Words can not describe what you feel right now.
Your heart is pumping so loud in your chest as you read the red ink on the white Paper. You don’t want to believe it. It seems impossible. But it’s standing here red on white that your precious mother has passed away in a gang battle of those damn sinners.
Your tears soften the paper and the red ink smeared the down written words. Your body starts to shake under the pressure of anxiety.
Lucifer was out on a meeting with the other six sins.
At first he didn’t even want to go on a meeting knowing that your mental health wasn’t on its best shape. The panic attacks were way viler when he was not there.
Nonetheless you told him you were fine, and he will go to this meeting. He was hiding all those years and you’ll not be in the way of a reunion.
At first you were doing alright. Watching your comfort movie with your comfort snack was relaxing.
Your pajama was comfortable and your favorite plush was seated on your belly. You giggled at your favorite scene and hugged your plushie more on you.
A loud knocking hollowed through the huge Mainor you now call home. Lucifer didn’t tell you; he was expecting something. Confused you pressed on pause and walked down the hall. Your tail tangled itself on your leg hoping for some comfort.
As you opened those huge doors a small Imp, just like you. He gave you a black Envelope with your name in white ink. The Imp gave you a slight bow and left fast.
You walked down the hall back to the bedroom. You opened the black envelope and read the content.
Now you were at the verge of a panic attack.
Sweat pearling down your forehead and you rolled into a small ball on the floor. The papier laid on the red carpet and you are right next to it.
Your tail was wrapped around you, yet it didn’t help you to feel connected to your body. You shook hard but all you could focus about was your mind running.
Memories of your lovely mother, the one who read stories to you at night to cradle you.
The way she smiled at you when you told her you were in love. How she told you she’s so proud of you. How he held your hand through your marriage.
And now she’s gone.
Killed brutally like the Imp she was. Like the Imp you are. Another proof that no one cares about the life of an Imp.
The ringing in your head just seems to get louder, louder, and louder. Clutching your hands on your head trying to ease the painful headache that had begun.
Your breathing was starting to get heavier and heavier, it got to the point where you thought you couldn’t breathe anymore.
A hand pulled you out of your curled form pressing you on his chest. You immediately recognize that this is your husband.
Lucifer whispers in your ear and stroked your back in a comforting matter. He cradled your body and kissed your cheek multiple times.
“Everything is okay, I’m here. Just take a deep breath in... And out.” You followed his instructions. In and out. Your hand grasp around his torsi pulling him even closer.
The oxytocin was filling your lungs again and your broken cries filled the air.
Even after-hours Lucifer never let go.
Lucifer doesn't know what happened that cost this state, but all he knows is that you need him. And that's exactly what he's going to do.
Lucifer carried you up to your sharing bed when your light snoring reached his ears. He hugged you close shutting his eyes, grabbing your waist tightly making you feel protective.
______
You rubbed your eyes exhausted from the panic attack yesterday.
As you spun around to look at your husband, Lucifer wasn’t beside you. Again the anxiety filled your ribcage, it was hard to breath.
“Lucifer?!” The door of your shared bedroom sprung open reveling your husband in one of those silly aprons he has. Your body quickly relaxed at the sight of him.
“Darling you’re awake!” His smile was precious and contagious. He moved rather fast towards you, and he stumbled. With grace he caught your breakfast and smiled nervously at you. “I made for you breakfast!” You laughed at his antics and took it out of his hands.
You gave him a peck on the lips and sat down on the bed. Lucifer followed you to the bed but didn't sit down.
Lucifers eyes sparkled when you ate his food. But frowned slightly when you suddenly stopped eating and played with the food.
With a sigh be plopped beside you. “Babe,” He placed the tray on the nightstand and intertwined your hands in his. “You know you can tell me everything.” You nod as you looked on your intertwined hand watching as he strokes his thumb on your hand. His clawed nail tapped on your shared ring.
“Look me in the face, darling.” His other hand moved your head upwards and your e/c orbs meet his red scarlet ones.
Without much thought you gave him the letter you received yesterday. He released your chin and took the letter out of your hand. Lucifers eyes left yours hesitant and he skips through the information.
His hands clenched around yours in a comforting way after he finished. “Y/n I’m so sorry. I…” He took a deep breath and pressed you again onto his chest. “Everything will be alright darling.”
Your crying was breaking his heart. But letting out emotion is better than letting them eat you up. He knows it the best.
You two had almost a whole spa day.
Lucifer took care of you perfectly, just everything you needed.
His hand in yours like he promised in the wedding. Through thick and thin. The whole day, it was just you and him with pure affection.
Lucifer and you were cuddled up on your couch. Your head was resting on his lap, and he played with your hand strands. “I Love you, Y/n Morningstar.” He said and pecked your lips. “I love you too, Lucifer Morningstar.”

