There were feelings,” he says slowly, as though only just coming to terms with the concept himself. “Yes.”
Kate recalls the daggers stared into the back of her neck whenever Sabre had been in the lab, whenever she got too close or bent her head towards Mason. She frowns. Something wasn’t adding up. “He didn’t return them?”
“No,” Mason laughs dryly, a bitter edge on his terms. “At least not like that. But we never made any promises either to each other. He never made any promises. I… I got attached but that’s on me.”
“It’s not a bad thing to fall in love, Mason.”
“It is when the person you fall for makes it clear, repeatedly, mind you, that there’s no future or commitment or happily ever after. Sabre isn’t built that way, and I’ve known that from the start. It was… fine. I was okay with that. It was enough to-“
Mason cuts himself off, rubs his jaw and glances away. She can see the instant regret in his eyes, that he’s said too much and she almost feels guilty for pushing. Almost, but not quite.
“So what happened?” Kate asks gently, sensing he’s on the cusp of something. “Why is he there and you here?”
Mason drops his hand, eyes flashing now. “He broke it off, alright. Is that what you wanted to hear, Doc? You want me to cry on your shoulder about my broken heart? Don’t worry, it won’t affect my performance in the field.”
“Mason…”
“Shit, I’m sorry. I… I don’t know why you want to know about this. Yeah, so I’m working through some shit right now, but show me someone on this damn boat who isn’t.”
He has a point, she concedes, although she doesn’t say it out loud. “Sabre was your second,” she says softly, all the pieces suddenly starting to click into place. “His job was to protect you.”
Mason’s eyes drift shut, and he shakes his head silently. She wonders if he’s reached the same conclusion she has as she continues. “Even from yourself.”
She sees it in the fall of his shoulders he’s arrived at the same end. A long moment of silence rolls between them. She can hear the gears turning loudly inside his head. The crash of defences too tightly held.
He sags, just slightly. Just enough to know he’s given in a little bit to the storm that’s churning inside for him. Kate wonders somewhere if this is what it’s like to watch a phoenix break.
“I love him, you know? Not just as a brother in arms, not just as a… as a mate… I love him.” Mason’s laugh is suddenly shaky and harsh and bitter as he scrubs a hand through his dark hair. “Sonofabitch, I’ve never admitted that out loud before, not even…”
“He must care about you too.”
“I know he does,” Mason says it sharply, all rough, sparking edges and shattered with the longing for something he can’t have. “Not the same way, but I didn’t care. I didn’t care. I would have been happy to just…. I would have been happy just to share his bed. I never asked him for anything more.”
“You’re angry with him.”
“Yes, goddamnit. Why did he have… fuck, why did he have to notice it?” Mason paces in the small space of his quarters like a jaguar pacing in it’s cage. “I keep going over it in my head, over and over. What gave it away? What pushed him too far? I don’t know, all I know is that he wanted to end it because he couldn’t give me what he thinks I needed from him. Still fucking trying to protect me. It’s bullshit.”
”That was his job, his purpose. Maybe if you-”
“It doesn’t fucking matter anyway!” Mason cuts her off with a thunder but she’s not frightened because she knows it’s not directed at her. This is a war Mason is fighting with himself, she’s merely an observer. “We can’t go back to pretending he’s not ripping out my fucking heart every time he kisses me. So, fine. Whatever, it is what it is. He’s there, I’m here but we still have a job to do, there’s still a war.”
Mason cranes his neck and rolls his shoulders, a flicker of blue lights his eyes and skitters over his skin before dissipating.
“So, just point me in the direction of something to kill, and I’ll be fine.”

Bess despite  His Arrogance, Flamboyancy, and Confidence in himself.Bess  Dose question if he truly a Man as He went through Great lengths to Hide the fact that he wasn't a Woman (even pulling an Artoria and giving himself breasts temporarily ) Mainly for political Reasons and so he didn't suffer the Similar short Rules of His Sister. Not for the Reasons that Modern Day people do it so His pronouces are He/ Them.

Other stuff
to clarify Bess is More gender non conforming and Really doesn’t caring for looking or acting Traditionally Masculine or Feminine . He’ll wear a Pencil skirt cause it looks nice and if people Mistake him for a women then he really dosent care to him that just means He looks pretty. He’ll drop to his natural sounding voice . Mainly because Elizabeth was Literally praised for his beauty even in his older Years where he was worse for wear in Servant form hes at most in his 30’s .
The reason why Bess hid as Women all his Life is that he was afraid of appearing weak and having a short chaotic rule like his sister as he says” It better to appear as a strong woman than be consider a weak man.“
also He’s 6’3 very tall .
In Fate Lotus order
The some of servants of Chaldea seemed to started a Fan club around Bess . This was started by Nobu and Nobukatsu( Whose actually a saber in this universe) cause Nobukatsu ended up forming a crush on him .
Bess pseudo Harem( cause he dosent know about this )now has
Finn mc Cool
a Chinese moth
Drake in there technically cause they’re Friends
his Advisor who is now a Pretty boy merged with a Snake like Eldritch god due messing with the Occult ( John dee )
he is unapologetically Bi and Unapologetically aware that he’s Thicc
Bess being a Male is based of a Debunked theory of Elizabeth Tudor being replaced by Similar looking male child after dying of illness . He is My Very first servant Oc along with his Sister Mary and Red riding Hood.

Don’t Use Friends As Catalysts (Sigurd, Gudako, Hakuno, Gilgamesh)
“Catalysts?”
