Introduction
In the dynamically changing world of application development lies the process for making a successful mobile application, one that goes beyond coding and design. There are loads of software developers and companies that are liable to fall into such blunders, which may bring project failure, wasting of resources, loss of opportunity, and dissatisfaction with the user experience. These mistakes should be avoided, and this can be so by developing a user-friendly and high-quality application following market standards. In this blog, we are going to talk about the top ten mistakes one can avoid while developing any mobile application. You can ensure the success of your app by finding and fixing such probable issues at an early stage in development. This will guarantee that your software has real value for your users and help you stand out from a bunch of competition.
What is Mobile Application Development?
Mobile application development simply refers to the development of software or an app used in mobile devices, which range from tablets down to smartphones. It consists of concept generation, design, development, testing, and deployment. This is where programming languages and frameworks specific to certain mobile platforms — such as Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS — are used by developers. Some critical considerations for mobile app development will be user interface design, security, and performance.
Three types of mobile applications are: web-based, cross-platform, and native. Cross-platform apps function across various platforms, native apps are created exclusively for a single platform, and web apps run on a browser. The goal of developing mobile apps is to offer an effortless, interesting, and useful user interface that is appropriate for the special qualities and limitations of mobile devices.
What Are the Mistakes to Avoid When Developing a Mobile App?
1. Not Identifying the need
It is a grave error to overlook the reason behind your mobile app. If you do not know what needs your app to fill in the market or solve what problem it does, you could develop a pointless and unattractive app. To make sure your app fulfills actual user needs and provides worthwhile solutions, it is critical to carry out in-depth market research. Understanding your app’s goal and the needs of your target market will allow you to design a useful and interesting app.
2. Picking up a mobile app development company or Freelance app developer without enough research
Inadequate research while choosing a development partner can lead to disappointing results and poor performance. Hire mobile app developers or assess potential mobile app development companies based on their expertise in technology, dependability, portfolios, and client testimonials. Verify that they are aware of your goals and have a track record of developing successful mobile applications that closely align with your vision.
3. Underestimating the total cost
Underestimating the entire cost of developing a mobile application could result in unforeseen costs and fruitless endeavors. The expenses of development, design, testing, deployment, and continuing maintenance must be planned for. A realistic budget and a strategy for unforeseen expenses are essential to the project’s success and the achievement of its goals.
4. Not considering making an MVP
If a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is not developed, there can be a waste of resources and missed opportunities for client feedback. When you set up an MVP, you may get user input, make informed modifications, and release an initial version of your app with just the most basic features. This iterative method ensures that the product meets customer expectations and helps to enhance it before progressing with full-scale development.
5. Building a poor UI
A badly designed user interface (UI) can harm app usage and satisfaction. User interface design that satisfies platform requirements and user preferences should be given first consideration. Ui should also be appealing and intuitive. The user experience becomes more smooth and interesting when you invest in good UI/UX design, and this boosts positive feedback and user retention.
6. Adding too many features
Adding too many features to an app can confuse consumers and make development more difficult. Concentrate on the fundamental features that address the main issue or requirement. Introduce new features gradually in response to user feedback and demand and make sure that each addition improves the value and usability of the app without overloading users.
7. Adding too many mobile platforms initially
Launching on many platforms at the same time could affect resources and make development more complicated. Begin with a single platform, either iOS app development or Android app development. This should depend on your intended demographic. Before launching on other platforms, optimize the app, get feedback, and ensure stability. This staged strategy facilitates resource management and enhances overall app quality.
8. Not testing the app sufficiently
Insufficient testing can lead to errors, crashes, and unpleasant user experiences. Perform comprehensive testing on a range of operating systems, devices, and scenarios of use. Include beta testing with actual users to detect problems and collect feedback. Thorough testing guarantees an application that is reliable, stable, meets user expectations, and functions well in everyday situations.
9. Not taking feedback
The success of the app may suffer if user feedback is ignored. Actively seek and analyze early user feedback to discover trouble spots and opportunities for improvement. Utilize these comments to inform future app updates that will improve functionality, fix bugs, and cater to user preferences. Engaging with users demonstrates that their ideas matter, which promotes loyalty and satisfaction.
