💛 Marcel

Marcel's eyes widened as he stared at you, your eyes downcast as the words that left his mouth settled.

He was usually the voice of reason, the one that reminded his friends not to fight, so how could this have happened? He didn't mean it; hell, he didn't even know why he said it. 

But the look on your face was so intense that Marcel almost had to look away so he wouldn't empty his stomach. 

Marcel was just left standing there, the shock not leaving him even after you already left yourself, tears in your eyes making Marcel's words leave a bad taste in his mouth as he runs after you. 

He caught up to you, telling you how sorry he was, until his voice was raw. 

🧡 Margaret

Frustrated tears flowed from Margaret's eyes the moment the betrayal in your eyes was shown. 

"Well, if that is how you feel, then I think I should just leave." You said your voice was monotone, which made Margaret wipe her eyes again, trying not to let the water fall. 

She watched as Your whole body shook as you left.

Then she simply stood there. She had never been in a fight before, let alone one with a romantic partner, so she had no idea what to do.

After a few seconds, the guilt started seeping through, and the words she said struck her hard, and she collapsed to the ground in a sobbing heap.

How could she have said that to you? What a horrible person does that to someone they love, and gosh, she loves you so much. What was she supposed to do? You probably hate her now. 

In the end, Margaret would run after you, trying to apologize, and would be quiet after everyone settled down, too scared to ruin it again until you talked to her about it. 

❤️ Owen

Owen's jaw almost snapped as he clenched his teeth together. The words were already out of his mouth, and it felt good to let the anger go until he saw the look on your face, the shock of his words settling over the room until you turned to leave. 

The pride and relief he was feeling at his cutting words turned to dust. A pit opened in his stomach, and his mouth turned dry before you even walked out the door. He grabbed your hand and brought you to him in a bear hug. 

"Shit..... I'm so sorry, lass/duck/lad. I'm so bloody sorry."

Owen's voice raspy and muffled, hiding his face in your neck.

💙 Rosemary

Rosemary tried not to let her resolve crumble as you left the room, tears in your eyes. 

She won. 

Why did it not feel good?

Rosemary doesn't like being the one in the wrong, and she knew exactly what buttons to push with one glance. 

She tried to forget about it and bask in the glory. She trusted you that you were coming back because you loved her. 

Didn't you? You still loved her, right? 

The thoughts would creep in, filling her with anxiety as she would come to you, hoping to make amends. 

🩵 Tai

Stubbornness is what keeps Tai from going after you. Tai believed he was right, and nothing was going to change his mind. 

Not the way his stomach knotted when he thought about you. 

Or how he laid awake at night wanting to hold you, but being so scared you hated him now. 

Tai wouldn't go after you, but he would punish himself until the whole fight blew over and you came back to settle things, and the following week, after you two talked, you could tell that he was afraid that you were still mad at him, his touches being a little more constant, from hand holding to his foot touching yours under the table. 

💚 Zane

Zane wouldn't go after you, no matter how much he wanted to. 

Every thought he had would turn back to you and how he completely screwed up. You probably hated him now. 

Anything would tick him off until the fight ended, to the point that everyone stayed away from him like he was a bomb about to go off. 

That was until you finally came to him and the anger would completely disappear, and while he might bring it up once or twice to brag about you coming back to him after the fight is long forgotten about. 

In that moment, he would feel such relief and hope that it would completely turn into him wanting to take you to bed.

ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP STAGE:

💛 Marcel

Would low-key find MC's pout adorable and be amused by the MC's behavior, but would try to fix it the best way they can by buying something the MC enjoys—food, games, et cetera—to turn that pout back into a smile. 

🧡 Margaret

Using her puppy eyes a little to get you to tell her what she did, then, like Marcel, she would try to make up for her actions, but I don't think it would be from a place of amusement like Marcel but from a place of guilt. This relationship is important to her and her first one so she would be very nervous about this "fight."

❤️ Owen

He would raise an eyebrow at the pout and ask the MC what was wrong. Owen doesn't play games, especially when it comes to arguments, no matter how small, so he would ask outright what he could do to make the MC feel better or forgive him, but that doesn't mean he doesn't think that MC's little pout is adorable. Once the argument was all done and over, I could see him teasing the MC about it. 

