📕📖 pls :) Im very curious

This one is an apocalyptic scenario set in europe (bc i'm tired of every apocalypse story taking place in the US). It's a story that continues to flash back to the past and forth to the present, so we get the current situation as well as how we got there. There's four main characters and all of their stories get told, they all end up meeting and having to survive together. The apocalypse is a virus that basically eats at ur organs. When it enters the brain you kind of go feral, and for humans it takes two weeks to get to the brain. Symptoms start with what looks like the flu, but eventually you turn into a mindless creature that only lives to eat human flesh, and the hunger can never be stopped.

Our character Nora (self insert lmao) is a Belgian girl who's in college. When the apocalypse starts she gets split up from her family at the quarantine zone. She decides to camp out with her best friend, a girl called Maxine who goes to class with her and has a son. Maxine lives in the quarantine zone, in an apartment in Antwerp. Nora also secretly has a crush on Maxine. Maxine however ends up getting infected and bites her own son. Nora ends up having to kill both Maxine and the baby boy. This eats at her for the rest of the story. As the quarantine zone gets smaller and smaller Nora befriends three others. Manon, Mats and Annelies. Manon and Mats both end up dying when the quarantine zone eventually falls.

Annelies is a Chinese-Belgian. She's the same age as Nora. I haven't fully figured out her story yet, but basically her parents are stuck in China when the apocalypse breaks out (they went to see the sick grandma) and Annelies and her twin brother Axel have to survive together. Axel ends up dying. Annelies meets Nora once she makes it to the quarantine zone.

Then we have Josiah. He's a British construction worker, and about three years older than the first two. He lived in London when the apocalypse broke out, and because the apocalypse started in the US (bc ofc it did) a lot of them fled to Europe, he chose to join the American flood to Europe and made it all the way to Kopenhagen. But then the quarantine camp in Kopenhagen gets overrun by infected. He then basically jumps from camp to camp, watching all of them inevitably burn down, and then makes it to Antwerp, where he meets Nora. Nora often goes outside of the quarantine zone to loot, and they run into each other in an abandoned mall (this is where the story in the present starts).

Our last character is Nathan. I haven't worked on his past story too much. He is a Frenchman with Nigerian roots. He lives with his aunt in Calais. Aunt got infected and was killed by her boyfriend. Nathan only meets the other three once they make it to Calais, in an attempt to get back to England. That fails. Until Annelies remembers the Apocalypse Vault in Norway. It would give them the tools to survive. So they travel back across Europe.

This is when Nora gets bitten and discovers she's immune. She experiences a mild fever and then just lives. No explanation. She doesn't understand why she gets to live and it bothers her. She also hides it from the others, up until Josiah (Joss) figures it out. In Germany they run into a doctor who has been working to understand the virus. Obviously this doctor is very intrigued by Nora being immune and tests a bunch of things on her. She allows this bc what if they were able to reverse engineer a vaccine? Stuff goes wrong however, and Nora is presumed dead by the others and they are forced to leave her. Nora isn't dead though, and now has to survive on her own. She meets an 11yr old called Martin. The only reason Martin survived the virus outbreak in his local town, is because he is also immune. They stick together. Meanwhile Joss, Annelies and Nathan all got into a gated community in Germany. This community has electricity (powered by a dam) and is very strict on who they allow in.

That's sort of where i leave it off. Ofc Nora will run into the others again but i like to change up how and who she runs into first. There's also a little bit of an unspoken attraction between Nora and Joss (yes Nora is bisexual i told y'all she's a self insert) so that's something to figure out too! There's also a matter of where this virus came from and it potentially being created in the US with the intention of using it as biological warfare.

first off, basing solely on the very obvious physical trait, they have black scleras. uhm i wonder which other mutant has that as a trademark feature??

the power set: manon has the ability to implant memories through touch. and rogue? the ability to siphon memories through touch. maxime is an empath; remy canonically has minimal empathy in his power set, though that has been forgotten by most writers. maxime’s is more of a stretch but manon’s powers are literally a play-on off rogue’s.

ok cute so they have remy’s physical traits and powers related to his and rogue’s but here’s what cements it for me: manon and maxine’s parents are both mutants AND were former students of xavier’s. but whats the big deal though, they could have been ANY other nameless, background characters that have been part of the school at one time or another???