Hakuno nodded, holding up the book she was reading. “Yeah, according to this, there’s a theory that’s common amongst lesser mages that you can summon great mages if you use a catalyst on the summoning circle.”
That didn’t sound wrong. Considering the fact that she was using saint quartz for summons, it almost made sense that some things could count in summons.
“We should try it some time.”
“Why not now?”
Hakuno gave her a look, turning her attention to the table.
So their panties were on the table. So they had a few empty bottles and there was a thoroughly corrupted Saint on the other side of the table having her ear whispered into by Marie Antoinette and Medb. They could both see the saint shivering away, insisting on abstaining from drink and from their debauchery.
She’d faint soon. Of that, they had no doubt.
“You want to go do it or not?”
Hakuno stared over at her again, laughing a little. “And what would we use?”
That was true.
Then again…
BB, Nero Bride, and a few others had come immediately from sensing Hakuno. Maybe there was a thing about Hakuno that could summon more people to Chaldea.
She’d mentioned that she’d met the coolest servant by the name of Charlie. She could have Charlie live in Chaldea with the rest of them.
Yeah…
“Gudako?”
“I’m gonna use your ass.”
Hakuno laughed, shaking her head.
“I’m serious! I’m gonna hog tie you and toss your ass onto the summoning circle. We’re gonna summon Charlie!”
“…Do you think we can swing it?”
“He came when you called originally, didn’t he?”
If she remembered correctly, Hakuno had told her that she’d simply been calling for Nero when the servant had crashed into her life, all black and white hair in disarray and dorky smile spread across his face. The saber had swung with a gusto, showing chivalry that was apparently so great it put the Knights of the Round Table to shame.
Well, it was time to find out.
There was a special place in her heart for the knights. If Charlie was anything like that, she’d be a goner.
Hakuno moved onto the summoning circle and sat down.
“Hakuno, that isn’t going to work.”
“What?”
Nah, Hakuno was being too boring. She needed to be something more…
“Gudako-“
“You gotta be cuter.”
Hakuno pulled her hair down from the messy bun it was in, sprawling out across the summoning circle.
“Cuter.”
She unbuttoned the top couple buttons from her outfit.
“Cuter-“
“GUDAKO!”
She was right.
“Hold on,” Gudako told her. “Just lay there and think cute things.”
“I’m going to think about whooping your ass.”
“Should I bring Nero in here?”
“And Tamamo. We’re going to defile your summoning chamber and then laugh in my room about it later while drinking more.”
Rude.
Cruel and rude and unusual punishment; here she was doing the universe’s work and Hakuno was being unappreciative about being bait. That was alright though. She’d see the light. She knew just what to do. She had some outfits from Skathi that would fit the woman. She also had some jewelry she’d gotten from Enkidu.
Between the two and about twenty minutes of Hakuno fussing, she had…
“Hey Hakuno?”
“Yeah?”
The woman looked up at her, her brown hair tumbling down the sides of her face from how she’d poorly attempted to pin it up.
“If this doesn’t work, we should definitely make out in my room for a bit.”
“You’re ridiculous!” Hakuno tossed her clothes at her, shifting awkwardly in the dress from Skathi. “Let’s hurry this up. I know how your bedroom guests are. I am guessing Mash will let them wait around in your room for about ten or so more minutes before wondering why you haven’t found and kicked them out yet.”
It was true.
Mash was very good at keeping her bed in check.
She’d seen them leave the gambling room. She’d probably begin to wonder about the bedroom trio if they weren’t out of her room yet.
“Alright!”
Gudako set the saint quartz down, pressing her hands to the circle.
“Bibbity bobbity boo!”
Hakuno gave her a droll look at the statement, but it was too late. The circle was illuminating, sparks coming forth from the circle. They both grinned at the sight, noting the rainbow of colors-
And then Hakuno’s face drained. A laugh was rising up.
Gudako could see the woman scramble for the sides of the circle, her ankles being grabbed a second before Gudako staggered back.
Her saint quartz fell onto the circle as it lost power.
A golden armored king held Hakuno upside down, laughing loudly.
“At last! It would seem your luck has run ou-“
Hakuno’s hands pressed against the circle, making it illuminate once again.
More sparks.
More rainbow colors.
Gudako could see the look of surprise on the king’s face. She could see Hakuno falling towards the floor, falling backwards when-
A figure caught her.
The man’s spiked shoulders shifted, his long coat swishing around his body. The sound of breathing through the mask could be heard as the familiar man stood up properly and cradled Hakuno to himself.
“…Gudrun.”
“Mongrel, release the woman.”
Sigurd, infamous Scandinavian hero and plague to her fighting the lost belt against Ophelia so long ago, was standing before them, holding Hakuno close and slowly breathing loudly as he held Hakuno close.
The golden armored king Gilgamesh glared at him, crossing his arms.
“The fool was used to bring me about.”
More breathing.
“Release her.”
More breathing.
Gilgamesh was not appreciating the man ignoring his demands. If anything, he was becoming more upset, his mood and the tension in the air becoming slowly and slowly more draining. Gudako slipped forward, plucking a few of the quartz up before she cleared her throat.
“SO!”
The two servants glanced at her.
“Um… If you both would ah… release my sister.”
“Sister?”
They both glanced between them.
There wasn’t a single thing that they had in common other than being mages. Hakuno’s hair was a deep and beautiful brown, like liquid chocolate that matched her eyes. Meanwhile, she was such a red head that the only thing that stood out more was her golden eyes. She was more muscled than Hakuno. Hakuno was more dainty and delicate looking, like someone coming along to beat her up would probably manage it easily.
