so red is my favorite taylor album and i was honestly nervous for the re-recording but i’m pleased:)

my friend and i were arguing earlier cause she doesn’t like the last time and the lucky one re-recordings and i think they’re two of the best😭 and the lucky one is my favorite taylor song so i had high expectations. gary lightbodys voice has gotten so good and the emotion in the lucky one just destroyed me.

like everyone else i don’t love what she did with girl at home but i don’t like that song anyways so😳 i’m sure i’ll revisit the original occasionally but i think she nailed it.

yay i'm happy that you enjoyed it! i really like the lucky one and the last time re-recordings too. i think that the lucky one sounds almost exactly the same, and i'm relistening to the last time now and i also think that it sounds really similar to the original. gary's voice is so so good! the emotion in both of them are incredible. and with the lucky one, she knows soo much more now about fame than she did in 2012 😔

i personally disagree and i don't think she nailed girl at home tv because i have no clue what she was trying to do like idk.. maybe if it was a whole new song then i could appreciate it, but right now i'm just like ??
