Remember the news that Rune Kristensen proposed creating a fork of Solana?

“Solana is best suited to write a new blockchain. It doesn’t have a name yet, but we are already thinking about a brand. Perhaps it will be some NewChain that will complete the Endgame update,” Rune Christensen, Danish prince of the cryptocurrency world. He became famous as the founder of MakerDao, one of the most important systems in the cryptocurrency world.

So, Rune began investing in Bitcoin, even when many did not believe in the future of blockchain technologies. However, he always thinks about the long term.

But for some reason Christensen’s remarks offended Buterin and Vitalik decided to sell all his MKR (MakerDAO) tokens for half a million dollars. Was he offended that Rune wanted to run the protocol on Solana rather than Ethereum?