10. The Unplanned market launch of the App
An unexpected market launch can result in a poor initial response and wasted chances. Create an accurate launch strategy that includes plans for user acquisition, marketing, and promotion. Make sure the app successfully reaches its target demographic by managing its launch through a variety of media. A well-executed launch increases visibility, user engagement, and the app’s chance of success.
Conclusion
These are the steps that would let you help make your app development a success. The better one understands the market, the more timely adjustments to one’s app can be done. Understanding common mistakes could set up new standards for development. Right from identification of need and customer validation to testing and launching on the right platform, proper customer surveys and feedback hold the key to securing your resources. The success of the app itself is hinged on engaging the right mobile app development company since its quality and how users experience it is based on the level of expertise of the developers and how well they have understood the vision. This all-inclusive approach of avoiding mistakes and embracing user input laid down the pedestal for a successful mobile application that will get market share and user satisfaction.

Why MVP Development is Crucial for Startups?
Tumblr media
In the fast-paced world of startups, the pressure to deliver innovative products quickly and efficiently is immense. One of the most effective strategies to navigate this high-pressure environment is through Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development. The MVP approach allows startups to launch a basic version of their product with essential features, gather user feedback, and make iterative improvements. This method is crucial for several reasons, including validating market demand, conserving resources, accelerating time-to-market, and reducing risks.
Validating Market Demand
For any startup, understanding whether there is a genuine demand for their product is fundamental. MVP development enables startups to test their assumptions about market needs with real users. By releasing a product with core functionalities, startups can gather early feedback and assess user interest. This feedback loop is invaluable, as it helps identify whether the product solves a real problem or if it needs adjustments. For example, Dropbox started as a simple MVP video demonstrating its concept, which helped gauge user interest and gather early adopters. This validation step prevents startups from investing significant time and resources into a product that might not resonate with the market.
Conserving Resources
Startups often operate with limited resources, making it essential to use them wisely. Developing a full-fledged product from the outset can be costly and time-consuming. MVP development, on the other hand, focuses on building only the essential features necessary to test the product hypothesis. This lean approach reduces development costs and minimizes wastage of resources. For instance, the founders of Airbnb started by renting out air mattresses in their apartment to test the concept of short-term lodging. This MVP approach allowed them to validate their idea without significant investment. By conserving resources, startups can ensure they have the necessary capital to iterate and improve their product based on user feedback.
Accelerating Time-to-Market
Speed is a critical factor in the success of startups. The ability to launch a product quickly can provide a competitive advantage, allowing startups to capture market share before competitors enter the scene. MVP software development accelerates the time-to-market by focusing on core functionalities and eliminating unnecessary features. This rapid deployment not only helps in gaining early adopters but also provides a platform for continuous improvement based on real-world usage. Instagram, for example, started as a simple photo-sharing app with basic features. The swift launch enabled them to attract users rapidly and iterate on the product, eventually becoming a dominant player in social media.
Reducing Risks
Launching a fully developed product without prior user testing involves significant risks. If the product fails to meet user expectations, the startup could face financial losses, wasted effort, and damaged reputation. MVP development mitigates these risks by allowing startups to test the waters with a simplified version of their product. Early user feedback highlights potential issues, enabling startups to address them before investing in further development. This approach also helps in pivoting the business model if necessary. Twitter, originally conceived as a podcasting platform called Odeo, pivoted to a microblogging site based on user feedback gathered from their MVP. By reducing risks, MVP development increases the chances of a startup's long-term success.
Facilitating Iterative Development
One of the hallmarks of successful products is continuous improvement based on user feedback. MVP development inherently supports an iterative process where startups can make incremental improvements to their product. Each iteration is informed by user data, ensuring that the product evolves to meet user needs more effectively. This process of refinement not only enhances the product's value proposition but also helps in building a loyal customer base. Slack, the popular team collaboration tool, started as an internal communication tool for a game development company. Through iterative development and user feedback, Slack transformed into a comprehensive platform widely used by businesses worldwide.