BUT!!!! from this tweet reply from ed brisson, we know that they’re not just any faceless, insignificant character; they’re both active members of the x-men because the kiddos’ parentage warrants a reveal at some point (would a reveal be necessary if they’re not ALREADY active, functioning x-men??). also quite a number of x-men have already seen or met the twins during the extermination event itself but rogue and remy were, once again, excluded. though this is probably bc they were stuck in their space honeymoon or mojoverse and whatnot, i would imagine if they had been there, they would probably elicit some sort of reaction from the twins??? also, “since their timeline here is not the same as the present, it’s possible their parents here won’t have kids”. as it is, there are barely any other x-men who are in a serious relationship, let alone having kids together... except rogue and remy, who just got married and since then have been asked about kids from readers. having the twins brought forward to the present seems like the perfect excuse to not laden romy with kids bc hey, theyre already magically here??

but then, what about them being native french speakers? idk, if remy and rogue could move away from the x-men in x-treme x-men in their very early 20s to live a normal life together, i could see them relocating entirely to raise kids, and coming back to the institute (as we’ve seen in the other panel) when their powers first manifested..

  Selina Delen (°98; /-63kg; JS Reet; 134° WRL): out (0 own)      sinds vorige week nog 12 plaatsen gezakt op de WRL, en verliest ook vandaag haar enige (voor-)kamp in 1/32-fin (ippon - 00s2/10s0) tegen 1ste-jaars Mirjam Wirth (°01; Ger; no WRL). >> video (1/32-fin) Mirjam Wirth - Selina Delen   De Duitse kampioene u21/-63kg (2020) won al wel internationale tornooien als Sindelfingen, Mannheim en Graz, maar stond bij de jeugd nog nooit op het podium van een ECup (5° in Berlin’19 was haar beste); in tegenstelling tot Selina overigens (3° Antalya’15 u18/-63kg & 2° Berlin’18 u21/-63kg - 7x top-7 in totaal).

Stojadinov - in 2020 Europees kampioene u21/-48kg & vice-Europees kampioene Sen/-48kg - miste de OG door een schouderoperatie. Hier in Prague opent Loïs in 1/16-fin tegen de 18-jarige Giorgia Hagianu (°03; Rou; 94° WRL); een vlotte overwinning werd het tegen deze oud Europees kampioene u18/-40kg (2018); na 23″sec een mooie schouderworp (w-a) na een change of direction en net voorbij halfweg countert Loïs een o-soto met ippon. >> video (1/16-fin) Loïs - Giorgia Hagianu  In 1/8-fin een verbeten gevecht tegen Alessia Ritieni (°98; Ita; 106° WRL). 2 judoka’s die aan elkaar gewaagd zijn, maar de oud Italiaans kampioene toch iets dominanter en wint uiteindelijk in GS met shido (00s2/00s3). >> video (1/8-fin) Loïs - Alessia Ritieni   Hieruit blijkt nogmaals het relatieve van EK/WK-medailles bij de jeugd in /-40kg & /-44kg. Op zich erg mooi natuurlijk en kán een indicatie voor potentieel inhouden, maar Ritieni bvb. bereikte dit nooit omdat ze steeds /-48kg vocht bij de jeugd, maar nu toch minstens de evenknie blijkt van Loïs; in de onderlinge duels stond het vóór vandaag overigens 1-1 (verlies WCup Warsaw’20 & winst WCup Malaga’21). Beiden zijn “goed WCup niveau” zonder meer. 

   Jente Verstraeten (°01; /-48kg; IGW; 108° WRL) : out (0 own) mooi 5° vorig weekend in Warsaw, maar vandaag out in haar 1ste kamp (1/16-fin) tegen Manon Urdiales (°97; Fra; 89° WRL); gaandeweg moet Jente in de kamp de dominantie van de meer ervaren Manon ondergaan (als senior 3 ECup & 2 WCup medailles), en verliest uiteindelijk relatief snel met 3 shido’s. >> video (1/16-fin) Jente - Manon Urdiales   Urdiales verliest daarna overigens kansloos tegen latere finaliste Laura Martinez Abelenda (°98; Esp; 19° WRL). De Spaanse won bij de jeugd al 2 EK & 2 WK medailles /-48kg en vocht al 7 final-blocks op een GSL. Het werd trouwens een Spaanse finale tegen Mireia Lapuerta Comas (°99; Esp; 74° WRL), vorige week 3° WCup Warsaw. En alvast tot mijn verbazing, won dit maal Lapuerta.  Onderling staat het tussen Laura-Mireia nu 3-1.