Mash and Da Vinci could be sisters long before she and Hakuno could, but-
“Yes, sister!” Gudako moved forward, yanking Hakuno to herself. “The two of you need rooms. We’ll ah… We’ll talk about this tomorrow.”
Sigurd moved forward, his hand going to his mask a moment before it popped off.
The familiar face from before was out and in the open. Gudako paused as he pressed his lips to her forehead… and then to Hakuno’s lips.
“I will wait outside the room then. Your sister bears too much resemblance to my Gudrun. I will be claiming her heart before the upcoming day is done.”
“Spoken like a true fool,” Gilgamesh piped up, shoving the saber towards the door. “Hakuno’s not a romantic, you useless saber. Do not think you’ll be claiming anything. You’ll have more luck claiming the other fool.”
“Thanks,” both she and Hakuno grumbled sarcastically.
The king continued to push and shove, getting the saber out.
“Hey, Gudako?”
“Yeah?”
“We’re going to have to make everyone claim we’re sisters, aren’t we?”
“…It’s gonna make our drunk make out sessions a bit awkward.”
The woman stared up at her a moment before groaning. “Let’s sleep together in my room tonight. I have a bad feeling about this.”
So did she.
So did she…

I’ve had it up to HERE with FGO fans falsely identifying characters as DILFs or MILFs, so I’ve made a handy list of every Servant in the game who had kids and what their parenting role was, so hopefully we can get this whole business sorted out. This list goes by Servant ID.
Take note, I WILL be identifying genderbent female characters whose historical male counterparts had kids as DILFs, because the game doesn’t give any indication that their spouses in its universe were men, and I am of the opinion that Fate has proven that being a Dad or a Mom are not necessarily gendered roles. Also note, this will be mainly going off of their historical/legendary/mythological/literary depictions, as the game doesn’t always give information about their progeny. It’s also entirely possible that there are characters who aren’t on this list that should be, but we don’t have any records of them having had children (or I didn’t find it on wikipedia). Also, many of these characters are summoned at a younger age than they where when they had kids.
I will also only be counting characters with multiple versions ONCE, otherwise this list would be longer than it already is. Additionally, I WILL NOT be counting Pseudo/Demi Servants.
DILFs: Artoria Pendragon Nero Claudius Siegfried Gaius Julius Caesar Attila Gilgamesh Robin Hood (in some stories) Cú Chulainn Leonidas I Ushiwakamaru Alexander/Iskander William Shakespeare Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Hassan of the Cursed Arm Charles-Henri Sanson Heracles Lancelot Lu Bu Fengxian Vlad III Caligula Darius III Eric Bloodaxe David Hector Oda Nobunaga Diarmuid Ua Duibhne Fergus mac Róich Charles Babbage Solomon Arjuna Karna Fionn mac Cumhaill Rama Thomas Edison Geronimo Ozymandias Gawain Tawara Tōta Bedivere James Moriarty (via adopting Fran) Christopher Columbus Yagyū Munenori Katsushika Hokusai (hard to place, given he and Ōi’s shared Spirit Origin. we know that Ōi was married, but not if she had any kids. placing them here for now) Antonio Salieri Ivan the Terrible Achilles Chiron (lots of foster kids) Sakamoto Ryōma (similar thing with Hokusai, given he and Oryou are a package deal, although they adopted his older sister’s son) Napoléon Sigurd Lanling Wang (this dude lived almost 1500 years ago, but we only learned this as recently as 1999) Shi Huang Di (difficult to say with our Glorious Overlord, given that they’re non-binary and might not have had kids in their timeline, but our QSHD did)   William Tell Asclepius Jason
MILFs: Elizabeth Báthory/Carmilla Medusa (in the stories where she was not always a monster) Boudica Marie Antoinette Medea Mata Hari Tamamo no Mae Anne Bonny Mary Read (probably died while pregnant, so honorary mention) Scáthach Brynhildr (in some stories) Ryōgi Shiki Medb Irisviel/Dress of Heaven (she’s technically from a timeline where she and Kiritsugu never met, but she has the memories from the one where they did) Minamoto no Raikō (would normally be a DILF as per stated genderbend rules, but she identifies as a mother) Cleopatra Chacha Scheherazade Wu Zetian Tomoe Gozen Katō Danzō (like Raikō, she’s here because she’s identified as a mom) Circe Semiramis (both her legend and her actual historical counterpart, Shammuramat) Scáthach-Skaði (I know I said no alt repeats, but it’s worth mentioning Skaði had kids too) Qin Liangyu Murasaki Shikibu Lakshmibai Nagao Kagetora (had two adopted sons. would normally be a DILF, but there are a few historians that think Kagetora really was a woman, so I felt like putting her here) Calamity Jane (this version might not have had any, but real life Martha Jane Canary had two)
Final DILF Count: 55 Final MILF Count: 28

What's Aquiel's tier list for beach titties to fuck?
Tumblr media
"That's a pretty tall order, even for me. Well, starting from SSS+ tier............ as a rule for myself, I'll only include beach servants with enough titty for me to drop everything to fuck them. If I have a max cap of 4 on my tiers, then..."
SSS+ Tier: Minamoto no Raikou ekes out another top contender for the throne by his preferences alone! Fucking big huge on a tall, slender woman with legs up to here is the fucking best, so he says.
SSS tier:  Nero Claudius not merely for size or softness, as there ARE others who match it, however few; no, it's also for just how fun it is to go to town on a haughty emperor with tits like that!
