Raiden x Reader bodyguard headcannons

-At first, everything was strictly business; Raiden's job was to guard you, and so he would do just that. Nothing more.

-He performed his duties diligently and seriously, until someone tried to attack you. The moment he saw the perpetrator, something snapped inside him. He cut that sorry sop down in an instant, leaving a mass of flesh in his wake.

-He was bombarding you with questions in a manner that was highly uncharacteristic of him; most of these questions were about your health, and if you were emotionally and physically okay.

-Afterwards, Raiden found himself growing more and more protective of you, and not just because it was his job to guard you.

-Eventually, he realized that his feelings for you weren't professional anymore--he was in love. With you. His client. Jesus, what would he do now?

-He tries to ignore it and keep up his stoic front, hoping that this is all just a phase and that it'll die down soon. When it doesn't, he's faced with a choice. Either walk away and try forget about you, or flip off society with his girlboss fingers and confess.

-After a very long brooding session, he decided to confess to you on the way back from one of your outings. The two of you were in his car, with you looking out the window while he concentrated on the road. Once you guys pulled up to a red light, he decided to confess.

-"Y/N? I want to tell you something, even if it is sorta unprofessional...I...love ya. I love ya. Yeah. I...said it."

-Needless to say, he was very nervous. Even cyborgs can get butterflies in their stomachs. Once you heard this confession, y I u were shocked--not because of his unprofessionalism, like he feared, but because you loved him too!

-After that, you and Raiden agreed to keep this whole thing between the two of you, as keeping the public in the dark was in both of your best interests.

-Despite your efforts to keep your romance hidden, some aspects of your new relationship managed to slip through into your daily lives. All of a sudden, you're taking Raiden with you to more locations than usual, you start taking him by the hand and calling him Jack--it's noticeable, but people don't really question it. As far as they're concerned, you've just developed a strong friendship.

-Now, activities that take place behind closed doors are a completely different story. He will pin you to the nearest wall/hard surface and begin assaulting you with kisses to the lips, collarbone, cheeks, whatever he can reach.

-He will hold you so, so tightly whenever he can, sometimes squeezing you so hard your oxygen gets cut off for a second.

-But he doesn't want to hurt you, he can't help his strength. All Raiden really wants is to keep you safe and make sur3 you know you're loved at all times.

-He's more than just a bodyguard now, he's your ultimate protector. Cherish him; he's more devoted than a German Shephard.

Funny Senator

Its hard for me to overstate just how funny of a way Season 7 opened, and how perfectly it distilled the essence of SiIvaGunner down to just two weeks time. The Season premiered on the first day of February after a month's break of uploads for the duration of January, and it was with this premiere - Super Sonic Racing - Sonic R - that the season was labeled as "the year of Grand Dad". We'd finally reached the Season celebrating the funny number! The year was declared a celebration of SiIva's legacy, of its most stories memes and jokes from every season, and throughout the years they would definitely deliver on that promise.

Yet barely two weeks after the premiere, we suddenly had the rug pulled from under our feet. From February 13th to February 16th, the celebration was no longer of SiIvaGunner, or of Grand Dad. Now, the celebration was of hit electro-Forró band Os Barões da Pisadinha, and their immediately recognizable style of music.

I've talked about the takeover before in Rainbow Baroad, but these guys are BIGLY popular in Brazil, despite or perhaps even because so much of their music all sounds so similar. There's an infectiously fun sound to their electro-Forró style, and the SiIva team already began messing around with it midway through Season 6. Much like rips of Slider such as yesterday's WA-HOO DISCO, a key part of the fun with these rips is just how unified the style of music becomes when arranged in this distinct instrumentation. With Rainbow Baroad, the song already had a sort of laid-back, chill vibe to it that fit Os Barões' tropical sound like a glove. Funny Senator sits on the complete opposite end: Forró music is perhaps as far removed from Metal Gear Rising's style of music as you could possibly get, and yet that total disconnect ends up creating a super fun tune!

The rearranging already sells the joke perfectly, but the original vocals being added on top of this far sillier instrumental, trying so hard to remain epic whilst still being overruled by the pure vibes of those steel drums...The visual it creates as a joke is just far too good for me to ignore. Its like a final battle taking place on a sunny-day public beach, or like an intense game of beachside volleyball between Raiden and Armstrong finally reaching its conclusion.

One day I'll relisten to the whole album and probably pick out a third favorite Os Barões rip, but until then I'm comfortable in calling these two my absolute favorites.

Yandere!Raiden x Fem!Reader Isolation headcannons

-It all started out innocently enough; it was rather late at night, and you were relaxing at home, watching some TV all by yourself, when you heard someone thumping on the door.

-Before you could even react, the door burst open, revealing a single, glowing red eye staring out from the darkness of night.

-The person stomped into the room, a glowing, buzzing sword in his hand. You leaped up from your seat and raced for the phone to try and call the police, but he was too fast.

-In one swift motion, he'd caught up to you, wrapped a cold, metallic limb around your waist, and carried you out the door, kicking and screaming.

-After a while, your yelling tired him, so he set you down, pressed a chloroform-soaked cloth to your mouth, waited for you to pass out, then continued carting you off to wherever it was he was taking you.

-When you awoke, you found yourself in a dimly lit room with a bed, a table, two chairs, and a wardrobe filled with clothes. There were no windows, and only two doors. One door was locked from the outside, the other led to a surprisingly well-stocked bathroom.

-Raiden visited you shortly after you woke up, introduced himself, and informed you that you were now a "guest" here in this "facility" that he owned. He loved you so much, or so he said, and claimed that you would be locked in your room for your own safety.

-He brings in meals of astounding quality, probably having taken then from a fancy restaurant, and lets you browse online stores for anything you might desire, which he will promptly order for you.

-He doesn't let you out of your room often, but when he does, he keeps you handcuffed and on a leash, and only allows you to walk around the building and its surrounding woods.

-After wandering the premises with him for some time, you concluded the building Raiden kept you in was an abandoned factory-turned-hotel in the middle of literally nowhere; there was absolutely no chance anyone would find you here.

-And if anyone did happen to stumble upon your prison new home, Raiden would gut them in seconds.

-So get used to this place, and to Raiden, because they're all you're gonna see for a while.