Engaging Early Adopters
Early adopters play a crucial role in the success of startups. These users are willing to try new products and provide valuable feedback that can guide the development process. MVP development attracts early adopters by offering them an opportunity to influence the product's evolution. Their insights help in identifying pain points, suggesting new features, and validating product improvements. Engaging with early adopters creates a sense of community and fosters brand loyalty. This relationship is mutually beneficial, as startups gain advocates who can help spread the word and drive organic growth.
Building a Lean Startup Culture
Adopting the MVP approach aligns with the lean startup methodology, which emphasizes creating more value with fewer resources. This culture of efficiency and user-centric development is essential for startups aiming for sustainable growth. By focusing on delivering value quickly and iteratively, startups can adapt to changing market conditions and user preferences. The lean startup culture encourages experimentation, learning from failures, and making data-driven decisions. This mindset is crucial for navigating the uncertainties and challenges inherent in the startup ecosystem.
Conclusion
In conclusion, MVP development is a vital strategy for startups aiming to achieve rapid, sustainable growth. By validating market demand, conserving resources, accelerating time-to-market, reducing risks, facilitating iterative development, engaging early adopters, and building a lean startup culture, MVP development lays a solid foundation for success. Startups that embrace this approach are better positioned to navigate the complexities of the market, adapt to user needs, and ultimately build products that resonate with their target audience. As the startup landscape continues to evolve, the importance of MVP development in driving innovation and growth cannot be overstated.

Buffalo Bills Run with Whatever Works
Congratulations to the Dallas Cowboys on making the playoffs.  Don’t spend too long gloating in smart-assed invitations to ironically rue, as America’s Hated Team will be our second-favorite team this weekend while facing the Dolphins.  Noticing which disagreeable franchise resides in the same division makes it easy to decide who deserves more enmity.  Every week is a new start, as seen by a Buffalo Bills team that found a way to win unconventionally by their own standards.
Knowing it’s possible is sufficient.  Coincidences highlight how magic our wonderful world is, such as how the offense just happened to open up when Josh Allen started threatening to run.  I don’t know where Ken Dorsey is now, but he should be sent to The Hague.  His crimes against the Bills warrant prosecution.  It’s easy to complain about him after every win and also fun.  The fact he deserves it makes piling on acceptable.  I hope he’s fuming at home watching the true MVP he restrained thrive once liberated.  Being free of his crimes against football shouldn’t excuse unaccountability.
Looking better by not being awful like their predecessor is insufficient on its own.  The Don Granato strategy is only good relative to the franchise’s own history and may not show enough external improvement.  But the Bills look more like themselves, including when compared to others.
One running back got the Bills to the cusp of the end zone while the other finished the job.  The scorer is a special rusher who’s also skilled at utilizing this forward pass maneuver that seems to be gaining popularity.  Don’t shy away from exploiting Allen’s multiple talents.  Alice Cooper isn’t afraid to have Johnny Depp play guitar with him just because he has another career pretending to be other people.
Avoiding risk is a great way to do the same with success.  There’s always a tradeoff even with welcome results.  Anyone who says otherwise is trying to rip you off.  There is going to be wear and tear if you want to use something.  Shielding Allen from contact also means he can’t spearhead wins.  You can dodge rejection if you never ask anyone out.
One can’t enjoy an item without using it.  Keep a Ferrari in a garage to ensure it never gets scratched and also to never gain any value aside from looking at it.  Taking it out for a drive doesn’t mean being reckless about leaning on the front.  But you could put on miles even if Mister Frye fumes.
I just wish there were an applicable metaphor for preparing food to apply to letting a back named Cook get the ball.  Let James bake.
Bills fans are optimistic after a game where Allen passed for a grand total of 94 yards.  He must really suck.  Eh: maybe he should keep his job.  The Bills wisely took what was available.  Neutralizing Dallas’s pass rush by rushing past was an amusing way to frustrate them.