SS Tier: Anne Bonney, XX, Miyamoto Musashi, Arturia Ruler. The funny thing about these sets is they aren't entirely as prominent as the upper top tiers despite being shown off a ton. This is just by sheer comparison, mind you. They're still fucking huge and soft, but they still leave too much to the imagination. It's a minor complaint because he's still be fucking titty, drooling like an idiot.
S Tier: BB, Tamamo, Scathach, Osakabehime. While these girls are more prominently filled out in every way, besides BB every of them is more balanced in body making the tit ratio even out. Still absolute bangers with knockers you'd absolutely see jiggling around.
A Tier: Martha, Jeanne, Jeanne Alter, Carmilla. If it weren't for Carmilla, this would be the All Saints tier. A bounty of babes with enough titty to comfortable bounce and squeeze with, perfect 10s across the board and only so low because of the insane titty they have to compete with in tiers beyond a perfect score.
B Tier: Kiyohime, Katsushika, Nitocris. Enough titty to be comfortably wrapped in, for real! Soft and bountiful and above all, naughty, they just face too stiff competition to be judged based on tits alone.
C Tier: Arturia, Salter. Sorry folks. Arturias in their base states are good for many things, but titfucking isn't at the absolute top of the list. Good, but not great.
D Tier: Medb. Despite being planet sex and possessor of surely Chaldea's best hips and shapely legs, she just doesn't look made for titfucking like the other girls. Feel free to swap her around with the Arturia's directly above, because it really depends on what angle you're looking at her from.
F Tier: Mary Read. Was paired with Anne, so had to be placed somewhere by default.

STORY MASTERLIST
A (not so) comprehensive list of all the things I write about, all of which are subject to change at any given time because I do a lot of refactoring!
LOOOOONG POST INCOMING I write... a LOT, and I have... MANY projects :) Feel free to ask me about any of them! :)
With love <3 Continue reading below the cutoff if you want to know the basic rundown of my worlds and works!
ANGELVERSE:
This universe encompasses all of the angels and demons I like to focus on. Works in the angelverse will likely be about Faraday (formerly known as Efrem), a demon lieutenant, Ezekiel, a young angel, the archangel Uriel, or angel Raguel / angel Sophia (their stories are intertwined).
The main concept I have on Angelverse surrounds Faraday, who has grown into himself as a demon and made something of himself. He finds it impossible to shake who he was before. The question comes up during an important meeting between Heaven and Hell of whether he is truly Faraday or Efrem, his own self that he has shakily become, or the self he inherited from being his father’s son. There’s also brotherly angst between Faraday and Ezekiel, who refuses to let go of the past. (If you look at my old works tagged ‘ezekiel,’ you’ll see Ezekiel used to be a part of Faraday/his ‘ideal’ self, which is why new Ezekiel, separate from Faraday, reads so differently.)
The Raguel and Sophia stories are also closely linked to characters Andromeda and possibly Zachariah. Andromeda’s father runs a cult and has captured an angel in his attic. When Andromeda finds the angel (Sophia), her otherwise “normal” life is thrown into disarray as she starts unraveling threads about her father’s actions as a cult leader. If Zachariah is to be a part of it, he would be living with Andromeda’s family, having run away from his past.
Prominent characters in Angelverse include: Faraday, Uriel, Ezekiel, Stena, Michael, Ramiel, Raguel, Sophia, Zachariah, Ambriel, Ruhiel, Gabriel, Raphael, Luci, Bee, Sasha, Saoirse, and Heather. With the exception of Sophia, all names ending with “el” are angels, while the rest are demons. Also, I say prominent, but like half of these characters are from a bygone era (2018 when I first created them).
TW/CW for heavy religious (Christian) imagery, emotional abuse, violence, transphobia mentions and cult talk. Additional content warning because I tend to write angels as LGBT, but I recognize that some people are not comfortable with this affiliation with Christianity.
LUXTRURA (NOTE: LUXTRURA IS ON PERMANENT HIATUS):
Luxtrura is the name of a fictional country in ye olde European fantasy style, and I haven’t thought of a title for the WIP yet, so I mainly tag it ‘luxtrura’ or ‘luxtruran trio.’ This WIP is a fantasy / dystopian / political intrigue about an uprising in the kingdom of Luxtrura run by an inexperienced king and corrupt nobles all vying for the crown.
Luxtrura (at the current moment) follows the life of His Majesty Devron Fharren, the Eighth Fharren King, who inherited the crown by kingdom decrees at the age of 21. Unlike most kings, Devron has only had seven years of proper royal tutelage on statecraft, having only been named heir to the throne when he was 14. He soon finds he has inherited a kingdom that has been deeply wounded, that his people hate him, and that he has few allies among his own country’s nobles, his friends, and neighboring royalty. Revolution is brewing, and he has a choice to make: to claim his birthright or to help his people.
Prominent characters include: Devron Fharren, Eden Barison, Mili Starr, Plumeria Rwalke, Lilia Tao, Rassaya Tao, Andrea (a mysterious stranger who gives only her first name), Jakob Fiyre, Cordelia Fiyre, Liseline Fiyre, Sonja, and Orange and Rouse (the dragons).
TW/CW for violence, sexual assault mentions, transphobia mentions, political talk, blatant classism, and death.
GLOWING EYES:
A “what-if” scenario where Victor Frankenstein and Dorian Gray had met and become friends and also Frankenstein wasn’t a man and was named Viola and was not a pleb weakling like Victor. Also Dorian Gray is fat because I said so.
