Hey everyone,

A series of ambient mixes designed to help you unwind and drift off into a peaceful sleep. As someone who struggles with sleep deprivation, I know firsthand the power of ambient music to create a calming atmosphere.

I’ve curated a collection of what I believe are particularly positive and soothing ambient pieces, weaving them together into roughly two-hour mixes. The goal is to provide a consistent and relaxing soundscape to help you relax and prepare for a good night’s sleep.

connectome — a comprehensive map of neural connections in the brain, and may be thought of as its "wiring diagram." an organism's nervous system is made up of neurons which communicate through synapses. a connectome is constructed by tracing the neuron in a nervous system and mapping where neurons are connected through synapses

YEEESSSSS JO!!! "Yet in his fair-skinned face, with its blond eyebrows and lashes, in the blue eyes, there was still something of the rebellious child we had known." is in the description of all my Enzo stuff and is my favorite quote because I don’t want people to forget that part of him. The rebellious child persists!!!

I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOUUUU... safe to say we are the only 2 people who truly understand that man. (I mean I can only say this because I have been blessed with the gift of your presence and I arrogantly take pride in that), but I am a firm believer in this part of Enzo being an integral component of his effect on Lila. They're both slightly crooked on a level that has little to do with their circumstances, but that core aspect of their being has been shaped by the very same environment so they respond to that aspect of the other's soul waaaaay before they create a more stable bond in material reality. I think they exist beyond that material, in the ruins of the city, in a warmer and more musical sense than every other everlasting inherited truth of this fictional universe does.

Elena and Lila exist on another plane of existence, built specifically to outlive Naples and its ties while Lila and Enzo as a relationship is irreversibly rooted in where they come from, but in a surprisingly heartfelt way at that, like how terrible times in history tend to give birth to the most beautiful of songs, they are an ancient song of unknown origin to me. (I have so many thoughts on this, but that's not the point I'm making here and it makes me too disgustingly mushy anyways.)

It's the fact that they recognise who the other is when freed of external factors that helps them reshape the way those same factors inhabit both of them... They create new external conditions in their hometown because they see the mechanics of each other's private worlds as a reflection of their own...
