Ruko had gotten up early to surprise everyone with some breakfast when he saw Willow getting ready to go outside. So with a sigh he'd walk over to her and cross his arms. "So first question, where do you think you're going without telling anyone?" He knew she'd be okay since she had been chosen, but even with a legendary connected to her it was dangerous for her to go out without saying a word to anyone. Along with this was the fact he had made plans with Blackburn. And now he got the feeling that those plans would have to be put on hold. "Second question, have you had breakfast yet? If not than I'll make you something. If you did than I'm getting something to eat, some tea, and you're explaining why you were trying to sneak out." He was a bit grouchy because he hadn't gotten fully woken up yet. And he would definitely need a cup of tea before he was ready for a full day.

"Uhhh..." Willow grips her backpack handles and her feet turn in just a bit. "... I had b'eakfast, yeah." She points to the drying plate and utensil. "I'm n't goin' t' do anyt'in bad! I... I wa't t' see m' fr'ends!" She hurries over to Ruko and pulls out a piece of paper that she had doodled a map to what looked like a hidden place in the mountainsides of Grandcrest Ranch. "M' fr'end's 're mak'n somethin' f'r Mewtw'!" She said excitedly. "I ask'd 'em too!"

She runs into the kitchen, pulling out a spoon from the drawer and showing it to him. "Spo'n! A big 'ne! For Mewtw'! Saw a pict're of it on Mama's com... compu... compu'r!"

Hi I've been looking at your Mewtwo stuff for awhile now and I can't help but notice how nuanced and mature your takes are, especially on Giovanni who can be likened to a narcissistic abuser. Compared to most, ahem "artists" on here, who simply treat Mewtwo as a meme or housepet. You really seem to respect him, and I can't wait to see the comic on how you met him. I also admire how unapologetic you are to self ship with him.

I treat Mewtwo differently than most because I have a certain reverence for him. He was truly my guiding light at times where I didn't even want to exist any more. He inspires me to keep going and honestly I wouldn't even be having a job in biological research now if it wasn't for him. Considering how much impact he has had on my life so far, I could never just treat him as some sort of stupid meme or a housepet. Frankly, treating him as such is insulting. He is too intelligent to be a housepet, and he knows how to take care of not only himself, but also those close to him (I mean, look at him, and how he is depicted in official media as a HEALER. Always taking care of wounded and abandoned Pokémon,whether it's his clones, or wild Pokemon). I don't like the stereotypes surrounding him in the Fandom.

I don't think that many people are able to recognize Giovanni as a narcissist because they lack the experience of being raised by one, like me and my brother have been (we have real, lived experience of that, which is hard to understand for anyone who had supportive and normal parents). Or these people still have the naive belief that everyone deep down has a good core. They are oblivious to the fact that we have psychopaths among us who truly only care about themselves and who cannot be redeemed. A mafia boss who created a living weapon like Mewtwo to serve in his plan of world domination certainly counts as a fictional depiction of such psychopaths. Team Rocket has plundered Pokémon and tortured them and sold them for financial gain. But Fandom still gives Giovanni a pass somehow just because he is "sexy".

I was raised by a narcissist mother. I never felt truly seen by her, and she told me she made me to be her slave. So how else was I able to interpret Giovanni but as a narcissist, when he said the same to Mewtwo in the movie? "You were made to serve me." No wonder I took Mewtwo as my role model. I remember wishing I had actual psychic powers too, it would have made escaping so much easier. Instead I thought of him when I needed strength.

Oh man, when it comes to Mewtwo and shipping... I don't have any hesitation here. I have always loved Mewtwo, so why should I pretend that I don't? He was always important to me in real life as well, after all. Or why should I make up some Pokémon OC and use that as a proxy to ship with Mewtwo? Lakota/mewtwoandme actually admitted to me in a DM that this is what Gwen the Gardevoir is, BTW. She was too afraid to ship herself with Mewtwo because she worried that people will judge her for it and that it is seen as "icky" to selfship as herself. I am kind of disappointed of that, but it is her comic and story to tell. I am not really a fan of the Gardevoir x Mewtwo, or Mew x Mewtwo or Lucario x Mewtwo ships in general, they are too cliché for my liking and I don't see how movie1!Mewtwo would ever fall in love with them. However, I ADORE honest selfshippers of Mewtwo or Newtwo! I always get curious about their stories and how they fell in love with them!

Anyway, I hope you will enjoy my comic! Even though I gotta apologize that it is taking so long to finish - I am still swamped with work IRL, but will officially be free starting from the 16th, so hopefully I will get way more done then. Though I am wondering if to post on my blog here or make an entirely new blog? Or at least a special tag so people can just look at the comic and don't have to see my other selfships if they are only here for the Mewtwo content.