-A: They were standing there watching her, had been keeping tabs on her the whole night, but they were waiting for the right time to make their move.

Joan: Joan had just gotten to the party not that long ago and was enjoying herself. It's been awhile since she had been able to do that. She took a look around at everyone's costumes, most of them were definitely creative. "Oh excuse me." She mentioned before walking in front of someone.

-A: They had of course gotten a costume together that would hide who they were well enough but that wouldn't draw too much attention since they needed to stay relatively under the radar. Moving over, -A waited for Joan to walk closer to them and then they reached out to tap her shoulder. "Hi! I got you this drink, I noticed you didn't have one!" She trilled enthusiastically, holding the drugged drink out towards her in a friendly manner.

Joan: She looked over at the person speaking to her, Joan felt uneasy for whatever reason, but figured since it was Halloween it would be okay. " Oh, thank you. It saves me a trip to the counter for one." She chuckled, taking the drink, unknown to her that it's not a drink she should have. "Love the costume, what exactly are you?" She asked taking a small sip.

-A: "I'm the devil!" -A chuckled, nodding and feeling satisfied when Joan took a drink. Hopefully it would work quick enough, they had a big night planned. "What are you?"

Joan: Her eyes were feeling drooping but she let out a soft chuckle while holding onto the table next to them. " I think it's a good costume. I'm supposed to be  a witch." She told them quietly, " I think I need to sit down, I don't feel so good all of a sudden."  Whatever was in her drink,  it was causing her to be that way. She didn't know what was going on, and why she was feeling this way. But the minute she sat down, she felt even worse.

-A: -A smiled. "I like it." Of course they couldn't care about the costume, they just wanted to keep her talking. "Oh, careful." They pretended to be sympathetic, looking over their shoulder but nobody seemed to be paying attention. "Come sit over here where it's quieter." They insisted, linking arms with Joan so they could lead her.

Joan: "Thanks... I wasn't so sure if I was going to be this tonight or not." She told the person while she slowly walked towards the area they were leading her. It was nice that someone was helping her. Don't think anyone around the party would have done that. " I don't know why I'm feeling so tired and sleepy all of a sudden." She mumbled

-A: They shrugged. "Did you have much to eat today? That could be why it's hit you so quickly." She suggested, leading her closer to the little hidden clearing where they'd stashed their van.

Joan: Joan shook her head, " No... I had plenty to eat today." She said trying to look around and see where she was at, " Are we outside?"

-A: "Shh, it's alright." She continued to pull her along easy enough considering the drug had done its job. -A pulled their keys out of their pocket so it would be easy to shove her in.

Joan: "I don't think I should be outside... I should go back in." She muttered, feeling even more drowsy than ever. " Thanks for helping me though...."

-A:

"No, come on... over here, it's fine." They insisted, continuing to lead her along.

Joan: "No please let me go back inside. I can get more help." She told them trying to wiggle her arm out of their hands, although her wiggle was weak.

-A: All fake kindness went out of the window as they tightened their grip on her. "I don't think so." Joan was weak even if she was still fighting so that made it easier. -A tugged her a bit more roughly, towards the van they'd stowed away. "You're coming with me."

-A: She winced at the tightening on her arm. " I just want to go back." Joan mumbled. " I have work in the morning..."

-A: -A didn't speak to her any longer, instead unlocking the back of the van they'd dragged her to and pushing her in. "Just go to sleep, Joan."

Joan: She wanted to cry, but she didn't. Joan had no idea what was going on, and why she was leaving the party. But her eyes felt even more heavier. "I'm not sleeping , just closing my eyes..." She barely said above a whisper before closing her eyes and falling into a deep sleep.

-A: Once Joan was out -A knew she'd stay that way. Joan was left in the van until they got the others and then -A drove them out to the abandoned farmhouse, imprisoning them all by themselves in separate parts, since the Dollhouse was mostly out of action.

Phoebe: Phoebe had been enjoying her night. As much as she had mostly come with Gabby to make sure that Max hadn’t been catfished, it was nice to be out. Leaning over to kiss Gabby’s cheek, she murmured. “I’m just going to grab us some more drinks.” She smiled, giving her hand a squeeze before moving towards the drink table.

-A: They had easily positioned themselves behind the drink table, looking like they simply worked there for the night, the pill they were about to drop into the drink they'd make sure Phoebe drank from tucked in between her fingers to make it easy to drug the girls drink to make grabbing her easier. "Oh, here you go!"

