Hey all! This is going to be a long post, and it's going to break down a lot of my work on the universe!

🛑What is the DRS Universe?

The DRS Universe is a connected fictional Formula One-centric universe. The history of the sport generally follows the real world counterpart, and for the most part, the world is kept as similar to the real world as possible, but things such as sponsors, drivers, teams, wins and events throughout the history of the sport are brand new.

🛑General Info/Q&A:

🛑Why does the DRS Universe Exist? I'm a very big fan of F1 and of Writing, and I wanted to mix those things together and write an F1-Based novel. I'm also a fan of creating OC's and having more control over what I write, so it was only natural that I'd make my own teams and drivers. That expanded to stuff like sponsors and some brands and companies in the universe, etc. I tried to keep the broader strokes of the sports history accurate to the real world as well, but I made new, fictional historic drivers, events, dates, etc. 🛑What is the current season? The current season as of the novel I'm currently working on (shunted) is 2023! 🛑What is Shunted about? Shunted focuses Lance Adams and Alexandre Lareaux, enemies-and-rivals turned teammates. It follows them as they navigate the 2023 season, and even worse for both of them depending on how you look at it, their newfound friendship and possible romance. 🛑Why are there 11 teams? Because more teams + more drivers + more cars on track = more fun. Also, because I wanted 11 teams, and it's my universe.

 Los religiosos de la época reprochaban a los discípulos de Jesús el hecho de no lavarse las manos antes de comer. Jesús respondió mostrando que lo que contamina al hombre es lo que sale de nuestro corazón, es decir, nuestros pensamientos (Mateo 15:18-20).

 Cuidémonos de medir la pureza interior según las formas exteriores.

 Nuestro corazón es el que necesita ser purificado en primer lugar, para que nuestra vida también pueda serlo. Se trata de aceptar con gratitud el amor de Dios, que nos perdona y nos lava de nuestros pecados. La pureza de corazón es obra de Dios. “Crea en mí, oh Dios, un corazón limpio”, oró David. Y el apóstol Pedro dijo: “Ninguna diferencia hizo entre nosotros y ellos (judíos y no judíos), purificando por la fe sus corazones” (Hechos 15:9).

 Por supuesto, esta pureza de corazón se muestra en los hechos. La vida de un creyente que tiene un corazón puro es transparente ante Dios y ante los hombres. Sus pensamientos y motivaciones son sin rodeos ni bajezas.

 Un corazón puro tiene como centro solo a Dios; es lo contrario de un corazón de doble ánimo, que persigue dos objetivos. Solo Jesús tenía un corazón absolutamente puro, desprovisto de duplicidad. Nosotros los cristianos estamos llamados a seguir esta pureza (Hebreos 12:14). Este esfuerzo constante es posible gracias al poder del Espíritu Santo que actúa en nosotros.

 Solo los puros de corazón verán a Dios. Lo ven ahora con los ojos de la fe, pero un día verán a Jesucristo “tal como él es” (1 Juan 3:2).

"Es por la misericordia y la bondad amorosa del Señor que no somos consumidos, porque Sus [tiernas] misericordias nunca decayeron. Son nuevas cada mañana; grande y abundante es su estabilidad y fidelidad".—Lamentaciones 3:22–23.

Las misericordias de Dios son nuevas cada mañana porque cada día solo tiene suficiente misericordia para ese día. Dios señala los problemas de cada día. Y Dios señala las misericordias de cada día. En la vida de sus hijos, ellos están perfectamente designados. Jesús dijo: “Por tanto, no os preocupéis por el día de mañana, porque el día de mañana se inquietará por sí mismo. Le basta al día su propia angustia” (Mateo 6:34). Cada día tiene su propio problema. Cada día tiene sus propias misericordias. Cada uno es nuevo cada mañana.

Pero a menudo tendemos a desesperarnos cuando pensamos que quizás tengamos que soportar la carga de mañana con los recursos de hoy. Dios quiere que sepamos: no lo haremos. Las misericordias de hoy son para los problemas de hoy. Las misericordias de mañana son para los problemas de mañana.

A veces nos preguntamos si tendremos la misericordia de soportar una terrible prueba. Si, lo haremos. Pedro dice: “Si sois insultados por el nombre de Cristo, sois bienaventurados, porque el Espíritu de gloria y de Dios reposa sobre vosotros” (1 Pedro 4:14). Cuando viene la injuria, viene el Espíritu de gloria. Le sucedió a Esteban mientras lo apedreaban. Sucederá para ti. Cuando se necesite el Espíritu y la gloria, vendrán.

El maná en el desierto se daba un día a la vez. No había almacenamiento. Así es como debemos depender de la misericordia de Dios. No recibes hoy la fuerza para llevar las cargas de mañana. Se te dan misericordias hoy para los problemas de hoy.

Mañana las misericordias serán nuevas. “Fiel es Dios, por quien fuisteis llamados a la comunión con su Hijo, Jesucristo nuestro Señor” (1 Corintios 1:9).