All Pokédex entries from the Vida Translations Pokémon Silver (Part 1/2)

I did this just for the sake of nostalgia. I modified my save file to fill up the entire Pokédex so that I can enjoy all the Pokédex entries I read as a kid, which I later learnt were just made-up stuff by fans. The most memorable one that I can still recall is Mareep’s entry, where the fan translator claimed, “So called because of Mary, who had a little lamb.” (I’m typing this off the top of my head. Let’s see how much of it I’ve correctly remembered!) All spelling and grammatical mistakes are preserved.

BULBA: A strange seed on its back grows with it.

IVYSA: Its bulb grows so large it, can’t stand up!

VENUS: The plant blooms when absorbing solar.

CHARM: When it rains, steam rises from its tail.

CHARL: Its tail can raise temperatures to 10000C.

CHARZ: Spits fire hot enough to melt boulders.

SQUIR: After birth, its back hardens to become a shell.

WARTO: Often hides in water, stalking preys.

BLAST: This POKeMON has pressurized water jets.

CATER: It has suckers on its feet for climbing.

METAP: It’s vulnerable to attacks when its shell is soft.

BUTTE: Flaps its wings to release very toxic dust!

WEEDL: It has a sharp venomous stinger on its head.

KAKUN: Can only harden its shell for protection.

BEEDR: Attacks using the big stingers on its arms.

PIDGE: Flaps its wings at ground level to kick up sand.

PDGTO: This POKemon will fiercely attack any intruder.

PIDGT: Can fly up to twice the speed of sound.

RATTA: Small and fast, it attacks with sharp teeth.

RATIC: Uses its whiskers to maintain its balance.

NIDOK: Uses its tail to smash, bind then break.

CLEFY: Many admire its magical and cute appearance.

CLEFB: Runs and hides the moment it senses people.

VULPI: The tail split from its tip as it gets older.

NINET: Grabing one its tails could curse you.

JIGGL: Sings its enemies to sleep with its melody.

WIGGL: When angry, it will inflate to a huge size.

ZUBAT: Uses ultrasonic to avoid objects while flying.

GOLBA: It attacks by draining the blood out.

ODDIS: If you yank it out of the ground, it shrieks.

GLOOM: Oozes nectar which is used to attract prey.

VILEP: The larger its petals, th more poison it holds.

PARAS: The mushrooms grow by drawing the blood.

PRSCT: The parasite has taken over the bug host.

VENON: Lives in the shadows of tall tress.

VENOM: Its wings show the poison it holds

DIGLE: Lives about a yard underneath ground.

DUGTR: DIGLETT triplets. Triggers huge earthquake.

MEOWT: Wanders streets looking for loose coins.

PERSI: Its fur raises a high price on the black mart.

PSYDK: Its attacks are strongest with a headache.

GOLDK: Often mistaken for the Japanese monster KAPPA!

MCHOK: It must wear a powersave belt to move!

MCHMP: Its punches can hit you clear over the horizon.

BELLS: This POKeMON feeds on bugs and insects.

WEEPI: Spits out POISON POWDER to kill its prey.

VICTR: Said to live in colonies deep in jungles.

TCOOL: Anglers who hook them are often stung.

TNTCR: It’s tentacles can paralysed anything!

GEODU: People often mistaken them for boulders.

GRAVL: Rolls over any obstacle without break!

GOLEM: It can easily withstand dynamite blasts.

PONYT: It can trample anything fast in a little time.

RAPID: This POKeMON will chase anything that moves.

SLOWP: It takes 5 seconds for it to feel pain.

SLOWB: The SHELLDER on its tail feeds on scraps.

MGMIT: Uses anti-gravity to stay suspended.

MGTON: Formed by several MAGNEMITEs linking together.

FARFE: Uses its spring of green onion like a SWD.

DUODO: Makes up for its poor flying with fast feet.

DODRI: While two heads sleep, the other stays up.

SEEL: The hard horn its head is used to fight.

DEWGO: Swims at a steady 8 knots in any water.

GRIME: Appears in filthy areas with pollution.

MUK: It is thickly covered with a vile sludge.

SHELL: It is vulnerable only when it shell is opened.

CLOYS: When attacked, it launches its horn fast.

GAST: Cloaks the target and outs it to sleep.

HAUNT: It is said to be from another dimension.

GENGA: It likes to mimic the shadows of people.

ONIX: As it grows, it hardens like a diamond.

DROWZ: Occasionally gets sick from eating bad dreams.

HYPNO: Uses a mix of PSI moves such as HYPNOSIS.

KRABB: Its pincers are also used for keeping balance.

