What's each RF5 bachelor like? I don't mind spoilers! From what I've heard, Cecil = Kiel; Martin = Forte (loves his lil bro <3); Reinhard = Forte again (not sure how he's different from Martin?); Ryker = Doug + Raven (they're opposites i know sksksksk, slacker boi who tries to act cool = Doug, cold and blunt but shy = Raven); Lucas = Arthur + Gaius (polite, proper speaking style = Arthur, witty in a calm way = Gaius); Murakumo = Volkanon. Big thanks for getting through this messy list!

mmm if u wanna draw comparisons to previous characters you're not far off with most of them...lucas isnt like gaius tho imo and murakumo is only similar to volkanon in that hes also loud sometimes. he's actually more like vishnal. Cecil: very similar to kiel in that he's energetic, naive, gossips, and is a twink obvs. backstory also involves his parents just like with Kiel and Forte. He also mentions he enjoys reading but I don't think he's as smart as Kiel is though despite the whole detective trope. Martin: v serious. obsessed with forging. overworks himself due to it. in that way he's similar to Gaius. As you say he's very protective over Cecil just like Forte is with Kiel. Favorite dish is fruit sandwich just like his brother but he is slightly embarrassed about it (in the same way Kiel and Forte both love choco cake but forte tries to hide it). tbh theyre almost exactly like Kiel and Forte it's uncanny... Reinhardt: Calm natured and kind. He's sorta like Forte + Sofia? He's bad at cooking but good at sewing. my favorite to have in my party. He eats failed dishes bc he cant recognize bad tasting food as bad?? He's not at all like Martin imo... Ryuka: he's a chuuni. obsessed with darkness, treasure, and napping. sees Palmo as a father figure. he's also kind of an idiot. and childish. and he has a bad attitude but is caring deep down. so really he's like doug and dylas's love child... Lucas: He's also kind of an idiot but the clueless kind. He does speak v formally. Because he is quite literally 'God', he can pretty much do anything with his powers and can make things disappear and reappear elsewhere. He does so often for the children in town bc he loves kids and making people smile. has an unhealthy obsession with udon. Murakumo: another idiot....town is full of morons so i hope ur a morosexual sksksk he's bad at like, everything lmao. He wants to make his inn famous after his parents' inn went under due to his mistakes prior to the game. however he often breaks furniture in his current Inn bc he cant control his own strength. basically the genki boy of the group. loud and like the big teddy bear/uncle. endearing.

Season 3 notes popping off

due to my desire to not completely fail all my classes this year i made myself slow down significantly while listening to this season, and the fact that the other person i'm listening along with had to catch up. We've managed to convert several other people to start listening and its pretty great.

ep 81: what does it even mean to be chosen by one of them? And if he was chosen by the eye. we know Gertrude wasnt? Because she cut the eyes out of the magazines?

ep 82: elias lmao. I understand why people like him so much bahshdhdk i thought he was gonna snitch on Jon but he didnt so he's fine. Ok but how do we think he knew all that stuff. Idk probably just institute connections. I love the fact that the recorder just wants to record stuff randomly bjahsjdhd. Elias feels a lot like Michael in the sense that he knows more than he should and talks in a way that implies he just wants to wait and see how things play out for his own benefit. I understand him knowing the things that happened but his description of her emotions implies something paranormal. Maybe he's connected to one of the entities. Which one I cannot guess.

ep 83: did a file get delivered randomly to the place he's staying at? Probably elias lmao. He thinks the mannequin is related to the stranger. Idk I would believe it.

ep 84: worms? I know he says earth worms but idk. Again? Is she making gordon golems out of trash? Martin popping off. You can tell the statements get to him more that they get to Jon. How come martin is so mad about it? I want to assume he just doesnt want her to get stuck there but idk. Jude Perry. The calliope organ. Jon heard a circus in one of the last episodes

Ok we've seen Keay and hotner or whatever his name was.

God they all talk about feeding their god and feeding that which feeds them and. hh what does that meann. Leave big J. please. uh oh. is it daisy? how come he has the web lighter still? the tape recorder just turns on sometimes you know how it is. So he can compel people? not that he knows it obviously but. a bit wack. powers go brr i guess? If the eye just wants knowledge i guess he feeds it by getting the statements? b/c i doubt it wants him to murder ppl or whatever.

ep 92: elias you all knowing fuck what do you know. (i guess all given what i just said) Lukas. Heard of them before. Mordecai Lukas. Loneliness. The lonely even. Jonah Magnus. Elias ur sounding like a bit of a dickhead rn. lmao jon's just like "i dont care" elias what is ur deal. Why does he want to tie her in. ohh i see. lmao theyre all just like "elias why" The Unknowing lol seems very much like something the eye wouldnt like. lol elias is gettin all philosophical. what does it really mean to be human. this still doesnt answer why gertrude wanted to destroy the archives tho.

ep 93: bahsjdfh he seems so dead inside rip. awww admiral. i love him already. ghh breacon and hope. purple mold. doesnt sound like anything we've seen so far. I think the funniest explanation for breacon and hope is that they dont actually serve the stranger they just kinda happen to be a random neutral party that cart around random spooky entity related stuff. ooooh. when we hear the slight static of the tape recorder it's cuz he's compelling ppl.

ep 94: the end! listen man they were all just grayed up for 4/13.

ep 95: the end also? death but also savagery/ animalistic shit. aww martin. lmao becerra. she's just been chillin in the corner.

ep 96: return to sender. haha minecraft go brr. prediction: breacon and hope? yup there we go. jon why is there an echo. are you in a stairwell? is he gonna eat it- yup. how did i call it. unsure abt what theyre talking about but ok. they kidnapped someone? Sarah Baldwin. ooooh that guy.

ok im just putting this here so i have notes for when nicholas gets to this part. It seems like (from jon's conversation with jude perry) that the desolation and the eye are kinda at odds with eachother? like i guess not directly but it seems like they dont really vibe? so how could be with both. Cuz if he has the heat powers and shit then we know he's an avatar of the desolation. but then why does he have so much eye imagery. also he got burned intentionally? like jude did when she went on her monologue about the feeling of burning? but then why did he wear the eye pendant. it stops him from being burned all the way which seems like he's not fully accepting the fire or whatever.