Phoebe: Phoebe smiled softly, taking the drink and taking a sip. “Thank you. I just need another one for my friend too.” She explained, taking another sip.

-A: “Oh, sure!" Nodding enthusiastically as they grabbed another drink, satisfied as they watched her taking a couple of sips. It shouldn't take too long, they'd just have to make sure she was more or less by herself. "Here you go." Maybe they'd lure her away or maybe she'd end up stumbling off herself but they'd be keeping a close eye on her.

Phoebe: Phoebe took the drink with a smile, moving back across the party to Gabby. She handed her girlfriend the drink with a smile, dancing along to the music as she sipped at her drink.  It wasn’t long before the whole room was spinning. She looked over at Gabby, giving her a small smile. “Baby, I’ll be right back. I just have to find something to snack on.” She kissed Gabby before turning and stumbling off, not really sure where she was headed.

-A: They kept their eyes on her, not being too obvious about it but also not having to do too much hiding, everyone was busy trying to have fun. -A moved through the crowd as they noticed Phoebe becoming more unsteady and then, like magic, she was heading off on her own. Perfect. They picked up the pace through the crowd, eventually coming up beside her. "Are you alright?"

Phoebe:

Phoebe looked up when she was spoken to, moving her hand to her head. “Um, yeah, yeah, I think so. The drink just hit me a bit faster than I was expecting it to.” She mumbled, looking over at them. “Do you know if there are any snacks?”

-A: They quickly linked their arm through Phoebe's to prevent escape, nodding. "Yeah, over here. I'll show you."

Phoebe: Thanks to the drugged drink, Phoebe didn’t question them as they linked arms with her. “Thank you.” She slurred, giving them a small smile.It was so easy.

-A: It was always so easy and it kind of made them smile as they led Phoebe away, eventually reaching the van they'd stowed to transport her off, obviously no snacks, but she seemed out of it enough to not be able to wriggle out of it. They unlocked the back, glanced over their shoulder and then shoved her in.

-A: There was a lot of drugs going around tonight but that was fine by her, it was fun... to watch the people descend into chaos or pass out, and to get the ones she was taking into the van. -A's eyes settled on Manon through the crowd, marking her as their next target.

Manon: Manon had just come back from the bathroom, working her way through the party to try and find Brett. She moved to the bar, thinking it would be the best vantage point to find him.

-A: Moving over to the bar as they watched her go, -A easily slipped behind it in the crowd, acting as though they worked there. "What can I get you?" They asked, stopping in front of Manon, eyeing her carefully.

Manon: Manon turned, noticing the bartender. "Screwdriver and a beer please," she requested, figuring she would grab hers and Brett's drinks before going to find him.

-A: No other staff seemed to notice, probably due to the costume so they couldn't quite tell who they were. Still, -A had to be careful. They turned towards the back table to fix up her drinks, easily dropping the drugs into the drink before turning back around and sliding the two of them over. "There you go. It's free tonight. Have fun."

Manon: Manon was looking around, not paying attention to the bartender as they made her drinks. When she heard the glasses hit the table she looked back, ready to pull out her wallet. "Oh, thank you," she said, grabbing them and taking a drink of hers before she started to look for Brett.

-A: Their eyes followed her as she left and then they moved from behind the bar and back into the crowd to keep watch.

Manon: Manon began to stumble as she maneuvered through the crowd. The world felt like it was tilting on its axis more than it should. All the sounds around her seemed to blur and she ended up dropping the beer as she began walking towards the exit. Something was wrong and the bumping of people was causing her heart to beat faster.

-A: It hit fast and they were pretty pleased with that as they followed her at a safe enough distance through the crowd. Manon was the last one they needed to grab and get into the van and then they could finally be off to transport the three of them out to the abandoned farmhouse. Still, one thing at a time, they picked up the pace a little and caught up with Manon, bumping her slightly as an excuse to take hold of her arm. "Oh, I'm sorry!" A fake laugh. "Hey, are you alright?"

Manon: Manon nearly fell forward as someone bumped into her. If it wasn't for the wall she might have fallen over. That and the person who grabbed her. "Umm," she hummed, holding her head with her other hand. "I don't know. Something's not right."

-A: "Oh, no.." -A trilled, pretending to give a damn. "Come over here, I'll help you." They began to lead her away towards the exit.

Manon: Manon, not understanding or aware that this might be a bad idea, nodded, letting the stranger guide her away.