This story reimagines the Frankenstein and Dorian Gray cast as students in their final year of the prestigious University of Ingolstadt, with Frankenstein having returned from a year off during which she was suspended for [redacted] reasons. The vibe we’re going for is dark academia, but I don’t think they ever actually do any learning?
Prominent characters include: Viola Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, Elizabeth Lavenza, Henry Clerval, Basil Hallward, Deukalion, and special shoutout to Justine Moritz and Sibyl Vane because I didn’t want to put them in, but they definitely deserved better in the source material.
TW/CW for death, violence, toxic/obsessive relationships, grave-robbing, body part mentions (eyes, limbs, etc), and mentions of the Devil. Basically, if it was a concerning part of either the Frankenstein or Dorian Gray stories, it will still be concerning.
Fun fact, there is a Glowing Eyes playlist that I am NOT too ashamed to share with the public! :D
HELEN OF LEGEND:
A retelling of the Helen of Sparta story that explores Helen’s thoughts and motivations. Who was the woman behind the face that launched a thousand ships? And did she ever even want those ships to be launched? (Spoiler alert: the answer is no.)
Helen of Legend gets pretty heavy handed because I get really mad about people lauding the Greeks as the end all be all of culture, and I’m still really mad about how people dress Millie Bobby Brown up like she’s 25-40, so make of that what you will.
On the bright side, Helen of Legend is a sapphic retelling!
Prominent characters include: Helen, Leda, Menelaus, Clytemnestra, Penelope, Theseus, Aphrodite, Paris, Cassandra, Hector, and Hecuba.
TW/CW for misogyny, implied past sexual assault, sexual assault mentions, mentions of spousal and emotional abuse, people being generally creepy about bodies, people being creepy toward children (Theseus), cities burning, subtle classism, and death.
OF DANCERS AND DREAMERS:
A musical about Anne-Marie, a non-binary Vietnamese lesbian born into a wealthy family, and Jules, a Tunisian baker’s daughter who is working her way into the Paris ballet. Anne-Marie wants to be a designer, but their mother, Mme Trinh, has other plans. The year is 1884, and it was hard for the Trinh family, as immigrants, to establish their foothold in society, and Mme Trinh will not have her child throw away the family’s hard work. One day, while at the ballet, Anne-Marie becomes smitten with Jules, a ballerina with the most dazzling smile. They find solace in sharing their passions with one another and become friends, each eventually realizing they have fallen for the other in a time that is unfriendly to both of them.
Prominent characters include: Anne-Marie, Jules, Victor, Mme Trinh, and Amandine.
TW/CW for subtle homophobia, classism, mental illness, and parental guilt tripping/emotional toxicity.
THE LYRE EFFECT:
A play about life after death, and what it means to live and love. This play follows Patroclus upon his death, desperate to return to Achilles. He meets the reluctant Eurydice, embittered by decades alone in limbo halfway between life and death. Together, they almost throw someone off a boat (is it really murder if they’re already dead?) and have a chance to tell their stories, stepping out from the shadows of their more famous lovers.
I took a lot of liberties with this, so Orpheus is a woman (wlw OrphEurydice), and I would like for both Achilles and Patroclus to be played by trans men, and for all of the characters to be played by non-white actors.
Prominent characters include: Patroclus, Eurydice, Achilles, Orpheus, Apollo, Hades, Charon
TW/CW for talk about death
SPEED ROUND (OR: THINGS I WRITE ABOUT THAT AREN’T AS AMBITIOUS JUST YET/AT THE CURRENT MOMENT):
Here Lies Forever - a story focusing around two young people, Medb Flaherty and Virgil Sutherland, growing up at an orphanage amid war, abandonment, and sickness. Medb is a blind writer who dreams of traveling the world with Virgil, her best friend since their teen years, but when the war strikes too close to home, Virgil leaves Medb and their peaceful student life behind to join the army. Unwilling to let go, and recognizing the pain Virgil is in, Medb takes it upon herself to save Virgil, the both of them haunted by the ghosts of their pasts.
On the Corner of Maple Street - short stories about the lives of Sarah and Evangeline together, two lesbian women who met when Sarah was 28 and Evangeline was 31. Sarah was a toy maker and Evangeline was an actress. They have a son named Oliver, who’s now in his forties, and they’re grandmas to all the neighborhood children. They live on the corner of Maple Street :)
Partager Un Reve - short stories, often romantic, about two circus performers, Alyona Ledbedeva (who does aerial silks) and Li Mey Ri (an acrobat). They’re cute together, there’s not really much to say here.
Claire  - there’s a really old novelette floating around on my account and you can find it if you search Claire, but like it’s OLD. An 18th century French lady who contracted TB and died but was brought back by a necromancer named Cecil (Cecil is the character of my friend @sinnabon-cosplay !) and is now immortal. Fun times with Claire and Anthony usually involve lamenting the fact that they’re stuck as teenagers.