💙 Rosemary

Rosemary would say sorry, and if the MC was still pouting, she would roll her eyes and be unbothered, even if it was kind of cute that the MC pouted around her in a dramatic fashion. Rosemary knows the MC will come back around to her eventually, especially if they are in a deep relationship. She fully trusts the MC, and when the MC does come back, she will make sure to smother them with kisses. 

🩵 Tai

Tai would be frustrated by it, as he does not like to be ignored, especially if he sees the argument as not that big of a deal. However, the moment he sees that pout, all his resolve breaks, and he would apologize to the MC in a gentle manner—well, gentle for Tai at least. 

💚 Zane

Mmmm, I want to say he would feel guilty even more so when he saw the pout, but knowing Zane, he wouldn't see it as guilt and more as anger because what did he have to be sorry for? than he would think that anger was pointed at MC and not himself. 😮‍💨MC and Zane would have a pout standoff, and in the end, it would have to be the MC who has to approach Zane.

When you didn't wake, all Marcel could do was force his breathing, because if he didn't, it would stop. His heart broke into a million pieces. You two weren't meant to be in the fates, but he was going to save you. He couldn't stop caring. He couldn't stop loving you, no matter what this meant. He tried to smile, gently moving some hair out of your eyes.

The eyes were still closed. 

"Don't worry, love; I'll find a way to break the curse if it is the last thing I do." He spoke softly in your ear, his voice clear and determined.

Margaret's body shook as she sobbed. From the moment she realized she loved you, she believed God or some kind of fate brought you together, like in the fairy tale books her mother read her as a kid.

But this was real life, and those were stories. There were no happy ever-afters. She failed you, and her body sagged against yours, her forehead touching your own as she kept whispering.

"Im sorry." Over and over again.

Usually when Owen was upset, it was anger that quickly followed, but as he watched your eyes stay closed, all he felt was sadness. Of course, you didn't wake up. 

How stupid do I have to be to think I deserve love again after....

Owen didn't want to think about him; he just sat there, cradling your head as rare tears ran down his cheek. 

💙 Rosemary

She rubbed soft circles in your hand, her tears flowing freely. As stupid as it sounded, she hadn't believed in true love since her ex, but that all changed when you came into her life. 

You made her believe again, and now you were gone—worse, then death—hell, in death she might be able to visit you. You were in an endless sleep, and she was awake. Alone and awake. 

She laid down beside you, closing her eyes as tears still poured out of them, hoping sleep would take her to you by some miracle. 

🩵 Tai

Tai was about cold, hard facts—something that was hard for him when it had anything to do with you. You were everything to him. He loved you. It scared him to death, but he loved you, and it wasn't meant to be by fate.

When the kiss didn't work, he felt like he couldn't breathe until he kissed you again. In a different angle, on your forehead, then on your cheek, until he realized he was crying. 

He didn't know what to do, and he hated it. It was worse than being wrong. He shook his head, holding you close. He was going to wake you up no matter the cost because maybe he wasn't your true love, but you were his, and that was a fact.

💚 Zane

".....no....no...." Zane whispered. 

All Zane felt was fury. You tricked him. Somehow you tricked him. Was this your plan to make him fall in love with you and then leave him....to what....break him? 

He got up and started pacing, pointing an accusing finger at you with your eyes still closed, mocking him. 

"You said... you said we were going to be together forever. You said you loved me! You liar! I love you! Why can't you love me?" He screamed, his anger not at you but at himself. 

He never knew what love was before you, so was it all a lie? Was it all some kind of story that people made up to make themselves feel better? Zane put his head in his hands, his mind racing as he questioned your relationship.

It broke him.

Marcel would never forgive himself; he would feel so guilty and do everything in his power to make it right. I could see him surprising you with something you really loved, like a night out at your favorite restaurant or watching your favorite movie, and trying to make it as special for you as possible. 

💙 Rosemary

Rosemary would test the waters; she is very good at reading people, so if you were upset, she would know. If you weren't upset, she would apologize to you, of course, over dinner or in private. If she could tell that you were upset, then that would be a whole other story. She knows how it feels to be disappointed, especially with a partner, and would try to fix it the best way she knew how with....romance. She is romantic at heart, so she would get all your friends and family to help set up a private moment between just the two of you. So you would be surprised when she drove you up to a romantic spot with fairy lights in the trees and a picnic basket that your aunt packed with all your favorite deserts. 