ATLANTA (TND) — Georgia state Rep. Mesha Mainor reports receiving an influx of racist hate mail after switching from the Democratic Party to the GOP earlier this month.
Mainor, who has served as a Democrat in the Georgia General Assembly since 2020, made the decision to leave the party earlier this month after finding herself at odds with her Democratic colleagues and constituents for months. Tensions erupted earlier this year when she stood alone as the only Democrat to support a school voucher bill.
“I didn’t leave the Democratic party. The Democratic party left ME,” she said via Twitter.
Mainor shared on social media several of the emails she received after leaving the Democratic Party, many of which included racist language and invoked slavery and Black stereotypes.
“Dear Democrat, I’m sorry you feel this way. I pray everyone has a great Sunday! It’s another day the Lord has made,” Mainor said in response to an email that alleged her political transition was in exchange for “more yams and collards.”
“Dear Democrat, I’m sorry you feel this way,” she responded to another email suggesting that all conservatives should commit suicide. “Support for anyone with thoughts of self- harm can be accessed by calling #988.”
Georgia Republicans have welcomed Mainor with open arms, describing her as a “strong fit for GOP.”
“Representative Mainor has demonstrated a courage of her convictions that I admire,” Georgia Speaker Pro Tem Jan Jones in a press release. “She has fought to give choices to Georgia families trapped in failing public schools, and we welcome her to the Republican caucus, and we’re ready to get to work.”
Despite the backlash, Mainor says her commitment to her district remains unchanged.
“An ‘R’ next to my name doesn’t change who I am,” Mainor said. “Priorities: education, public safety, jobs, healthcare, and senior resources.”

Hey hey my dear author. How are you? I'm actually sad to hear that your laptop isn't working anymore. My condolences for laptop. And I was impressed when you said that now you're writing the fic by hand! Damn, that's determination!! I hope it will be resolved soon💗💗
While I was reading the last chapter I noticed something. You said previously that your fic is based off the TV show. If I remember correctly in the TV show the ring that the main family (Kinn) has is silver and the one the mainor family has is gold. So, I was a but confused when you mentioned that the ring that Kinn has is the gold one. Was it intentionally? 🤔
Love and kisses🥰😘😘
Heya I’m really good hope you are too!! ☺️
Yeah lmao I got a good run out of it though which makes it somewhat easier to accept (about ten years or so so can’t complain there) yeah that’s actually how I first started writing as a kid! Very old school haha but tbh I already have written some of this fic in a notebook instead prior to my laptop dying- I took a notebook with me when I went travelling last year! So one of the chapters had lots of hand written scenes! Obviously not as much as this one hahah but it’s very handy when you don’t want to carry a laptop around!
Lmao this is such a funny question and I’m going to be super honest here and say I forgot they were two different type of rings hahahahhhaha. I actually haven’t rewatched the show in a while so I didn’t remember they were silver and gold!!!! there’s no hidden meaning behind that except my bad memory lmao but I’ll take it as a compliment that you were thinking it was some deep intentional choice or something! Love and kisses right back 🥰

Dorothy Maynor (September 3, 1910 – February 19, 1996) was a soprano, concert singer, and the founder of the Harlem School of the Arts.
She was born in 1910 in the town of Norfolk to the Reverend John J. Mainor, a local African-American Methodist minister, and his wife Alice Mainor. She attended Hampton Institute where she studied under R. Nathaniel Dett. After she graduated from the Institute, she received a four-year scholarship to the Westminster Choir School in Princeton.
She performed at the Berkshire Festival where she was noticed by Sergei Koussevitzky, conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He arranged her debut at The Town Hall in New York City. She received the Town Hall Endowment Series Award for 1940 as a result of this performance. Even though racism precluded her from performing in opera houses, she toured extensively throughout the USA, Europe, and Latin America, performing in concert halls and on the radio. She is noted as the first African American to sing at a presidential inauguration, performing at President Harry S. Truman’s inaugural gala and at President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s presidential inauguration at Constitution Hall where the Daughters of the American Revolution famously refused to let Marian Anderson sing.
She founded the Harlem School of the Arts which was designed to give music education at a reduced rate to the children of Harlem. The school grew from 20 students to 1,000 by the time of her retirement in 1979. She received honorary degrees from several universities including Westminster Choir College, Oberlin College, The Hartt School of Music (University of Hartford), and two degrees from Howard University. In 1975, she became the first African American on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Opera.
In 1942, she married Reverend Shelby Rooks, the pastor of Harlem’s St. James Presbyterian Church. After she retired from School, she moved to Kennett Square, Pennsylvania with her husband. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence #deltasigmatheta

I will not return to Gaza and my destroyed home anytime soon, as I do not own a car and have no one to take me. Therefore, my children and I will remain in the abandoned school, bidding farewell to everyone and watching their joy as they return.

How will I return with my belongings?
My home was completely destroyed, and I have no means of transportation. If I must return on foot, how can I leave behind my children's blankets, sleeping mats, and everything we own?
Tumblr media
Frustration consumes me.
I don’t know what I will do on the day of return. It is exhausting and deeply worrying for me and my children.

