Juza, Kumon, & Muku (childhood) Headcanons

They were very chaotic 💀

They were INSEPARABLE OMG

They hung out all the time and when they weren't, they were always talking about eachother

When they were at family gatherings, sometimes Muku would be to shy to ask for dessert, so both Juza and Kumon would sneak extra chocolates for him

Juza use to read to them when they had sleepovers

Kumon followed Juza around everywhere as soon as he learned how to walk

Kumon constantly talks about Muku and Juza at school

Anytime the 3 of them hung out as kids, Muku would being them both gifts he made, one time he made matching necklaces for the 3 of them and to this day they all still have them

Kumon was one of the first people to get Muku out of his shell

"Pickt eater" Muku & Kumon and "Will literally eat everything" Juza

Kamon use to bire people when he got excited HGKFKJ

once when they were all playing hide-n-seek, Muku got stuck in a toy oven and Kumon cried

Juza and Muku were usually very content with being quiet for long periods of time, but Kumon always wanted to do something

Juza use to be scared of clowns

Kumon use to pick Muku up and carry him everywhere, or give him piggyback rides and everyone was just like "??? Kumon put him down !! he can walk you know"

Juza taught them both how to play hand games (yknow, Numbers, Miss Mary Mack, Concentration 64, etc.)

Juza's always had a rbf HGKFK so je just always looked kinda angry

hello!! here to introduce some new muses in my shifter heist crew w/ @piedpipcr​ but are open to everyone!! uwu some little blurbs until i write up full bios.

KANG HARU : street magician. pick-pocket. the conman & the thief. lion shifter.

not everyone can say they grew up in a circus. what started as a magician and his assistant needing to make money turned into a family run con-circus. a little traveling pride of lion shifters putting on a show while stealing from the audience. and when high profile people attended it was the perfect moment to heist their property. the family perfected their thieving for generations to come. 

unfortunately, the family hit a bump in their heisting, and haru took the fall. as the youngest he could be tried easier as a minor. he did community service and promised not to return to that city. his good behavior only lasted a few months before he needed the thrill of thieving again and was determined to get back at his family. they’d ditched him for the next hot spot

luckily, he was just as clever and skilled to manage on his own. he orchestrated a meeting with nana, knowing exactly the access a politician’s son could gain. it wasn’t long before he, as he tells it, “charmed” the older into his life of crime. he handles swiping items, picking locks, acting, really anything fooling the eye. if he must, he’ll break out his acrobatics, but he’d rather someone else wear the harness. he’s really the passion drive behind the heist kitty crew.

OLIVER KIM : ride-share driver. mechanic. drag racer. the getaway. puma shifter.

oliver’s one of the chillest dudes you’ll meet. go with the flow, or the waves, as he grew up surfing. he spent most of his life in australia only moving to korea for university. he jumped at any opportunity he could have to get behind a wheel, loving the grip underneath his hands. was he driving his siblings to practice or offering to carpool with his best friend? you bet!

in high school, his love of driving only got worse when he discovered drag racing. it never stopped as he got older, if anything it got worse. he used much of his winnings to pay for college. he pursued a mechanical engineering degree, but never did much with it. he runs a sort of free-lance mechanic job while mostly being a ride-share driver. so, how’d he join the crew? well, mari claimed to “know a guy” and ollie literally rolled up with his lyft sticker on his car. now he’s the getaway driver, only requesting different cars to use thanks to their benefactor.

KAMON “ WALLY ” SUTTIRAT : rising fashion designer. the tailor. ocelot shifter.

wally grew up in a low-income family. they were immigrants to korea, running a sewing service out of their house. he could only dream of touching more than the clothes from neighbors needing mending. as soon as he was able, he was placing his small foot on a pedal and helping his mom sew. allowance immediately spent on the newest fashion magazines. late nights lost to fashion week on the tv.

unable to afford any high priced fabrics, he stuck to designing his own patterns and practicing on scraps. but he worked hard to afford design school on scholarship. he got a big break interning at a prestigious fashion studio that dealt with celebrities, politicians, and elitists alike. it only furthered his fiery passion for beautiful clothing.

he will most definitely pick you apart from head to toe. picture howl pendragon when sophie put the hat on w/ her new dress and he was like :0 he likes his aesthetics and he’s super gay. somehow he wound up in the heisting when he wouldn’t let up about why nana suddenly needed costumes.

fic peek! (Yuri on Ice, Victuuri)

I kind of feel bad for not being more prolific, despite being on a sabbatical at the moment. And I’ve just marathoned the entire season 1 of The Man in the High Castle, which is HOLY FUCKING HELL AMAZING and speaks to the mega History nerd in me.

And then I thought. You know what the Yuri on Ice fandom needs? A MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE AU. BECAUSE REASONS.

So. Well. Here’s a teeny peek. I expect it’ll end up being around 15-20k words eventually, once I sit down properly to bang it all out.