Ep 104: tim gives a coherent statement without jon even being there. Ugh. Fucking robert smirk. Dont like him. Joey. Dont recognize the name. The show must go on. Clown. The spooky circus?

anchor: im... fond of the image of Jon and Tim sitting together under a shock blanket at the start of this fic after the Prentiss attack........... its not even particularly compelling i just think about their Last Moments As Friends and i get really fucked up

anchor: i wanted to do more with Tim’s guilt about not being able to save the original Sasha from the Distortion’s hallways, but i think i forgot and then there wasnt really a good place to put it in. Martin kind of talks about it, but eh.

beholden: in my original plan for the prentiss attack Sasha was supposed to get separated from the crew and find Gertrude’s body instead of Martin (whihc was honestly meant partly to bully the readers/jon into being worried abt her running off on her own during the attack, and partly bc shes the only one who actually met gertrude). that didnt end up happening then, i didnt have a good reason to get her in the tunnels

anchor: i wrote this so that it would repeat and parallel itself so much that reading it literally felt like circling / spiraling and i know people noticed this but i think this is mostly bc i told this to every single person i could. if anyone noticed this on their own they did not manage to tell me before i, very proud of it, said as much

beholden: there are some jokes in beholden no one caught for the longest fucking time and i think theyve all been picked up on by now but personally i think s1 Tim-or-Sasha (dont remember which) saying “you could injure [Jon’s] hand with a particularly strong handshake” is up there for funniest shit ive ever written and i was SO MAD no one noticed

34. Have you felt emotional while writing a scene before? What scene was it?

again i would like to say if youre not getting emotional writing your scenes i dont know what youre writing for i make myself emotional all the time

still, hmmm. a fun fact about beholden is any time Jon gets emotional in his internal monologue abt missing his dead friends it is because i, personally, got emotional writing about Tim and Sasha (usually) and then immediately threw those emotions at Jon

hey new follower here, casual tma fan who wanted a second blog for tma content. I’m so glad to see someone else who really likes Georgie and Georgie/Jon since Jonmartin is so prevalent (not that it’s a bad ship of course, just not my cup of tea!). Do you have any tma headcanons you want to share or ramble about, including gen stuff?

lmao i was afraid ppl would like gut me when i admitted i dont like j/onma/rtin..... that of course did not happen cuz everyone is very nice!!! its just like.... ubiquitous though. i fuckin, searched jon/georgie on ao3 and it has LITERALLY 15 works and most of them are like “mentions of a past relationship” its so funny

as for stuff i want to share,,,,,,, idk!! i feel like a big dumbass talking about anything cuz im still new to this scene and i dont like... remember everything. im gonna listen to the show again from the beginning actually i think... get a new perspective now that i have all the facts... maybe i will liveblog it again lol.

like i wrote a fuckin fan fiction that accidentally turned into jon/georgie but i am sure i got some like GLARING detail completely wrong so i am scared 2 post it -_- also its just a weird nonsense fic too... Elias Is There, for example, with zero explanation

im really really into autistic jon headcanons...... i have this pet headcanon that when they were dating georgie would just lay on top of him sometimes (like how cats do) as like a sensory thing......... i feel like these days jon is so touch starved if she did this he would combust. u know that post thats like “i think at this point if someone touched my face tenderly i would just black out” that’s jon probably :/ someone give this man a hug

even tho i dont particularly like the ship i do have Big Feelings about Martin being tragically in love with jon...... i said this before idk if you saw the post but most of the reason i dont care for it is just like..... that has been me more than once. im martin! hi! having feelings for someone who doesnt feel the same way and kind of treats you like shit really fucking sucks and i also think that like... honestly, martin does not even know jon that well. its infatuation yknow?? and my boy deserves better than that. like 1 thing that sticks out in my mind is when he said “i dont think ive heard jon tell a joke” like well.......... he does. jon has a terrible deadpan sense of humor and it seems like. somehow martin doesnt even know?? or didnt at the time. which isnt necessarily surprising for a coworker relationship but martin has Romantic Feelings for him lmao. i mean dont get me wrong martin is valid and super relatable but its not the basis for a healthy relationship.

barely related but i love that one post i dont remember the author of that suggests that the reason jon and basira hit it off so well at first is because theyre both autistic and they Get each other..... i feel like currently basira is kinda doing a jon-season-2-esque paranoia streak and hes like TRYING to give her genuine advice but of course from him it sounds monumentally hypocritical. like “ive been down this path! ive so been down it, in fact, that im still on it! look at me!”

i also have said this before but i reeeeeaaally want jon and melanie to be friends........ i remember when i listened to her first episode i was like losing my mind at this wild youtuber who just comes into jons office and starts trash talking him, his work, his institute, and his expertise on the paranormal when she came there explicitly to give a statement. AND THEN she comes back and is like, “can i ask for a favor youre my only friend here” and jon is like...... “i hate you actually but ok” its so fucking good i hope at this point theyre moving back toward that snarky frenemies thing instead of just outright hating each other cuz thats no fun
