“But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” —Matthew 4:4
“How to Thrive” One-Minute Devotion By Wendy Richmond:
“For forty days and nights Jesus had gone without food and he had become very hungry. About that time the devil shows up with an idea. “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” Jesus was the Son of God and he certainly could have turned the stones to bread. But Satan was asking Jesus to use his power and authority to serve himself rather than to depend on the Father for His provision. Jesus was being tested, but instead of turning stones to bread, Jesus puts the devil in his place by quoting the Word of God.”
By not succumbing to temptation, Jesus was teaching us that there’s more to life than just surviving. The Word of God gives us everything we need pertaining to life and godliness. We need food to survive, but we need the Word of God to thrive.”

Here are Some Testimonies You Should Use In Reaching a Verdict
Former President Trump has been embroiled in legal proceedings about both his business dealings and his role in the 2020 election in both New York and Georgia. Hunter Biden has refused to testify before Congress about his questionable income and alleged influence peddling. Both men have been called upon to give testimonies in their defense. As we begin 2024, there are testimonies being given…

"It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
-Matthew 4:4
While reading this I thought to my self, maybe I do have a craving for his word after all and I don't even realize it. I know it may seem far fetched, but lately I have been hungry all the time and I have been questioning why I don't crave the word as much as others do, but perhaps I do just not in a way I thought I would.

Every Word. Living by Every Word from His Mouth
Deuteronomy 8:3 says that the God of Israel, . . . “humbled you and let you be hungry and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh.” Jesus quoted this very verse when he was tempted in the wilderness by Satan (Matthew 4:4). Look at it again. We…

Why Should We Read and Study the Bible Daily?
Why Should We Read and Study the Bible Daily?
1. To obtain instructions. To keep His words in our hearts. “Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.” (Job 22:22) 2. To obtain corrections, which lead to life. “For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.” (Proverbs 6:23) 3. To help us obey God. To avoid sin.  “I have stored what you have…