Sell high on rushing to keep the team’s overall price rising.  Everyone anticipates the Chargers bracing for a similar onslaught from Cook.  The threat of it happening is enough to scare them, which should open up the passing game for a crazy triple-digit evening.  The Bills finally have an offensive coordinator who grasps the concept of attacking on whichever front features a thin defensive deployment.
A statistical reflection of domination tells the game’s story if you sadly missed it.  If you’re a Cowboys fan who didn’t get to watch, I’m really sad you missed it.  The Bills dominated in categories aside from their own throwing as testament to how the game flowed.
But numbers don’t tell the whole story any more than the learn’d astronomer could convey how amazing the sky looks with charts and diagrams.  Viewers know how dominantly the Bills played.  I realize I waited for it to get close through most of the outing.  Dallas delightfully disappointed in the second-best alliteration associated with the city.
The play reflected the numbers.  It felt like Buffalo shoved better even if you didn’t notice the score.  This offense simply looks more impressive since swapping out their criminally inept kingpin.
The surge might be insufficient in light of how long they idled.  The Bills put themselves in the sort of situation where they say things about only being able to control results of their own games since they don’t hold the same option with their destiny.  Dealing with consequences of what’s already happened is both a mature style of acceptance and the best motivation to improve next time.
We’re all in a constant battle to overcome the past.  We like sports because they offer a reminder of how much life sucks.  Is it too late for Spike Spiegel to move beyond what’s happened?  The Bills strive to escape the burden of a previous coordinator’s mortifying philosophy.  This team finally figured out the best way to help Josh is to use him as a distraction first.  Opening opportunities for teammates maddeningly wasn’t the plan all along, but at least it is now.

What The Lean
Startup by Eric Rise talks about
Tumblr media
Eric Ries ground-breaking book
The Lean Startup has completely changed how entrepreneurs think about starting profitable firms. The lean startup methodology, which fosters quick experimentation, verified learning, and iterative product creation, is introduced by Ries.
The typical approach to startups frequently entails business owners devoting a large amount of time and money to developing products without taking market demand or consumer feedback into account. Ries contests this strategy, contending that it results in high failure rates and resource wastage. Instead, he is in favor of a methodical strategy that emphasizes ongoing learning and adaptation and views companies as experiments.
Tumblr media
The Build-Measure-Learn feedback loop serves as the foundation of the lean startup technique. This cycle entails creating a minimum viable product (MVP), assessing how it affects users, and taking note of user input. Startups can swiftly iterate their products based on actual data and user insights by repeating this cycle.
Validated learning is a crucial component of the lean startup technique. Ries emphasizes the significance of recognizing and testing assumptions via the formulation and testing of hypotheses. Startups can lessen uncertainty and make choices with greater certainty by validating or refuting these assumptions.
The book "The Lean Startup" also looks at numerous methods and equipment that business owners can utilize to successfully apply the lean startup methodology.
These include of creating useful metrics to track progress, testing hypotheses through split testing, and putting continuous deployment into practice to quickly iterate on products.
Ries explores the difficulties faced by new startups as well as how larger companies may apply lean startup concepts to promote innovation, reduce risks, and maintain competitiveness in a market that is changing quickly.
He emphasizes the necessity for big businesses to develop an internal ecosystem that fosters innovation and supports entrepreneurship.
Overall, "The Lean Startup" provides entrepreneurs at all phases of their business journeys with useful insights and concrete guidance. Ries proposes a paradigm for enhancing the likelihood of producing successful goods while decreasing waste and maximizing possibility for growth by stressing consumer feedback, continual experimentation, and learning.
It is still advised to read the entire book to obtain a thorough grasp of the lean startup methodology and its practical applicability in a variety of business scenarios, even though this summary gives a more thorough review of the book's key topics. For anyone interested in entrepreneurship and innovation, "The Lean Startup" is a must-read.

The Perfect Mobile App Launch Strategy: Pre-Launch and Post-Launch Best Practices!
