I think it did mislead people anyway, regardless. Everyone who didn't know what Malevolent was took it at face value and "vote for a trans character who's not trans" is only a funny joke if everyone knows it's a joke.

Ultimately it led to some people sending horrific accusations and insults my way so if we're being honest, even if it was a joke, it wasn't funny. It still isn't. I appreciate the kind words, but I have no kind words for the people who took it too far and called me horrible things over an internet poll.