The saddest word, in any language, is almost.

She almost made it; they almost won; he almost survived.

War has no sympathy for the almosts, the nearlies, the so-closes.

The thing about war is this: no one wins. One side just loses the least.

Whoever emerges from the rubble and devastation sets the terms and forges the deals, and the little people set their gazes back on the ground and the wheel keeps on turning, and the clocks reset and begin to wind down to whichever King or Emperor or Tsar next decides to throw his people on the altar of battle.

History is never wrong.

Idealists claim change, a new era, and the new era breeds complacency, complacency breeds weak men, weak men breed discontent, and discontent breeds war.

Don’t let peace fool you.

War always comes.

They’re in the middle of dinner when the summons arrive, hand-delivered by a courier garbed in the travelling robes of the Imperial household’s servants.

It’s not an entirely unfounded appearance, given their relation to the Emperor, but it’s still unexpected. Yuuri’s father has to visibly rein in his surprise, take the proffered letter, and dismiss the courier from the dining hall.

When the courier withdraws and the main doors to the Castle clang shut with his departure, Mari leaps up to peer over their father’s shoulder.

“What is it about?” she asks, dodging their father’s attempts to fend her off.

Father blinks, almost bewildered. “It’s about Yuuri,” he says, and Mari redoubles her efforts.

“Sit down, Mari, don’t pester your otou-san,” their Mother scolds gently, patting Yuuri on the arm.

Mari settles, and Yuuri echoes their father, blinking owlishly. “Me?” he says. “What does the Emperor want with me?”

“Apparently,” his father says, adjusting his glasses on the bridge of his nose, “It’s to do with you turning twenty-one. The Emperor would like your presence at court to make your acquaintance.”

Stunned, Yuuri leans back from where he’d propped his forearms up and angled his body forward in interest. “But why? He’s never cared the slightest before.”

Father purses his lips, looking vaguely unsettled. “It might very well be simple curiosity,” he says. “Your okaa-san and I were summoned down to meet him when we were first married.”

To Yuuri’s right, Mari pouts. “I didn’t get summons when I turned twenty-one.”

Their father hands the letter over to Yuuri with a heavy sigh. Yuuri turns the sheet of cream paper over in his hands, the material thick and weighty, the finest cardstock. The Emperor’s 16-petaled kikumon glints gold in the light of the room, distinct and unmistakeable.

“There’s the Russian capitulation on the Chinese front,” Mother interjects. “The Emperor could be looking to consolidate allies for a push.”

“That doesn’t seem likely,” Father replies. “Why Yuuri? He’s only the heir, and Hasetsu has no standing forces.”

Mari bobs her head. “It’s pretty odd timing, isn’t it?” she adds, peering at the letter in Yuuri’s hand. “In a fortnight? The broadcasts claim that’s when the Moscow delegation’s expected to appear in court.”

Mother’s forehead is crinkled in worry, and Yuuri reaches over to take her hand. She smiles at him, brow still furrowed.

“I don’t like this, Toshiya,” she says. “We’ve not been to Tokyo for years, we’re out of the loop. Something isn’t right.”

Father nods, decisive. “I’ll write to the Kawashimas to see if they know more, but I’m not hopeful they’ll have any news we can’t work out for ourselves.”

In the end, there’s little to be done but for Yuuri to pack, trunks laden with finery and gifts and the best kimono he owns. They don’t have a choice. You don’t say no to the Emperor, third cousin by blood or no.

And so, on a bright, sweltering morning in July, Yuuri boards the first-class carriage of the train bound for Tokyo, clad in a dark silk kimono, five Katsuki clan kamon emblazoned on the fabric across the back of his collar, sleeves, and lapels.

“Write to us,” Mother reminds him, “Or telegram. Don’t forget.” Her eyes are bright behind her glasses.

Yuuri bends to hug her tight. “I won’t forget,” he promises. “It’ll be alright, I’ll be fine, don’t worry.” It’s not as reassuring as he’d like, but she smiles gratefully at him all the same.

Mari punches him on the arm and tells him not to be stupid, and that if he needs help, she’ll come down straightaway.

Father clasps his hand, patting him on the shoulder. “Be careful,” he warns, voice low. “You’ve never been to Tokyo, you don’t know the viciousness of it. Trust no one, make no promises, and above all, always remember we love you.”

Yuuri nods, ball of emotion lodged in his throat. Behind him, the train conductor blows his whistle.

“Alright,” his mother says. “Off you go now.”

With reluctant legs, Yuuri clambers onboard, and he waves at them from the window for as long as he’s able, their figures growing smaller and then disappearing with distance.

In the empty silence of the first-class carriage, Yuuri reclines in his seat, shutting his eyes and heaving a breath. With every second, the train rattles further away from Hasetsu, taking him miles away from the only home he’s ever known.

