Writing prompt #8

This time we have Danny as a woman. We also have Siren AU where Danny is a singer with an incredible voice. so enter the scene: one of Bruce's most honored business partners, organized a New Year's Eve party, the whole family was invited, along with many other partners and businessmen. The party starts without problems, the background music is perfect, neither too loud nor too low, and can be heard throughout the room. All of the Batkids manage to not fall into their chaotic tendencies and mostly stick together, until the main "act" arrives. A beautiful woman in a one-piece black dress walks onto the main stage, the musicians prepare for the performance. without introduction, the woman begins to sing:

While the melody invaded the party, the gaze of (insert member of the bat clan here) could not depart from the beautiful blue eyes of the song, everything would be perfect if it were not because suddenly a group of criminals burst into the party, destroying the magnificent atmosphere created by the melody. Although as strange as it may seem, the bad guys on duty were not here for the rich and very rich businessmen and their families (jewelry, money) but for the group of musicians and their lead singer. Everyone from the public, the musicians, the waiters and the singer seemed not to understand the criminals' demands at first, but when they saw that there was no turning back, the group decided to go with them to prevent the guests from being hurt. As the singer passed by (insert bat here) she pretended to trip and hand him a small device while I thanked him for catching it, winking discreetly, the message is clear.

The treaty signing between the Berkians and the Berserkers still happen except it isn’t as formal between them but they play up the formalities for fun.

Viggo knows they are friends but the first time they do this upon him and Hiccup reuniting, he thinks that, since it is a formal event, the formalities are necessary. Besides he is very much about keeping up appearances.

Hiccup forgets to tell him it’s basically an inside joke and so they are staying on Berserker Island and Hiccup decides he wants to have sex. Viggo, despite wanting to, thinks it would be disrespectful if any one found out (he’s trying to make a good impression of himself since not everyone trusts him). They are discussing why Viggo is hesitating in a bit of a telling position when Dagur walks in.

Viggo is ready to make an excuse, lie, be defensive or something but Dagur smirks and is all like, ‘don’t stop for me’ or something along those lines. They agree to carry on and let Dagur watch.

Hiccup enjoys how much power he has over Dagur and Viggo enjoys showing Hiccup off. (Maybe hints for Hiccup, Dagur and Mala having a threesome at some point too).

Also some Viggo and Mala bonding mayhaps.

...With Children

(RTTE spoilers) Here are my headcanons for Dagur and Mala as parents because you know they're having a minimum of 2 kids assuming everything is okay health wise. They just seem very...romantic as a couple.

I think they'd be great parents! Even though they don't always agree on the best rearing techniques (Mala thinks balancing on stones near lava is good and Dagur wants them to spend more time throwing knives), they stay a united front with the kiddos around. Then, they can disagree afterwards so that the kids aren't receiving mixed messages. They're a team in raising the little ones just like they're a team with leading their kingdoms.

In the same vein, I don't think they fit into the "one is a fun parent. One is a tough parent" stereotype. If the kids mess up stuff around the hut, they know Momma Mala's not going to be happy with them. If they do something insanely reckless that puts them in danger, they know Daddy Dagur's going to be livid. (Also, I just realized that they can have alliteration with their names and I love them as parents even more because of that.)

I think that in the lighter times when one parent disagrees, whichever one it is can win over the other. If Mala and the kids want to go out to find new dragons to heal, Dagur isn't going to be able to say no to them. Similarly, Mala will see their matching 🥺s and give in on whatever idea they want to try out.

Overall, I see them as a really happy family that distributes the work of leadership and parenthood pretty evenly.

(p.s. title is a reference for any Married...with Children fans out there. Genuinely not sure if any exist on this platform, but hi if you do!)

At the Wayne Mansion, the entire Bat Family is gathered to watch The Voice USA (or the talent show of your choice). As they watch contestant after contestant pass by, Cass is suddenly startled to see a familiar face on the screen. Danny (Fenton) Nightingale takes the microphone and makes a small statement, he will sing the song "Fairytale" with a dedication to someone from his past, someone who became his own fairy tale. Each fragment, each note is loaded with emotions that only the audience present could appreciate. When the song finished the audience was applauding. Danny Nightingale moved on to the next round with a slightly melancholic but happy look if that were ever possible. While Cass's brothers said that (Danny) had done very well, she didn't know what to think, after years of not seeing each other it seems that some embers were left, even if only at one of the ends of the red rope that joined them together. sometime.

still thinking abt ur ask abt isra being dead in iskandar's solo playthrough. genuinely going insane over it like??? what if he doesn't know. what if he's convinced everyone he cares so little no one thinks to tell him. what if he's buried the truth so convincingly no one thinks to tell him, not because they think he doesn't care, but because the fact she is his (most beloved) little sister has gone ignored for so long people forget. that's so insane. that's so fucking insane. does he think she's just been with the mage rebellion the whole time? what does it mean that he's still so willing to march on the mages? does he think she's still somewhere in ostwick, under lock and key? and then it turns out she's dead. she's dead and she might not be dead if he'd been at ostwick still, to get her out. or keep her in. or. or. and she's dead. and he can't do anything or say anything or react at all because she's still a mage, she's still Not His Sister Anymore, If She Ever Was. she's still. she's dead and he hasn't seen her since she was six years old but he kept an ear out. he knows she passed her harrowing, her too early harrowing. he's not relieved because he's not allowed to be. he's seen the papers she wrote, indications she was thriving. he was not proud because he's not allowed to be. she was alive, she had lived, in spite of him, and now she's dead. he couldn't be relieved she lived, and he can't be upset she's dead. but she is. she's gone, forever. nothing he will ever do can get her back. where does that anger go? where does the grief go? what happens to these deep emotions he was denying himself for years and years and years now that he doesn't have the excuse of being furious with her anymore? what if he sees her in the fade at adamant instead of justinia. IT'S INSANE. IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE.