KINGL: The large pincer has 10000HP of crushing power.

VOLTO: They are easily mistaken for a POKeBALL.

ELECT: Often explodes with little or no provocation.

ECUTE: When disturbed, they quickly attack in swam.

EXTOR: Sometimes one of its heads will drop off.

CUBON: No one has even seen its real face.

MAROW: It throws the bone it holds like a boomberag.

WOBBU (Qwilfish): Uses the spikes on its body as defence.

SCIZO: Appears to have three heads when it attacks.

TSUBO: A rare POKeMON that hides in crack rock.

HERAC: The irregular horn on the top is for ATTK.

MISDR (Sneasel): Uses the sharp nails it hides for DEF.

HIMEG: Teddy Bear-like POKeMON liked by girls.

RINGU: The ground stomps as it moves along.

SLGMA: Leaves burnts on the ground as it moves by.

MAGCA: Lava flows from its body due to the heat.

URIMU: Found in dark caves with a low temperature.

INOMU: Resembles an entire boar head, moves slowly.

I hate to be this guy, but there’s the one Touhoumon fan game where each of the puppets could freely change between evolutions focused on attack, defense, technique, or support, and while not all of them made sense or had stats allocated sensibly, it was a really cool idea to focus on for something like megas, where you pick a focus (hyper-offense, bulky offense, stall, etc.) and build the mega toward that, and it can have one alternate option.  They won’t necessarily know which one is happening until it’s there, but team structure can provide clues.  I’d actually love that.

As Bahamut and Kumiko exit the back door, they are greeted by Ted, his face still unnervingly calm and peaceful. He raises a hand in greeting before returning to his meditation. I was going stir crazy and-" He flinches as Willow darts toward him, causing his dad and godfather to snort and laugh. "Oh my goodness! I-I thought you were gonna tackle me for a second." He takes a minute to collect himself, and she smiles at the little girl. "Hey, I kinda remember you. I saw you for a minute before I had to leave." He looks up to her parents, and gives them a soft, tired smile. "You guys went through a lot in that distortion, huh. Came back with a little bundle of energy." He gently ruffles Willow's hair with a shakey hand, and boops her nose. His godfather wheels himself forward a bit, and chuckles. "She's quite the energetic one, isn't she?" He politely offers Leon a hand. "Xavier. Charles Xavier. I'm an old friend of the family, and Donovan's godfather."

Leon offered a soft laugh of sorts at Flannery's comment. Watching the scene unfold, Willow giggles to herself before rushing back to Mewtwo. "Mewtw'!" She points at the book with one small chubby finger. "Read!" Ashe had to hold back some laughter before moving over to her friend and greeting him with a hand to his shoulder and a forehead touch as per custom of the Fae. Pulling back, she offers him his tea then. "I'm just glad you're still alive, Donovan. Wouldn't be right in this world without you." She points out before moving to take a seat nearby, keeping a watchful eye on her daughter.

Leon takes a moment to shake Charles' hand, giving a firm nod and a smile. "That she is. Runs in my family, unfortunately." He offers a laugh. "Donovan's godfather...?" He looks over at Donovan for a moment before looking back to Charles. "Might I ask what it is you do? Your accent is Galarian if i'm not mistaken...?"

When her father and brother g missing in a car accident, Daphne Blake seeks them ut-and finds a small, talking puppy t assist her.

DETECTIVE SPOILERS:

The first main difference is that the main role of the dad is going to be given to W.W. The Dad himself is going to be combined with Howard Clifford. He basically survived the accident, but begged Mewtwo to save his son and that he would be willing to cease everything in exchange. mewtw, sensing the man’s sincerity, agreed, transfering W.W. into Scrappy (who is an ordinary doggie up until now and teleports Daniel Blake to make good on his word.) Daniel Blake genuinely does try, but unfortunately, his assistant, Nora, is horrified and disgusted by his percieved “weakness” and kidnaps and posesses him-thus both of them going missing. Mewtwo goes over there and gets recaptured by Nora. 

Daphne goes and has been alienated from both her father and brother (her brother and her had a bit of a falling out over whether or not dear old dad could be trusted) she meets Scrappy and together the R-Gas attack happens. Shaggy, who is playing the role of the reporter, and Velma, who is playing Ryan, also meet the two. They investigate and go into the facility, where they think that Scrappy betrayed booth W.W. and Daniel. He runs away and Daphne is sad and a bit angry that he couldn’t at least stay and help fix things.  Then Daphne gets a call-it’s her father! He’s alive, but acting oddly. Daphne investigates and discovers that Nora is actually controlling her father with the gas, and Daphne realizes that her father was capable of change. Daphne ultimately decides to stay.