It’s silly, but looking out the window, he thinks everything looks different. The sky is somehow less blue, the green of the passing scenery less vivid. It’s not true, of course. They’re barely out of the town, much less the prefecture.

Still.

There’s something about the way the air seems staler, the weight of every mile sinking onto his shoulders, pressing and weighing.

Emily Watches Iron Fist , Season 2, Episode 1

Did you guys know the second season of IRON FIST was out already? Like I follow Marvel on Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram and I had no idea. Obviously, I hated the first season and wasn’t really counting down the days or anything. I thought it was coming later this year. I was going to say Fall but I guess it is Fall.

Anyway, the only reason I care is because Misty Knight is in this season. She was listed as main cast on the Wikipedia page. But I am watching episode 1 now and she was NOT in the opening credits.

That makes me kind of want to skip this one, honestly. So I will be brief in my recap. SPOILERS.

— Danny in a hoodie (stealing Luke’s look) fights some gang members in a truck. I feel like this opening sequence was designed to be like, “look how much cooler the fighting is! He uses the IF powers to stop a truck.” But it’s dark and I kind of can’t see much and I also kind of don’t care so I play some levels on Candy Crush.

— Apartment. Danny brings home food to Colleen. She should have been in the fight. She sees the footage on the news and he admits he killed three security guards. WTF KIND OF HERO KILLS PEOPLE?? Colleen admits this is why she doesn’t go with him anymore. She also blames herself for Misty losing an arm which I don’t even understand. It seems like the show just wants to make her less cool.

— They get romantic and it grossed me out.

— Davos does something at a dock. He attack some henchmen and threatens some guy.

— Danny and an Asian friend I don’t remember move his stuff into Colleen’s apartment. He talks about the difficulties of sharing space with another person. Which I would think would be the least of his concern? Did they allow him a lot of privacy at the dragon punching place where they beat him with sticks? He joked about what happened when he put Colleen’s dress in the dryer. Why does he even know how to use a dryer? How long has he been back in New York?

— Colleen helps immigrants fill out their forms and pay application fees. Because she is great and he is trash? That is pretty much canon now. In the donation bin, Colleen finds an old  laquered box with a symbol I don’t recognize on it. It seems to have a hairbrush inside. Colleen is spooked.

-- Danny comes outside the apartment to find Star Trek’s ALICE EVE talking to Asian Friend. I know she’s Typhoid Mary and I wonder how quickly they will kill off this minority friend. We learn his name is Albert.

-- Colleen goes looking for a furniture shop owner. The shop is closed, but a street person tells her his cousin has a restaurant around the corner. She goes there and finds the man being assaulted. He insists he doesn’t have a cousin.

-- Danny meets with Ward. Ward is disgusted to learn Danny is working at a moving company. Oh i didn’t get that at all. I thought he was moving into Colleen’s place. If he and Albert are NYC movers, they are the slowest ones I have ever seen! I mean, there’s only two of them so one of them has to stay with the truck. And that is just inefficient. You need more guys. And you need a lot of packing tape.

-- We learn Joy called the meeting. She has shorter hair now, and looks kind of evil? She wants them to buy her out of Rand Enterprises. My eyes glaze over whenever the business stuff is brought up. Ward is all mad. And Danny is like... Danny. He just signs without reading anything. He shouldn’t be in charge of a business. Not even a moving business.

-- Typhoid Mary comes home with groceries. She sees a post it that says “DO NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE.” Then another one that says “STOP MOVING THINGS AROUND.” She begins to have an episode. For some reason she has to turn a lot of faucets on. Then she starts to laugh.

-- Danny returns home and Colleen explains the symbol is a kamon. A Family heirloom. And it has her family’s crest on it. Her mother used to brush her hair.

-- Ward goes to an AA meeting and leaves before it gets started. I kind of don’t care about his problems? Or the fact that he’s having sex with the AA lady.

-- Joy meets with Davos. They talk and I tune out again.

-- Danny and Colleen get dinner at the restaurant she saw the guy attacked at earlier. They talk about eating bugs. Somehow when she does it, it is cute. Danny explains that now that the Hand are gone the smaller gangs are making moves. Just then, gang members walk in. Then a group of gang members shows up. And Colleen deals with the group in the back, and Danny fights the ones in the front. Colleen has to stop him from using the Iron Fist on one dude, which would kill him, right?

I wish Jessica and Luke would have a cute date night like that.

-- The restaurant owner explains his cousin is hiding from “the Tigers” (I can’t keep the gangs straight). That everyone on the street pays them for protection.

-- Then Davos shows up. He doesn’t like Colleen so I decide he can suck a dick. Danny says he’s protecting the city and Davos is like “but you didn’t protect K’un L’un.” They fight. He calls Colleen a whore. I am scandalized.

-- More Joy and Davos plotting about how they will make Danny pay.

-- Danny goes into the most poorly lit subway station I’ve ever seen, and practices using the Iron Fist in some hidden room.