❤️ Owen

On the outside, it would seem that he didn't care at all that he missed your birthday, but on the inside, he would be so full of guilt. So anything you wanted, you got for a week. You need the trash taken out. Owen has it handled. You need to babysit Jezebel? Owen will help you get her to bed. You might not even notice it at first how Owen is buzzing around you like a bee. 

🧡 Margaret

Break down and cry. How could she do this to you? Her family always went big on birthdays and holidays, and this was no different, and she ruined yours. As soon as Margaret found out what she had done, she would jump into your arms and ask you to forgive her. I could see her buying you flowers and chocolates, even if you said you were fine. She would continue to do it until you finally had a sit-down conversation with her and told her that you had forgiven her. 

🩵 Tai

Tai would mentally kick himself. How could he forget your birthday? What kind of partner was he? Honestly, he would have a dramatic monologue in his head about how he was the worst partner ever until someone, whether it be Rosemary or Owen, told him to stop having a pity party. So to make it up to you, he made a romantic dinner. Food is something he has a passion for, and you are someone he loves dearly, so why not treat you to your favorite dish, no matter if it is junk food or unhealthy? Hell, it could be greasy hamburgers from the dinner up the street, and he would still serve them. 

💚 Zane

Zane would try to play it off that he didn't forget at all and try to plan something big for you, like a party with all your family and friends, even going as far as to help Marcel invite people since he isn't good in a social setting, which he would never speak of that he asked for help.

Marcel might be ashamed of so many things from his past, but not his hobbies. He would want to introduce you to bird watching and reading, something he enjoys a great deal, and while he might be a tiny bit worried you'll find him boring, he would understand if it wasn't your thing.

I can see her being a little embarrassed about her inexperience with relationships. She is so new to everything and would be so worried about ruining it for the both of you if you were in a relationship.

This one is a little harder for me, like Marcel. I would say that Owen is ashamed of a lot of things, but I think he doesn’t get embarrassed about anything that has happened in his past, hobbies, or even embarrassing moments. I could honestly just see him shrugging at you when you questioned him about something embarrassing he did and be like,

"Yeah? And?" 

💙 Rosemary

No. Rosemary is very in tune with herself and doesn't get embarrassed by much, but she does have a soft spot in her heart for romance and cheesy things that I could see her getting a little defensive about. 

🩵 Tai

Yes, but it would be in a very angry tone. Tai definitely keeps things close to his chest, like his love for cooking and western movies, so I imagine if you were to ask him about it, he would get angry until he realized that you were just curious, which he would force himself to apologize to you.  Although if you looked interested, he might cook for you or drop a western movie for you to watch. to bond with you.

💚 Zane

Yes! He does have his guilty pleasures; one that your character will be introduced to is that he loves kid cartoons. Which is very cute until he starts yelling at the TV to make the characters fight each other. He will be embarrassed when you find out in the main story.

💛 Marcel

Marcel wouldn't be able to stop the dopey smile that crossed his face when he looked at you.

You were just too cute.

Marcel's heart would do a little flip every time you came out in his clothing and would kind of hope you would wear it more often by offering you his jacket or hoodie. Or telling you that he hasn't done your laundry so I guess you're just going to have to wear his hoodie.

🧡 Margaret

Would be a little confused not only about why you were wearing her clothes but why she liked it so much? You had your clothes but you wore hers and compared to the body type of your MC they probably didn't fit very well either being too big or too little.

Then one day when she was alone put your clothes on and then completely understand.

She liked this. She liked it a lot.

Margaret would then giggle every time you came out in her outfits and feel giddy.

Very smug. Just smirking when you aren't looking, his eyes roaming your body.

He would pull you close. "You look good, Lass/Duck/Lad."

You looked at him with such sincerity that he felt his breath caught.

"You bloody fucking believe it." He threw you over his shoulder, a smile breaking over his face as you laughed when he carried you into a bedroom.

Would be surprised, her clothes aren't very comfortable as more stylish but she would enjoy how they looked on you.

Lightly teasing or giving you compliments about how cute you were, trying to make you a blushing mess or waiting for you to bring the teasing to another level.

I could see Rosemary thinking about it while you are asleep and just her heart feeling with adoration about the more domestic or stable bliss she found herself in after all the hurt.