La Ley de Dios

Amados Hermanos, que la gracia del Señor este con todos ustedes, Amén.

Hoy vamos a establecer un largo viaje temático bíblico por la Ley de Dios.

Obediencia es la palabra (Ecl 7:20 y Rm 3:23).

Jesús con Su Vida, muerte y resurrección cumplió todos los mandamientos (Mt 5:17-18)

La Ley evidencia nuestro pecado, (Rm 7:7).

El propósito era llevarnos a Cristo, (Gal 3:24).

Mi persona, la de antes, creía que la ley del Antiguo Testamento no tenía nada que ver con la gracia de Dios por conducto de su Amado Hijo Jesús.

Pero todo en la Biblia está conectado y entonces sentí esa voz en mi interior que me decía: por aquí no es.

Entonces me sumergí en la Palabra y esto es el resultado.

La gracia, nos conduce al futuro, mientras que la ley nos amarra al presente.

La ley nos muestra que no somos capaces, en cambio la gracia nos enseña que no somos dignos. La función de la ley era demostrarnos lo imperfectos que somos pues no podemos seguir una simple lista de reglas. Es más sino podemos con los 10 mandamientos mucho menos con las 613 leyes dadas a Moisés.

Ciertamente, el futuro eterno de aquellos bajo la gracia sólo contiene gloria interminable y bendiciones. Pero lo único que depara el futuro para quienes se mantienen bajo la ley es muerte y eterna maldición.

No es que haya un conteo preciso de cada una de ellas, aunque la verdad, no me parece mala la idea. El Talmud señala al rabino Simlai como el responsable de llegar a los 613 en el s.lll d.C. Luego Maimónides, en el s. Xll d.C. los dividió en 248 "hacer esto" y 365 con "no hacer esto.

Dios nos dio la Ley para ayudarnos a dimensionar nuestro pecado y con ello que pudiéramos entender nuestra gran necesidad por el Meshiah, el único que no ha tenido conflicto alguno con la Ley, cumpliendo todos sus mandamientos (Mateo 5:17:18)

Primera lectura

Lectura de la profecía de Ezequiel 9,1-7;10,18-22

En aquellos días, oí que el Señor gritaba con voz potente: “¡Acérquense los que van a castigar a la ciudad, empuñando cada uno su arma mortal!”

Entonces aparecieron, en dirección del pórtico que da al norte, seis hombres, cada cual con su arma mortal en la mano. En medio de ellos estaba un hombre vestido de lino, que llevaba en la cintura un estuche para escribir. Entraron y se detuvieron ante el altar de bronce.

La gloria del Dios de Israel que descansaba sobre los querubines, se elevó y se dirigió a la entrada del templo. El Señor llamó al hombre vestido de lino que llevaba en la cintura el estuche para escribir y le dijo: “Recorre a Jerusalén y marca con una señal en la frente a los hombres que gimen y lloran por todas las prácticas abominables que se cometen en la ciudad”.

Y oí que les dijo a los otros: “Recorran la ciudad detrás de él y maten sin piedad ni compasión; maten a los viejos y a los jóvenes, a las doncellas, a los niños y a las mujeres, hasta que no quede ni uno. Pero al que tenga la señal en la frente no lo toquen. Comiencen, pues, por mi santuario”.

Entonces ellos empezaron a matar a los ancianos que estaban delante del templo, y el Señor les dijo: “Profanen el templo; llenen sus atrios de cadáveres y salgan después a matar a los que se encuentran en la ciudad”.

Luego la gloria del Señor se elevó del umbral del templo y se posó sobre los querubines. Al partir, los querubines desplegaron sus alas y se elevaron del suelo ante mis ojos. Se detuvieron a la entrada del pórtico oriental del templo del Señor, y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba encima de ellos. Eran los mismos seres vivientes que yo había visto debajo del Dios de Israel, junto al río Kebar, y reconocí que eran los querubines. Cada uno tenía cuatro caras y cuatro alas, y unas como manos bajo las alas. Sus caras se parecían a las que yo había visto junto al río Kebar. Y todos caminaban hacia el frente.

Lectura del santo evangelio según San Mateo 18,15-20

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: “Si tu hermano comete un pecado, ve y amonéstalo a solas. Si te escucha, habrás salvado a tu hermano. Si no te hace caso, hazte acompañar de una o dos personas, para que todo lo que se diga conste por boca de dos o tres testigos. Pero si ni así te hace caso, díselo a la comunidad; y si ni a la comunidad le hace caso, apártate de él como de un pagano o de un publicano.

Yo les aseguro que todo lo que aten en la tierra, quedará atado en el cielo, y todo lo que desaten en la tierra, quedará desatado en el cielo.

Yo les aseguro también que si dos de ustedes se ponen de acuerdo para pedir algo, sea lo que fuere, mi Padre celestial se lo concederá; pues donde dos o tres se reúnen en mi nombre, ahí estoy yo en medio de ellos’’
