Galarian Tourists
it's easy for Kaloian's to get lost in Lumiose City, much less two clueless Galarian kids who could get lost in a paper bag.
-Leon (freshly championed) was supposed to meet with Dianthe in Lumiose for some pr stuff for each league
-Raihan tagged along, having been selected by the current Gym Leader of Hammerlocke to be trained to be her successor after seeing his championship match with Leon
-Raihan see's this as a temporary things, as he knows he'll beat Leon next year
-It was also his idea to explore the city and slip away when Chairman Rose wasn't looking. He convinced Leon to tag along with the promise of buying him something from the famous pastry cafe
-Meyer's english is pretty limited at this point, despite his lessons with June.

Edible Organic Lemon Fruit Seeds, Exotic Tropical Citrus Bonsai Lemon Plant Seeds, NonGMO, Heirloom Seeds, BN 5 Grow Your Own Eureka Lemon Tree From Lemon Seeds When life gives you lemons, grow a tree! We have easy step-by-step instructions to start your own fragrant fruit-bearing tree indoors.
During the winter months, these abundant fruit trees can grow indoors and will produce beautiful blooms that will make the house fragrant.
Our naturally grown lemon seeds allow you to grow your own fruit trees, indoor or outdoor. Lemon trees are vigorous fruit producers and a single seed has the potential of yielding thousands of lemons. While these lemon trees produce fruit throughout the year, the majority of the crop is harvest-ready in the fall and winter.
Lemon trees can be grown on balconies, patios, and limited-space gardens. Enjoy the attractive trees and the scent of indoor winter blossoms if you choose to plant your citrus trees in an indoor container. Many people grow these lemon trees as ornamentals because the small trees are attractive even if they do not have fruit.
Packet contains Eureka lemons 5 seeds hand-packed with care. Packed in 3 x 4 inch sealable labeled bag
How to Grow a Lemon Tree from Seed Germinate Seeds in a Paper Towel --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Gather the seeds. ... 2. Peel off their skin (OPTIONAL) ... Peel off the white skin from the seeds (OPTIONAL) 3. Wrap the seeds in a moist paper towel & seal them in a bag 4. Place the bag in a warm, shaded spot 5. Carefully separate the seedlings from the paper towel. After 2-4 weeks or when the roots are at least 1.5-2 inches long, the seeds are ready to be planted in soil 6. Plant the lemon seeds about 1 inch deep. ...
Germinating Lemon Seeds in the Soil --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Gather the seeds Pick the biggest, healthiest-looking seeds out of a lemon and clean the pulp off, then rinse them with warm water and dry them off. 2. Peel off their skin (OPTIONAL) The seeds will germinate faster if the sprouts don’t have to break through the seed’s skin as well. Another way to speed up lemon seed germination is to soak the seeds in warm water overnight. 3. Prepare the pots and soil The ideal pot for one seed is 3-4 inches in diameter and 5-6 inches tall, while the perfect soil mix for planting lemon seeds has a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. You can use the items listed at the beginning of this article to make your own soil. 4. Plant the lemon seeds about 1 inch deep The pointy tip should be oriented downwards. Cover the seeds with soil and gently pat it down. The soil should be a bit loose to allow air and moisture circulation. 5. Seal the pot with cling wrap and poke a few small holes This will trap some much-needed moisture and warmth while also allowing the seeds and soil to breathe. 6. Remove the cling wrap when sprouts come out of the soil and place in a warm, sunny location
How To Grow A Lemon Tree From Seeds ---------------------------------- Here's how you grow your own lemon tree Firstly you'll need
An organic lemon since non-organic lemons often contain non-germinating seeds
Fertile potting soil, and natural fertilizers like compost
A seedling pot that is about 24 inches wide by 12 inches deep
A planting pot that is six inches wide and six inches deep (this comes in handy further down the track) A sunny, indoor growing location
Moisten the potting soil so that it is damp, but not soaked, all the way through.
Fill the smaller pot with soil, all the way up to an inch below the rim.
Cut open your lemon and remove a seed. Remove all of the pulp from its surface. A good way to do this is to simply suck on it until it is clean.
Do not delay to plant. The seed must still be moist when it is buried into the soil in the smaller pot. Plant the seed about half an inch deep in the middle of the pot.
Spray the soil that is directly above the seed gently with water from a spray bottle.
Cover the pot with clear plastic wrap, seal the edges with a good rubber band, and poke small holes in the top with a pencil.
Place the pot in a warm, sunny location.
Spray on more water occasionally, not allowing the soil to dry out. Do not cause water to puddle though. Just keep the soil somewhat moist.
After about two weeks, when the sprouting emerges, take the plastic covering off. If you need additional light for your lemon plant, you can use a grow light to supplement the sun's light.
Take care of the young plant by keeping the soil damp, by making sure it gets at least eight full hours of light per day, and by giving it moderate doses of organic fertilizer like compost.
Watch over your plant to ensure it is not attacked by bugs or diseases. Prune off brown, dead leaves when necessary.
When the plant outgrows its small pot, put it in the larger pot. You will go through much the same procedure when you re-plant it as when you first planted it. Younger plants need more water than older plants, but they all do need adequate water. Don't starve your poor plant after all that work of growing it! http://springsofeden.myshopify.com/products/edible-organic-lemon-fruit-seeds-exotic-tropical-citrus-bonsai-lemon-plant-seeds-nongmo-heirloom-seeds-bn-5

