“Hello, everyone! It’s me, Lucinda, the Good Little Midnight Witch from Dunwiddie! Thank you for being with me during all my adventures and the more than three years and a half of this blog! Sincerely, I’m quite surprised at all the love that I got during all the time the show in which I was, “Sofia the First”, for which I’m quite thankful and blessed!

It was such a honor to be on the final episode of the show, and of course, being voiced by my lovely little voice actresslet, Merit Leighton! I felt quite like a heroine on it, I mean, helping Princess Sofia to run (even if I got hypnotised) and helping Cedric to get Sofia outta the Amulet of Avalor! That was so hexin’ awesome! And I didn’t even knew that Sofia was a Protector of the Mystic Isles! I couldn’t expect less from her! She’s amazing!

Anyways, thank you all for the support and for all the love that I’ve received during all this time, you all are so hexin’ amazing! And of course, I’d like to thank my voice actress, Merit Leighton, for voicing me during those episodes in which I was, the dub actresses all around the world for making me to talk diverse languages... and of course, to Craig Gerber and all his team for creating me! I had quite a blast during all those epiosdes in which I was!

I wish my little voice actress, Merit Leighton, the very best on her current, future projects and her life in general! And of course, I wish you all the very best in your lifes, too!

Some days ago, by pure curiosity, I went to Merit Leighton’s IMDB page, and I saw that in the “Sofia the First” part of her IMDB page, there was a new episode, called “Too Cute to Spook”.

Funnily enough, the only cast member credited so far on that episode is the own Merit as our beloved Good Little Cutie Little Midnight Witchlet called Lucinda.

But even through it’s on IMDB, remember something: DON’T BELIEVE ANYTHING UNTIL IT’S CONFIRMED BY THE OWN SHOW STAFF! Why? Because it’s better to be hyped at something confirmed than ending up with the hype train (or hype broom, most well) crashed by something that ends up being fake.

Sure, Merit has said on sites like her Twitter, Instagram and her Tumblr ( @meritleighton ) that she recorded some more episodes in which we’ll see more of Lucinda, but we don’t even know anything more about them, not even their titles!

From the 9th to the 25th of February this year, the Winter Olympics were held in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Now that the events have come to a close, let us take a look at some of the highlights on social media, particularly some of those that do not involve the competing athletes themselves.

I. Soohorang (수호랑), the official mascot

What could be more popular on social media than the affable Soohorang, the official mascot for the 2018 Winter Olympics? This post, with several mascots gathered together to take a photograph backstage before making their final appearance in the closing ceremony, garnered 42914 likes and 685 comments as of the time of writing.

The marketing team of the Pyeongchang Olympics appears to have done their best to anthropomorphize the mascot. Thanks to their efforts, Soohorang has received much love over the Olympic season, with many posts on social media about its antics, such as the ones below.

A doll version of the mascot was even given to Olympic medalists in place of the flower wreaths that were handed to the medalists in the past.

Soohorang also made a final appearance in the closing ceremony in drone form.

It also appeared on stage, holding the hand of Hodori, the mascot of the 1988 Summer Olympics, which was held in South Korea.

II. EXO at the closing ceremony

The Korean boy band’s performance during the closing ceremony has been tweeted about so many times that the hashtag #Olympics_EXO continues to trend with several million tweets in various countries across the world.

Some of the tweets showed the boys backstage, waiting for their turn to perform.

Many of the tweets came from fans of EXO, who were glad that the band was being seen on an international platform and were even being mentioned in the news and on the radio.

III. Politicians in the Winter Olympics

While the Olympics is in part a sporting competition, it is certainly also a large scale event of political interest. Many different news articles have been written about the brief unification of North and South Korea during the Olympics this year as well as about the unified Korean flag. But let’s take a look at what made it onto the social media accounts of regular people.

Here we see South Korean President, Moon Jae-In, with his wife along with American President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump, Korean boy band EXO and Korean singer CL all posing for the camera. They can be seen very sportingly making mini hearts with their fingers, a sign that is often used by Korean celebrities to express their love towards their fans.

Once again, I’d love to thank all the followers and other people from the “Sofia the First” fandom (or at least, the ones that remain, because the show ended three months ago) for the support, including the own @meritleighton for doing a great job voicing, for the last time (hopefully for the moment, in case they announce a spin-off of her someday (anybody can dream, right?)), this adorable Good Little Cutie Midnight Witch called Lucinda! And also, I’d like to thank her for the support that she gave to Lucinda fans during some time on Tumblr (in 2013, and between 2015 and 2016/2017)!