His embarrassment and arousal would come off as anger.

"What the heck are you wearing? Is that mine?."

You could tell that Tai wasn't really mad because his face wasn't turning purple in anger but rather a nice shade of red that went with his pitch-high voice.

You grinned. "What do I not look good in it?"

Tai's eyes roamed your body, the blush turning do dark, he looked like a cherry. "No, I mean...I have to go!"

Tai ran out of the room, leaving you standing there smiling.

Every time you came out Tai would blush and look away although never told you that he hated it and in fact, he wished you did it more.

It is bold of you to assume Zane isn’t already doing this, honestly, he would see you wearing his clothes as a challenge and start stretching out your clothes.

You are wearing his favorite button shirt he pulls out your favorite outfit no matter what it is and puts it on.

But he would be very turned on by not just you wearing his clothes but him wearing your own, practically jumping you whenever you walked in and the next day he would be wearing your clothes.

Owen sighed, graded your face, and brought you in for a deep kiss, pulling away when you both ran out of breath, leaving you dizzy.

Rosemary smiled softly before giving you a teasing smile. "Mmm, a kiss now..."

Tai's cheeks were pink as he blushed, a wide look on his face as he stared at you. 

How could you have such an effect on him? His whole intelligent mind turned to mush in just a second, with the twinkle in your eye and your shy manner. You were getting flustered because of him, of all people. It was comical that he could have such an effect on you. 

You would start to turn away when Tai didn't answer, his face still blank beside his wide eyes, and you felt a wave of disappointment and embarrassment until you felt someone grab you gently and kiss you. 

Pulling back, Tai said. "You don't even have to ask."

Zane felt a shiver run up his spine in glee at your shy little nature.

On the outside, there was a cocky smile as he let out a small, strained chuckle. "Well, hello, little lion, did you have a good nap?" He said his eyes were brighter than you had ever seen before.

Before You can even answer that he kissed you as if his life depended on it. Zane's mind was racing, not even wanting to think about what would happen if he didn't wake up. If you weren't with him anymore, he couldn't imagine you leaving, the loneliness, and the hurt. He didn't want to. So Zane focused on your lips, never wanting to let you go again.

Owen licked his lips; it was kind of...sexy watching you nurse him back to health. Owen watched your hands as they moved away from him, wishing to hold it in his own hands for just a moment.

At first, Rosemary felt uncomfortable, but then her heart hammered into her chest. You weren't hurting her, but the thought of you doing something nice for her and not getting anything in return was so foreign to her that she had to hide her surprise thoughts and sly remarks like

"That you dollface/angelface/handsome for taking care of me—I would hate for this cut to leave a scar."

Tai tried to get out of it, rolled his eyes, and commented that he was a doctor and he would get it later, but you weren't having any of it. None of his comments seemed to deter you as you started putting ointment on his cut; however, Tai's comments died down. Thankfully,  you were too focused on your work to notice Tai's ruby-red face as he looked at your face, so close and yet so far. 

After Tai is done, he will have some remarks about your handy work, but his eyes will be a little softer.

Zane, much like rosemary, would feel uncomfortable; the feeling of being taken care of was so foreign to him that he would narrow his eyes at you the whole time, like this was some sort of plan. No crude remarks or comments. Just silence. But even Zane couldn't help but notice that everywhere you touched left his skin burning. It wasn't just arousal that he was feeling, but this flutter in his chest—he wanted you not to back up. To stay so close to him and to know that you are there.

Marcel covered you the best he could with his body, his eyes going wide for only a second. 

The child rubbed their eyes. "Daddy? What are you and [other parent] doing?" They were confused. 

Marcel's calming down just a little bit gave your child an innocent smile that would even fool you if you weren't part of his naughty misdeeds. 

"We can talk about it tomorrow." He quickly put on his robe and walked over to the child, carrying them to bed. "How about a story?" He said to distract the child until they could have a proper conversation tomorrow. 

🧡 Margaret

Margaret would yell in surprise, falling off the bed, leaving you laughing a little. 

"Mom, are you okay?" Margaret puts a hand out to stop the child from coming any closer. "Stay there! I'm fine! Totally completely fine!" 