Tumblr media
Today, mobile apps form the base for almost every user query. Whether a user wants information about something, wants to buy something, or book a ticket, the mobile app plays a critical role. And fortunately, there are thousands of apps available.   This is where the glitch occurs. As per stats, over 90 thousand apps were released in October 2022. As the number of apps is high and accelerating, it can be tough for you to stand out. There are various key things that can save you from being lost in the ocean of apps. You need to focus on its development, design, testing, and deployment to reinforce your app for the best.   Yes, deployment may seem like an easy process, but a mobile app launch strategy needs to be in place for successful deployment. There are numerous aspects to it, and we will uncover them in this article.   Why is a mobile app launch strategy important? A mobile app launch strategy is important for a lot of reasons. A planned mobile app launch helps you highlight the key USP of the product. On top of that, you can capture the attention of the right audience and formulate a perfect marketing strategy.   Launching the mobile app with a planned process can also help you measure the success of the app. You can set goals and monitor KPIs after the launch.   Now, the successful launch of a mobile app has two phases. The pre-app launch phase and the post-app launch phase. Let’s read ahead and discuss these phases.   The pre-mobile app launch checklist! No matter if it is a gaming app, social media app, or any other, there is a checklist that you have to implement. 1. Research the market and the competitors As per stats, 35% of apps fail because there is no market need for them. Moreover, 20% of app startups fail because they get out-competed. These stats clearly show that thorough market and competitor research is necessary, not just before launch but before the inception of the development process.   With proper research, you can find
·         What the market demands
·         What are your competitor's upto
·         Their shortcomings
·         Their positive points
Based on this, you can formulate your app launch strategy.   2. Tease your app on social media platforms There are millions of users on social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, etc. If you wish to get the best out of your app, it is critical to tease your app on social media. You can post access form links, early bird access offers, and more to attract people.   Add in the key USPs of the app and help users understand what they are signing up for. To make it better, you can take emails from the users to keep them updated. 3. Market your app This may seem like an early step. But there is no harm in being ahead of schedule. Hence, you can begin marketing your app before launch or even while the development is underway. It will help you capture the attention of more users and might also build a positive image of your app.   To market the app, you can hire an influencer, launch a product MVP, and make and post videos. 4. Make a lucrative landing page Your website is the most trusted asset of your business. Most users will trust your app if your website is well-built. As per stats, 75% of users build the credibility of a brand based on their website design. Keeping this in mind, it is crucial to ensure that you build a stimulating landing page for your app. 5. App Store optimization It is obvious that you will launch your app on App Store or Google PlayStore. Therefore, it is best to work on optimizing your app for the app store. To ensure that your app downloads skyrocket after release, you must focus on the following!Add high-quality images of the app.
·         Write top-notch descriptions
·         Use focussed keywords
With all these factors in place, your app will surely rank higher than others and may even get featured among the top apps. 6. Set a date for the app release After you are sure about the app design and functionality, set a date of release.   The post-mobile app launch checklist! So, you are all set to launch an app. And now you have launched it. Now what? Launching your app is only one side of the game. The real game begins now. You need to do certain things after the app is launched.   Here are some of them! 1. Link the app to your content When you are producing content for app promotion or marketing post-launch, make sure you embed the app link everywhere. Whether it is a social media post, ad, email, video, image, blog, user comment, or whatnot, your app download link should be in it. 2. Encourage face-to-face promotion When your app is launched, encourage your users to go out there and promote the app face-to-face. This method is known as word-of-mouth marketing and is one of the effective methods to boost awareness. As per stats, 83% of marketers use word-of-mouth marketing to boost brand awareness. 3. Keep a check on user responses User responses can be of various types, like app ratings, reviews, comments, etc. There will be a lot of user responses on app stores, social media channels, websites, and other sources. Make sure you keep an eye on all of them and answer the questions if any. User responses can be a great resource for future app updates. 4. Go a bit deeper than responses There are users that may not care to report the issue about the app; they may just leave the app and never come back. This can be a big plot hole in your Mobile app launch strategy. Therefore, with the help of KPIs like session time, repeat use, usage frequency, exit rate, etc., you can map the user’s journey and find out the impediments to a better user experience. 5. Leverage paid ads As you have done your best for awareness earlier, not all of the users would have seen your video, image, or post. Hence, it is time to bring out the big gun. As you now have something to show for, you can run paid ads on social media like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.   Along with promised app awareness, these ads also increase the possibility of more leads, app downloads, and positive reviews. 6. Focus on updates After you are done collecting feedback from different sources, plan out your app update development and release strategy. As your online presence is highly dependent on your app’s performance, it needs to be top-notch to ensure faster adaptation to new trends and as per user feedback.   Launch Mistakes That May Cost You! Along with implementing and planning steps of a mobile app launch strategy, it is also imperative to check the pitfalls. Here are some mistakes that you need to avoid.