Miscellaneous - miscellaneous demon and monster characters like Alexander, Felicity (both vampires), Sparrow (succubus/Heather’s youngest sister), Zephyr (fae, husband of Spar), Lycan (she’s... a werewolf), and so on. Not really connected to a plot
Performing Possumhood - uh this was a play I wrote with my friend @holdingonmyheartlikeahandgrenade for a 24 hour play festival, it’s about a guy named Thomas who becomes herald for a kingdom and then on his first day of work, the king dies, and his son becomes king, except the new king??? is a possum???? and like no one does anything about it, so Thomas just feels like he’s going insane, poor guy (also everyone else is named Thomas except the king, whose name is His Majesty King Parthur Pencildragon of Alpacalot)
Nordic questing team - I’ve literally written nothing for these fools, but I’m tempted to make it into a dnd campaign! The characters I have are Val (short for Valnotte) (she’s a nokke), Hanne (human poison seller who wears an eyepatch just because), Fur (short for Bjorgolfur, he’s a werewolf who left his pack because he was too good at being alpha wolf but he didn’t want to be alpha, he wanted to press flowers and have a cute little cottage by a cliffside with a pretty garden damn it), and Bo (full name: Boscobel Blue, he’s a cow boy. Literally. He has cow ears and a big septum piercing and a tail. Also he’s a shepherd. His sheep are carnivorous :))) Make of that what you will)
Alice x Secret Garden - another play but where Alice Liddell and Mary Lennox are 18 years old and find themselves in Wonderland, after Mary is jaded from the end of WW1 and is frustrated at her friend Dickon’s marriage proposal, and Alice runs away, trying to retain her childhood as best she can
Retellings - I do myth and fairy tale and folk retellings! :) You can search ‘Tithonia’ for my sleeping beauty retelling, and I wrote Orpheus and Eurydice a while back. Still working my way through Icarus :’) Also ‘Mermaids Can’t See’ is a retelling of the classic mermaid story but written as a ??? field guide? journal entry? notes about mermaids?
If there’s a work you want specifically about a character, I always tag characters, and I also will tag character introductions and pictures/references of them as “beanpuff char[]”!

Rank the Limited servants(Knight class edition) best to worst: Sabers(Okita , Nero Bride, Void Shiki , Musashi , Proto!Arthur , Sigurd , Beni and Astolfo) , Archers(Gilgamesh, Summer Artoria , Ishtar , Moriarty , Summer Jeanne , Superhuman Orion and Sei Shonagon) and Lancers(Scathach, Brynhildr , Summer Tamamo and Eresh)
…….. I’m not sure if I’m the one to be answering this……. And I can’t vouch for ALL of them because RNG hates me, and depending on who I managed to get. And I’m basing this all on the current Lostbelt difficulty, so opinions may varied which before you kill me if I don’t agree with your waifu and husbando…
Please by all means ignore this post and continue using them
Sabers:
Art ST Spamming: Nero Bride > Beni > Medb.
Maybe Beni is better, but from skillset I feel Nero bride wins both support and using for herself.
Medb I put lower due to every FUCKING MSQ Boss fight is having a debuff immunity, but her other 2 skill is decent to help. Spamming not sure, since my criteria for this is based on Lancelot Saber in both CRIT hell and charging of NP
Quicks ST Saber: Astolfo => Okita > Fran
Unless Okita is getting an upgrade, Astolfo for now wins. Excluding stun most are good for both damage and surviving long for Lostbelt hell.
Okita as I’m still using her… Still Ok with Skadi’s support, which both are.
Fran… Not sure why to me, tricky to use and her demerit outweighs more… Which extremely dangerous to survive in Lostbelt situations
Buster ST Saber: Musashi=Sigurd
Both are situational to me. Musashi is more for general Bosses while Sigurd is more towards Boss with Dragon-traits.
But Musashi may be more preferred, since Sigurd you’ll need to bring best boi George to debuff enemy with Dragon trait. Both have good surviving skills of invincibility and guts respectively
AOE Sabers: Arthurs > Void
Because everywhere in every Lostbelt will at least have one fucking Large-trait monster to deal with. And Arthur having a now crit strengthen, hits enemy real hard without his AOE NP.
Void, unless she get one more buff for her AOE damage… You can still bring her mobs to insta-kill, but you’re going to time when to heal because her third skill drains quite an amount of NP
===
Archers:
Arts ST Archers: Orion => Artoria
Both are good at spamming their NP… But let’s face it, it’s a Grand Servant vs normal Servant. His whole skillset + NP outwins King Golden Asshole says pretty much how wanted he’ll be when his own banner returns again. And GSSR will be hell to get him among all the other Archers. But if you have, you’re a lucky bastard to have them and I want your luck right now!
Calamity Jane: I haven’t got the chance to use her… But if your team isn’t the kind that generates 30 stars minimum per turn, you can still get up to evasion from her skill. She’s very situational because it all dependant on the turn you want to use of how many stars you have. Otherwise, NP skill of ignore evasion is more than welcome on those evading bosses
Buster ST Archers: Fujino > Moriarty > Anne & Mary
Fujino: NP gain not much of an issue if you have her first skill up, good survivability of defense and mainly guts, NP also hit hard with main focus on buff block on the turn when enemy boss buff themselves like ignore invincibility before using their NP… But now can be dependant if the boss is not permanent buff with debuff immunity
Moriarty: After his strengthening, it’d be best for 2nd skill > 3rd skill to fully utilize his support buff in the team. But he’s dependant with a min of 10 stars to activate his skill. His NP hits even better with his first skill, helping to generate stars along the way. But has a problem of surviving so you’ll need support to keep him alive
Anne & Mary: Unless you have guts buff on them via third skill/support/Mystic code, LB’s situation ain’t that welcoming in terms of enemy doing higher amount of damage to them before they could use their NP. Glass canon with decent NP gain similar to their Rider version… I’d say not impossible if you have the relative Servants, but it’ll be very risky to be able to utilize to their fullest
AOE NP Servants: Gilgamesh = Ishtar > Osakabehime = Sei Shonagon = Jeanne > Helena
Gilgamesh: As the oldest king got dethrone on damage output for overall limited Archers… You still gonna need him, which unless really been datamined, as majority of the Servants are weak to Enuma Elish, including himself. Still a strongest hitter for AOE output like Ishtar. And getting him signifies you wasted this year whole luck, and subsequent SSR after him are just you selling your soul to the devil
Ishtar: The goddess which Archer Gil no doubt want to have her head. And with her strengthening and good support team, she can hit real hard as Gilgamesh. Just remember to time her 3rd skill well before the usage of your NP preferably too
Sei, Osakabehime, Jeanne: They are mainly used as a support with a decent hit of their NP.