Margaret sat on the floor with a red blush on your face, your child just looking more and more confused as you took charge, while Margaret wished the floor would swallow her whole.

Owen would curse. "Bloody hell! Feeling bad when he scared the poor child out of the room, leaving you glaring at him.

"Ugh…bugger." Owen ran a hand down his face. "I didn't mean to-they just surprised me is all-ill go talk to them."

The redhead got up and went to apologize to the kid, coming back after about an hour, not leaving until the child fell asleep.

💙 Rosemary

Rosemary would cover herself, practically forgetting about you, leaving you free from the covers until she widened in surprise, putting the covers over your most needed spots. 

"Mama... [other parent]... what are you doing?" Rosemary and your child yawned, eyes closed, as they looked tired. 

Rosemary would give you a look and a head nudge to take the child back to bed, which you did, the adrenaline kicking in as you escorted the kid back to their room. 

Rosemary laid her head back on the pillow with a deep sigh before laughing a little, waiting for you to get back. 

🩵 Tai

Horrified. Tai would think anyone walking in on him and you would make him pass out but his child?! Giving a child the birds and the bees talk was one thing but this was too much. He would push you off the bed, making you yelp in surprise.

Tai got up, covering himself with his cloak as he scolded your shared child, his voice a little high-pitched.

"Why didn't you knock?" He asked, leading the child out of the room.

"I know I raised you with manners, [Kid's Name]"

"I did!" Your child's stubbornness was showing, definitely getting it from Tai. "What were you and [other parent] doing anyway?"

Tai blushed a bright red. "We will talk later! Now go to your room! And no dessert for at least a week!"

You sighed as you heard your child and your husband continue to yell at each other

Zane hissed under his breath as he turned to curse anyone he dared to disturb him, but seeing it was your guy's kid, he stopped.

While Zane isn't at all a strict parent, he loves that kid more than life itself, and if it weren't for wanting alone time with the MC, he would spend all day playing with his little buddy.

"Papa, what are you doing to [the other parent]?"

Before Zane could even speak, you gave him a glare that made him pout. "Wrestling and we were having fun…uh…wrestling…what about you go back to sleep, kiddo, and leave us to our game?"

Your child frowned. "What do I get?"

Zane laughed putting his robe on and leaving you in bed. "How about a nice bowl of ice cream."

"With sprinkles!"

"I'll race you!" Zane said as the child took off, Zane turned back to you. "You stay here and keep getting warmed up…" He said with a sly look.

Watch as Marcel's face changes to the biggest smile that you have ever seen, picking you up and spinning you around. 

"You're awake!" Marcel hugged you tighter, his excitement coating you in warmth. 

"Ugh...excuse me?" The other man said this, looking between you two. "I think I'm their true love." 

You see realization cross his face as the truth of the matter finally sets in like a storm over the relief of you being okay. 

Marcel took a step back from you, an understanding smile on his face, although you saw the heart break in his eyes and couldn't stand it. 

"No. My true love is right here." You said that, closing the gap between you and Marcel. 

"Are you sure?" Marcel whispered, not hesitating to wrap you in his arms. "I'll understand-" 

You kissed Marcel, sealing your love with a kiss.

Heartbreak was clear on Margaret's face, tears streaming down her cheeks. 

How could she have been so stupid? 

She doesn't even look back as she runs out of the room. You follow her hot on her trail, shoving the other woman out of the way. 

"Margaret! Wait!" 

You caught up to her, catching her by the sleeve. 

"Just let me go, MC." Margaret said it meekly, pulling her arm away from you as if she were on fire. 

"Why? Because of what some stupid cruse says? I don't care about them, Margaret! I love you!" 

"...MC..." 

"No! Margaret, I love you!" You said, yelling, your heart racing as you tried to get your point across, gently turning Margaret's face towards your own, tears still streaming. 

"I love you too." Margaret whispered. "But true love" 

You kissed her nose. "You're my true love, and I'll fight for you as long as you have me." You wrapped your arms around Margaret, who hugged you tighter. "Don't leave me." She whispered. 

"I wouldn't dare."

You saw Owen grab the other guy from stepping towards you.

"Don't touch them," the redhead said, his eyes cold. 

The other man scoffed. "Why? They are my true love." 

At that, Owen's eyes softened with sadness as he looked towards you, who walked over to him, tugging on his arm. 