My campaign is completely halted.
I am considering closing it, but I hope to reach 80,000 to manage my affairs. I want to travel, as I no longer have a home to return to, nor an education to secure my children’s future.

Our New Black Republican Leaders – Black Community News
Tumblr media
Recently I wrote about Mesha Mainor, who represents a deep blue district in Atlanta in the Georgia state legislature, announcing that she is switching parties and becoming a Republican. Mainor specifically noted her frustration with the Democratic Party in its opposition to improving education through parental choice and ongoing Democratic weakness in building strong law enforcement. I cannot claim a new wave of Black Democrats like Mainor becoming Republicans. But there is certainly a trend. We now have a meaningful new announcement from Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson that he is switching parties and becoming a Republican. Johnson was elected mayor of Dallas in 2019 and recently won reelection, running unopposed and capturing 98.7% of the vote. He is enormously popular because his leadership has been enormously successful. In a column in The Wall Street Journal, in which Johnson discusses his party change, he ticks off the success he has had in reducing violent crime and in creating a business-friendly Dallas with tax cuts and a family-friendly environment through infrastructure. In a recent Gallup poll, which Johnson cites, Dallas was rated by those polled as the safest city in the country in which to live or visit. Seventy-four percent rated Dallas safe. It’s said that there are two kinds of people: those who want to be someone and those who want to do something. Politics too often attracts the former. However, those who make a better world are those of the latter variety — those selflessly looking for truth and how to make things better. Eric Johnson is clearly someone driven to make things better. When he writes “American cities need Republicans — and Republicans need American cities,” it is not because he sees a more promising career path for himself in the Republican Party. It’s because he truly believes that America’s cities need mayors “to champion law and order and practice fiscal conservatism.” If we want to see an example of the opposite of what Eric Johnson and Dallas’ citizens have achieved, look no further than Chicago. Earlier this year, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who served from 2019 to 2022, became the first Chicago mayor in 40 years not to get reelected. Over this period, serious crime in Chicago increased 33%. Lightfoot’s rejection seemed like the lights were going on among Chicago voters that the progressive agenda was not going to solve their horrible crime problem. Paul Vallas, a conservative Democrat running on law and order and strengthening police enforcement, finished first in the February mayor election in which Lightfoot finished third. However, with no candidate capturing a majority, the election moved to a runoff, and progressive Brandon Johnson, who finished 11 points behind Vallas in the first round, edged him out 52.2%-47.8% in the runoff. Johnson brought in socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders and successfully peddled the same failed progressive message to Black and Hispanic voters in Chicago. In the same Gallup poll in which Dallas was selected as the safest city in America, Chicago came in next to last, with only 27% saying that Chicago is safe. For sure, Chicago voters bought more of the same and will get more of the same failures. Last year, Whole Foods closed its store in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago and Walmart has closed four stores. All because of crime. What is Mayor Brandon Johnson’s solution? Government-run grocery stores. “The city of Chicago is reimagining the role government can play in our lives by exploring a public option for grocery stores,” said a spokesperson for Chicago’s Economic Security Project. For sure this is an idea destined for failure. Citizens of all ethnicities in Chicago deserve leadership that they will not get from their Black Democrat mayor that Dallas is getting from their Black Republican mayor. Safe and prosperous communities. Limited government, individual freedom, rule of law, and traditional family values. Conservatism is the answer. Bye Democrats
I don’t know if you have heard about a two term democrat state house representative by the name of Mesha Mainor. She is making history as a Republican, yes as a republican !
Mesha Mainor recently left the democrat party citing differences in policies like school choice and police funding. Can you imagine wanting to leave the democrat party !! Certainly I can’t. But State Rep Mesha Mainor has left and is now a proud Republican becoming the first African American woman to serve in the Georgia Assembly and currently the only African American GOP member out of 236 law makers.
After I overcame my shock that a two term democrat was leaving the party I had questions. Mesha is 48 years old and before her switch was only affiliated with the democrat party. But she waited until now to switch parties!! Can we and by we I mean democrats get her impeached!! She is mid term representing a district that is mostly democrat and she is now a republican.
Your constituents Ms. Mainor elected a democrat whom they thought would represent their interests. Mesha did you not read the job description before accepting the position. I would have been stunned by the switch no matter what but I would have been less stunned had she changed to the independent party and been a democrat leaning independent but to switch parties and join our sworn enemy is the ultimate betrayal.

Who would like to do a deep dive into Mesha Mainor and find out who paid her to stab Americans, Democrats...all of the people in Atlanta who voted for her, in the back? In the middle of fighting Fascists, for a black woman to do this is an outrage and a kick in the face. Vote her out, Atlanta. Mainor is full of shit. Three whole years in politics. Really? This is weak sauce.