-A: -A found it easy to guide her off to the van, more than happy to quickly bundle her inside. "Just go to sleep." They told her, not even sure if she was aware of them anymore. "It'll be over soon."

-A: They'd been watching for a while now. Maxine was the final one of the night and she should be quite easy. They weren't keeping her in the abandoned farmhouse out at the hill like the others, they had their own little plan for Maxine. Drugging her drink was easy, she wasn't even watching it, and they just made sure to stay clear of Carly until it was time to grab the redhead.

Maxine: She danced for a while, then tugged Carly off into the woods a little more to make out with her. She agreed to go home with Carly but she eventually felt so weird and dizzy, staggering off to grab something, and then disappeared and no one else saw her that night.

TASK #3 - RUNNING AGAINST TIME

Era um sábado, horários diferentes para cada um. Mas o que houve em comum naquele dia, foi que todos os alunos envolvidos receberam a mesma mensagem do anônimo que vinha os atormentando. A mensagem tinha um link, ao clicar havia um teaser, propondo que a pessoa fosse até um lugar. Muitos não queriam levar a sério, para que fazer o que esse idiota estava pedindo? Mas o que eles tinham a perder? Tudo; e a pessoa atrás daquela tela sabe disso.

INFORMAÇÕES GERAIS

Essa task é de interações em grupo e é um tipo de “scavenger hunt”, todos precisam desvendar os lugares e objetivos que o -E quer antes que o tempo determinado acabe, caso contrário o anônimo promete que os segredos serão revelados.

Todos os personagens irão receber mensagens com link do anônimo, que irá contar um teaser (enigma, coordenadas, direções, etc), que será o lugar que esse personagem precisa ir. Seu personagem NÃO SABE quem está no grupo dele, ele apenas abriu o link e DECIDIU IR, porque sabe que tem o que perder e porque o anônimo prometeu que QUEM CONCLUIR A TASK IRÁ APRENDER ALGO SOBRE O QUE ACONTECEU COM A ELOISE. Quando chegar lá, ele vai se deparar com as outras pessoas do grupo dele.

Como ficaria impossível de monitorar todos os grupos, irei mandar para todos os integrantes um post que contém tudo o que os personagens precisam fazer para atingir o objetivo que -E pretende e, assim, concluir a task. Vai ser um passo a passo do que eles precisam fazer, vocês podem seguir ou não, apenas mantenham-se no personagem!! Lembre-se que o seu char não tem como ser onisciente e onipresente para saber de certas coisas. Aqueles que não cumprirem a task no tempo estipulado, sofrerão consequências relacionadas ao seu segredo.

Quais serão as consequências? SEU PERSONAGEM NÃO SABE, mas caso o grupo não seja capaz de cumprir tudo no tempo estipulado, os integrantes serão obrigados a votar em uma pessoa para ter o seu segredo revelado. HAVENDO EMPATE, o anônimo liberará os segredos de todos os componentes. LEMBRANDO QUE, seu personagem não sabe disso, porém ao fim do tempo, o próprio -E irá informar.

E para os que concluírem? -E é caótico, mas honesto. Quem concluir, receberá informações importantes sobre a Eloise, que ajudarão o seu personagem a entender o que aconteceu com ela.

O que o anônimo ganha com essa scavenger hunt? Primeiro, fazer os personagens vocês de escravo, elx ama isso KKKKKK. Segundo, indiretamente os seus personagens farão coisas que o anônimo não pode fazer sem comprometer a própria identidade. A galera vai funcionar como burra de carga para ele mesmo, mas seu personagem NÃO SABE DISSO, mas pode desconfiar.

DURAÇÃO DA TASK: em OOC do dia 29/05 (sexta-feira) às 16h até dia 03/06 (quarta-feira) às 23h59. em IC, porém, acontecerá em horários diferentes no dia 24/10/2020 (sábado).

Vocês podem montar grupos OOC com os parceiros de grupo, só tenham em mente que eles não sabem de primeira que vão estar acompanhados.

Não existe limite mínimo de interação por pessoa, MAS SEJAM RAZOÁVEIS, eles precisam atingir os objetivos e fazer o que o anônimo pede. Em grupos maiores, não precisa ser uma interação enorme, podem diminuir o tamanho, para não ficar trabalhoso. Vocês podem combinar quem acha a coisa X, faz coisa X, entre outras opções (vai ficar tudo mais claro quando vocês receberem as instruções).

As instruções da task vão ser enviadas no chat de cada personagem, conforme o grupo que ele foi colocado.