"He isn't worth it, Owen. You have me anyway; you always have." 

Owen pulled you close to him, his face buried in your hair. "Do you want this....do you want me, Lass/Duck/Lad?" 

"Always." You whispered back, ignoring the outraged cry of the other man as Owen kissed you.

Rosemary looks up at you and then at the other woman, running her eyes down both of you through the tears as if trying to get a read on you. 

But only you had eyes for Rosemaey as you walked towards her, ignoring the rant of the other woman. 

"Rosemary...." 

You stepped closer, kissing her hands. "Really? I think it's quite clear that I want to be with you." 

Rosemary smiled a little, tears streaming down her face as she tried not to let the heartbreak show. "It seems we have a predicament, dollface/angelface/ handsome." She whispered, For the first time, you see, she does not look so sure of herself. 

Rosemary frowned a little, trying not to let her hope to show. "But the curse..." 

"it is a stupid curse! You are my true love, Rosemary, no matter what, this stupid mag-" 

Rosemary cuts you off with a kiss on the lips, then leans back a little, only to try and wipe her ruined makeup away. "I must look like a mess." 

"My mess." You said that, bringing her in for another kiss. 

🩵 Tai

Tai was completely unreadable. No emotions. No sadness. No happiness. Not anything. He was just as stoic as ever, like every wall that you have been trying to break down with love has gone back up, but this time Tai was just holding it together. 

The other man said, "It is lovely to meet such a gorgeous..." 

You only move your head towards the man to tell him to piss off, but when you went to look towards Tai, he was walking out the door, his lips pressed in such a thin line. 

"Tai! Wait!" You ran towards him, only catching up to him a moment later, when you two were already out of the room, catching him by the sleeve. 

"Let me go, MC." Tai said, his voice monotone, like the first day he met you. 

"Never! I could never let you go, Tai." 

Tai tensed as he turned around towards you, his resolve only breaking for a moment to really see the hurt in his eyes until the walls were built up again. "The fact is that you and I aren't meant to be." 

You cut in with the same knowing, mocking tone that he usually wears and that you have come to love. "The fact is that I know my heart. I know my heart wants you, Tai. Not anyone else but you." 

Tai shakes his head, pulling back a little. "You can’t know that." 

"You know me, Tai. Would I ever lie to you about this?" 

Tai studied your face, his walls breaking down one by one as you saw the tears steam down his face and a shaky hand held yours. "I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I kept you away from your one true love." 

You smiled, putting your arms around him. "Then get out of your own way Tai because your my only true love and that's a fact." 

💚 Zane

First, you would feel the room run cold, being able to see your breath as the other man looked confused. 

But you weren't. You felt the anger in the air as the room suddenly got darker as you saw Zane, shadows moving around him like wind and eyed pure black. 

"Stay. Away. From. Them." The voice that came out of Zane was demonic. Pure fury. The shadows picked the other man up who screamed in terror. 

With pure adrenaline, you ran up to Zane and kissed him, his pure black eyes going wide in surprise until he deepened the kiss. 

You frowned a little when you felt water on your face and pulled back to see your Zane, gray eyed back to normal and shadows back to their original form. 

Zane let out a shaky breath. "You lied to me...you said that you loved me." He spoke in a whisper that made your heart jump as you put your forehead on his. "U love you. I love you. I love you." 

You kept repeating as Zane held you closer, burying his face into your shoulder, falling for your "trap" again. Although it took a few minutes for him to relax, eventually he did after he was sure you were his forever and always.

Rosemary's heart raced as she stared at you before she gently woke you up.

"Dollface/Angelface/Handsome...you know it is quite rude to fall asleep on a lady such as myself, but I'll give you a pass just this time."

Tai felt the need to shove you off; however, he stopped himself. It wasn't like you were going to comment—you were asleep. 

So he stayed still, letting you rest on his shoulder, a blush on his face as he mumbled to himself about how this would have never happened if you practiced the healthy amount of sleep you needed. 

He made sure to comment on your sleep habits when you woke up.

Zane felt frozen. It was such an innocent action. You were tired, so you trusted Zane enough to let your guard down. 

Let him watch over you like a sleeping lamb. He chuckled a little, watching your expressions change in your sleep, his heart beating at the thought of you putting your faith in him.