Jeanne: Jeanne onee-chan with self invinciblity, Arts + NP damage + Crit if your field waterside and attack buff to Good Alignment Servants if your roster is them mainly. Plus Onee-chan beam can give crit stars by overcharge for 3 turns.
Osakabehime: A bit tricky by 2nd skill, if you’re running with a ST NP servant in, you’ve got 3 turns to deal with that one target, unless said target remove the debuff themselves. Decent damage dealing, but otherwise she’s your good support Archer to have
Sei: She may be higher than both Jeanne and Osakabehime, with decent amount of Servants who are Neutral and/or Man Attributes. A great support Archer for both her party and herself with all three of her skills and decent NP damage.
Helena: Similar to her Caster version, she’s got NP charge to support your team. But unfortunately she’s got low NP gain and damage, which many other Archer outclassing her. Slightly better in terms of cooldown, but unfortunately her most important 1st skill takes the longest cooldown. You’re probably better off with other AOE NPs Archer for farming
===
Lancers:
ST NP: Scathach > Raikou > Tamamo no Mae = Brynhildr > Ibaraki > Kiyohime
Scathach: Together with her Caster version, she’s definitely one of the most welcome ST NP against Divine Enemies. While insta-death is obviously useless in MSQ fights, her stun is useful but situational if debuff immunity isn’t there. Her first skill may be RNG, but evade is still there for surviving in boss fight
Raikou: A strong case of Glass canon, but her damage outweighs over her lack of defense buff. With strong support skillset for self and both party, she’s definitely one of your best general-trait boss killer against their insane stacks of defense buff. With Summer BB in for support + star generator CE, her whole self is fully otmpized for a painful buster brave or just brave chain itself to the enemy boss
Tamamo no Mae: Strong hitting Anti-male NP with decent support skill set. But in regards to her demerit, you’ll need to time right of when to use unless you have her up on debuff immunity and debuff remover ready. And for her second skill, make sure you have your defensive skill ready if said enemy Servant are near to full NP bar
Brynhildr: One of the good supports for star generation and skillset wise. NP damage while it hits hard, it’s situational because not every Servant we’ve seen is Brynhildr’s Beloved trait
Ibaraki: With SO MANY GOD-DAMN-FUCKING-HELL Servants having defense buff, she’s one with the most welcoming ignore defense to beat shitless out of them. Decent skillset but third skill is really your RNG hating or loving you. Especially worst if you’re facing an enemy who enjoys throwing debuff at your team. Demerit of her NP I feel isn’t that much of a problem, unless you’re also relying her to do star generation. But she does make it up with overcharge of crit stars, which if you’re a whale, best to have it at NP5
Kiyohime: Despite a strong hitting NP, she’s got a problem for NP gain and debuff kit is really dependant… Which now not in her favor again: Debuff Immunity. And lacks of defense and survivability for herself… Especially most mobs are Berserker or mixed class mobs
AOE NP: Romulus Eresh = Melt
Romulus: Yep, our lord and savior. Even with his release.... He’s actually tied with Eresh. Both have the same strong support + defense + overkilling NP with their own support with them (especially pair with Boudica ironically, but gender buff don’t work on Roma via datamine and lore reason). Romulus mainly boils down to his Roman trait debuff stacking on his enemies... But both Eresh and Romulus shares the same problem in current Lostbelt hell:
Ignore Invincibility
Buff Block
Buff Removal
Debuff removal
Debuff Removal Success Rate (ask DW fucking why)
Debuff Immunity variations
And both play a different role at the end, depending on which you prefer. If you’re looking for a more support-oriented SSR Lancer, Ereshkigal is your girl. If you’re looking for a more AOE ROMA Overkilling Stacking NP, the lord and savior will answer your call.
Eresh: By far still the best AOE NP Limited Servant to have, with both strong party support, surviving yet decent AOE Damage dealing NP but mainly enough for farming. However, she’ll need support on NP gain if you’re planning to do spamming out of it. Though once she do get an NP damage buff by chance… She’s going to become one of the most wanted limited SSR Lancers
Melt: Again, her second effect NP is one of the more welcoming to have in LB hell hole: ignore defense. Her first effect is only activated if you have her 2nd skill active, which is really crucial. Skillset is pretty good, and with NP being Arts, you can have it both spamming and crit hell to your enemies. But do note when you use her third skill, your other 2 Servants’ NP is drain quite a number as she charged herself… So her on double Tamamo team or Tamamo + Casgil + Paracelsus… You get your catch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9tJH9HDEyc

FGO, part 1
I should probably put down my thoughts about FGO so far. Let’s start with story (since I am a very bad gamer and my opinions of the gameplay shouldn’t really count).
