I had iaido practice again today, this time with my iaido teacher. I usually wear a montsuki with practices with him. This is one I made at least 10 years ago. Explanation: Elegant simplicity; it checks all the boxes. Love the touch of personality through his choice of checkered tasuki for tying off his sleeves. However, he doesn't seem to be wearing on obi under his hakama, so far that I must deduct a half point. Otherwise, lovely.
