Countdown to Christmas- Day 25/Christmas Day!!!- December Crystal/Akikak Quannik @sundove88 aka Me! And @nightcovefox

It is officially Christmas Day and I have December Crystal, the linker of IceMan from MegaMan Mega Linkage!

To be fair, December Crystal is her given name, while her Inuit name is Akiak Quannik, with Akiak meaning “First Snow” and Quannik meaning “Fluffy” or Snowflake. I got inspired by Katara from Avatar The Last Airbender for her design!

And her birthday is on December 21, the first day of winter! And that was 4 days ago, so happy b day to her!

Anyways, the reason why I made all this art to post throughout December?

It was to make presents for all of you- my cherished followers who’ve always been there.

I hope we can do this again next year, and I hope you all have a safe and happy holidays!

"Someone of your low voltage could never hope to stop me!" I started just draing randomly selected Robot Masters today, and I really liked the energy of this Elec Man, so I decided to finish him.

Being the first game in the Mega Man series, Mega Man/Rockman (1987) has more publicly documented unused concepts than any other entry. One of the longest lasting, interestingly, seems to be the concept of a snake-like enemy made up of many orbs. The earliest example currently available is a brief mention in the development documents released on the Capcom Town website, amidst other scrapped or reworked enemies. (Translation by Windii for Rockman Corner.)

The 'Joe' name would go on to be used by Sniper Joes, though it is unknown if the two are related. The enemy itself, however, would not be fully given up on until seemingly much later in development, as concept art for the Super Cutter hazards in Cut Man's stage shows the blades being trailed by spherical body segments, though the "slithering" behavior is unknown as to whether it was still planned.

Lastly, these orbs appear in the tile data of the final game, as documented on TCRF. This is even present in physical sheets that were displayed at the Rockman Unite event, suggesting that their removal was a decision made only after implementing them at least partially. It would take until Mega Man 3 for snake-like enemies of any kind to finally be added to the series.

I personally believe that it's canon that Elec Man loves going to amusement parks. I remember seeing him being all dorky when going to an amusement park in Megamix. Later on, I came across this shot of Elec being absolutely happy while holding a balloon.