I’ve only started Epic of Remnant, but for part 1, I would broadly split it into thirds, in terms of overall quality. First third (Fuyuki, Orleans and Septem) is... bland at best, a confused mess at worst. Second third (Okeanos, London and America) is aggressively okay in terms of actual quality, and your favorite chapter is determined pretty much by which characters you find personally appealing. I like Okeanos best because I like Drake and the Euryale/Asterios thing. Last third (Camelot, Babylonia, and Solomon) is actually good, like holy shit.
One of the biggest problems early (“early” first two thirds) FGO has is that the writing just... assumes you know characters from their previous appearances and that you inherently care about them, so it doesn’t bother doing any of the heavy lifting in actually making you care. Camelot and Babylonia are where it actually takes the time to slow down and give you downtime scenes to make you care (at the hidden villages and at Uruk). It really makes the difference.
In detail:
Fuyuki: It’s basically an extended info dump interrupted hamfistedly by tutorial fights. It’s also a wholesale FSN reference, so I actually can’t imagine how this would look to someone who doesn’t know FSN to begin with. It’s just a prologue and I think it’s fine for what it is, though Olga Marie is presented much better in various adaptations. Fun fact: My favorite take on Fuyuki is Stella Mortalis.
Orleans: Honestly, Orleans is structured similarly to The Good Singularities, but the pacing and overall writing is just too unrefined. There are also just way too many characters, so none of them get used well. Nonetheless, I will stand by Orleans having good parts, like Marie and “flat of your shield.” Also, I found the Dark Jeanne reveal to actually be quite good on the whole?
Septem: This one is worse. Honestly, Septem is pretty much the worst singularity, since there are still lots of characters, but they are even less fleshed out and utilized than Orleans, and Nero is... not written well.
Okeanos: I can’t in good conscience call this an actually good singularity. The plot is just a linear “we travel along, fighting whoever attacks us,” there’s Artemis and Orion, and the twist with Medea Lily really expects you to already know Medea from FSN. But Euryale and Asterios were cute, dammit, and Drake is just really fun. So it’s my top singularity outside the last three.
London: Babylonia held out for six months, but London is gonna die in days, lmao. Anyway, jokes aside, London is... fine, mostly because the characters are endearing. Mordred is very cute, Andersen and Shakespeare are a great comedy pair. Tesla is far from the worst endboss. And then we get some actual main story progression with Solomon himself showing up. The whole mystery aspect though was not very well put together, Zolgen was a completely random cameo all of a sudden (I’m sorry, what?? you’re just dropping him in like that??), and Lancer Altria Alter was... wow, what. Plus, the ending dragged a lot. It wasn’t terrible, but it could have been much better with some more editing.
America: I know a lot of people consider America one of the good singularities, but I didn’t find it an improvement over Okeanos and London, on the whole. Probably not helping things is that I didn’t care about Medb and Berserker Cu at all, but I think the character writing in general was pretty weak. Nightingale is cool, but she owns people so much and so constantly that it starts to look fake and you never really see anything from her except verbal smackdowns. The Karna and Arjuna thing doesn’t have enough setup to make the payoff matter. I was genuinely shocked to realize this is the first time Arjuna appears in the franchise? The way he’s treated, I assumed he was coming from some other spinoff. I don’t know what Nero and Elizabeth’s deal is and I don’t care. Etc. The only character I liked was Rama. Rama was cute. Where’s my side story about letting him meet his wife?
Camelot: Camelot is a turning point. The writing changes quality and even style (that start scene), there’s special effects like the sand and the zoom, and the battles... well, the battles. Anyway, the dysfunctional relationships in the Round Table are actually interesting, the Hassans and the villagers are very charming, Sanzang is cute, Ozymandias and Nitocris were a good third side. The ending chain of sacrifices was... god, I was chanting “oh no, oh no” the entire vs Tristan scene because I looked up a guide and I knew he was immune to poison in battle, so... Anyway, there’s a few weak points, such as Sanzang insisting she knows you even though there’s no way to access whatever event she knows you from, and honestly they just never manage to write Altria as a convincing charismatic king. But those are all nitpicks. It is a good chapter.
Babylonia: Another good, solid chapter. The good things are too many to list. In terms of bad things, there’s a strange turn toward pseudo harem dynamics with everyone being into Senpai. Also, the scenes of the goddesses changing sides to join us were rather miss at times. There’s some things like that, but this is still incredibly solid and good writing.
Temple of Time: The scenes of the Heroic Spirits coming to help you were incredibly hype. I think they overdid it on making Senpai be ~so~ important to everyone, to the point of actual heroes being like “we’re not here to help humanity, we’re just here for Senpai” and villains who have exchanged maybe two sentences with you finding you so very motivational. Also, the wacky event characters was a horrible mood killer. But the premise was still very good, and I was honestly very moved, no matter how cliche it is. It was a good ending.
Shinjuku: I’m only part of the way through, so I can’t give final judgement, but my general impression is that it’s about on the same level as the middle of part 1. The plot and overall writing is okay, but the character writing can be very fun. Salter and Jalter are a fun combo, and crime grandpa is great once he has Sherlock to play off of. Demiya’s design is terrible though.
Agartha: :)))) I finished this one, actually. If you play it for a while, you get kind of numb to just how bad it really is. When I went back to do a bit more Shinjuku, it was just a huge reminder about what fun writing is actually like. I saw some posts ahead of time, so I more or less expected the... gender stuff... but the writing is just bad on every level. Btw shout out to that one person on my friend list with a lv100 Jalter. She murdered Phenex, as is deserved.