 ·         Not launching the MVP first can be the biggest blunder. A minimum viable product should be launched before the full app to get an idea of the market requirements. It helps save money, time, and effort.
·         Missing out on the right on boarding practices can also lead to lower CTR and revenue. Make sure while launching the app, ask for only the required information, keep on boarding screens compact, maintain a simple sign-up process, etc.
·         Generalizing the audience can be your biggest mistake, as you may end up marketing to an audience that has nothing to do with your app. This will also lead to a waste of money and time.
Conclusion An app can be a perfect Kickstarter for your business. Hence, you need to focus a lot on it, from its development to post-launch services. As there will be a lot on your plate, handling everything simultaneously will be tough. Hence, you may need a professional for this. To ensure a smooth app launch, you can get in touch with Octos Global Solutions and get a quote.

HOW TO DEVELOP A CRYPTO TRADING BOT FROM SCRATCH?
Introduction
In the crypto market, trades occur all day and night. Average human beings can’t monitor their movement 24*7. Even full-time traders can’t do it. This kind of problem leads to restricting the profits they earn. To solve this problem, trading bots were introduced.
A crypto trading bot is developed to trade cryptocurrencies while traders are not able to monitor the trades all the time. The crypto trading bot is automated computer software that provides 24/7 monitoring of the crypto market. It is considered a lucrative option for full-time traders.
Let’s explore how crypto trading bot development works.
Tumblr media
STEP 1 — Gather the requirements
Identify the business purpose for which you want to develop the bot. For example, trading bots can be developed for arbitrage, automation, and market-making. Gather all the necessary requirements listed below.
The primary requirement is selecting a suitable programming language to develop it. Python, Javascript, Pearl, and C are the most common programming languages used for bot development.
The secondary requirement is choosing the best trading bot strategy to maximize the trade.
STEP 2 — MVP Development
MVP stands for Minimum Viable Product. It is a product with limited features that are checked first and tested as a demo product before moving it to the development stage. Creating a prototype helps to make changes and rectify the problem that occurs in the early stage.
STEP 3 — Design & Development
After creating and testing the prototype, the development cycle takes place in which the front-end and back-end teams work simultaneously. Most crypto trading bots are developed using Python because it is easier to implement. During the development stage, all the features are added to the bot.
Front-end — The front-end developers design the website and dashboard with excellent UI & UX elements for convenient usage.
Back-end — The back-end developers write code for the bot to operate effectively without lags.
STEP 4 — Deployment & Testing
Testing is done after the deployment of the crypto trading bot. Bugs are identified and solved by developers and reverted to the testing engineers. Several tests are done on the product to evaluate its performance and make sure the tested product will ensure reliability and security. The following tests are done by testing engineers are.
Unit Testing — It is a type of software testing method to isolate each part to check whether written code is working as expected.
Functional Testing — This kind of software testing is used to test each input that is given and verify the outcome from it against the functional requirements/specifications.
End to end Testing — It is testing the software from the beginning to its end for the workflow.
STEP 5 — Launch
After testing, It is an apt time for deploying and launching the bot in real-time. Make sure about the type of platform it releases. Because the platform is the medium that increases the reach of the product among customers
Conclusion
Crypto trading bot attracts all the investors and the traders. If you want a stable income from trading even while sleeping, develop a bot on your own or choose a Cryptocurrency trading bots development company and avail their services.