What do you think of lubricantshipping? (Sycamore x Meyer)
i was one of the earliest adopters of it on tumblr LOL, i still remember when it first happened and everyone started getting super into it. it's okay, i'm not as into it anymore bc i've kinda grown tired of how some people use it as the ~healthy~ option for augustine while demonizing lysandre (and i say this with all the contempt i hold for anime lysandre in my heart) plus i'm just more likely to multiship lysandre in general bc he's my fave 💔
limone papa can get it tho.

Blaziken Mask's Old Costume
Meyer changed his costume once Blaziken's mega-evolution was discovered/he acquired a keystrone/ megaevolution stone
started growing out his beard at June's suggestion to help with his "babyface"
it was also the reason he switched from coveralls to overalls
(June had the FULL support of Sycamore on these suggestions)
he used to be easily flustered (particularly by cute people flirting with him) but when he learned he could turn the tables by flirting back it was all over
this both pleased and irritated June bc on one hand it meant he thought she was cute but on the other hand she's not used to it so now she's the one being a blushing mess

Is Lemon a Fruit or a Vegetable?
Tumblr media
Is Lemon a Fruit or a Vegetable? Lemons (Citrus limon) are well-liked around the world for their sour and acidic flavour. They are one of the most acidic naturally occurring chemicals in the world and go well with both savoury and sweet dishes. They are also useful for cleaning. Lemons are a great addition to fruit salads because of their high vitamin C content, which also helps to make them healthier. Is lemon a fruit, though? Is it a vegetable, though?

Is Lemon a Fruit or a Vegetable?
A Lemon: What Is It?
To put it simply, a lemon can be compared to a bitter orange, except that it is yellow in colour. This description might sound strange, but there isn't a straightforward comparison to be made unless you do so with other citrus fruits, such key lime. The simplest definition of a lemon is that it is a naturally occurring, incredibly sour and bitter food that can be utilised in practically any recipe. Like other citrus fruits, lemons are cultivated from a small evergreen tree, and they have a thick outer skin called a peel. They contain a lot of edible seeds and are a good source of vitamin C, but they aren't particularly palatable or enjoyable to eat. Lemons can be cut into segments that resemble those of an orange. They are more frequently cut into slices, halved, and squeezed than they are typically peeled. Lemon zest, which is great for flavouring and garnishing savoury dishes, baked goods, and desserts like lemon meringue pie, can be extracted from the outer peel using a microplane.
What Qualifies as a Lemon?
This could be perplexing if you are not familiar with some of the terminology used in the food industry. There are two methods to define food: either by a culinary or a botanical definition. The most popular approach to determine what an item in the produce department may be classified as is botanically. In this instance, a lemon is a fruit since it possesses seeds that are encased in the flesh, according to botany. Oranges have seeds in each segment, much like how the core of an apple contains the seeds. A lemon is classified as a fruit because it contains seeds. Some objects are classified as berries rather than fruits in a botanical sense. Technically, the lemon fits this description. A berry is a type of fruit without a pit or stone inside that is frequently vividly colored, extremely sweet, or extremely sour. Since a lemon fits this description, it is considered to be a berry. Despite the fact that many continue to call it a berry and not a citrus fruit. Lemon is a hybrid fruit created by crossing a bitter orange with a citron fruit. Citrus fruit crossbreeding is a very common practise that has produced many of the fruits that are now available in supermarkets and markets all over the world. The mandarin orange, pomelo, papeda, and citron are examples of citrus fruits that grow naturally. These citrus fruits have all been combined to produce numerous other fruits, including lemon and lime. Citrus Tree A lemon tree, or Citrus limon, is a diminutive evergreen tree that is indigenous to Asia. The tree produces ellipsoidal lemons, a yellow fruit with cleaning and culinary applications. Lemon rind and pulp can both be used in baking and cooking. Lemon trees produce incredibly sweet, aromatic blossoms that grow well in hot, humid climates. Any domestic lemon tree is capable of and likely to reach heights of 10 to 20 feet and a width of 15 to 20 feet. While container trees may be even shorter than this, dwarf varieties of this tree should not exceed 10 feet in height. True lemons or Meyer lemons are the two main types of lemons you can grow. An added bonus of having fresh lemons grown in your own yard is that a lemon tree can make your yard look and smell much nicer. Related Articles :- Is a Carrot a Fruit or Vegetable? Additional Citrus Fruits
While lemons are among the most well-known citrus fruits, they are by no means the only ones. There are countless additional fruits, including: - Orange, bitter, and Seville - crimson orange - Citron - Clementine - Lime - Lime finger - grapefruit - Koh sam li - orange mandarin - tummy orange - Tangerine As you can see, despite being members of the same citrus family, citrus fruits vary greatly and are very expensive. While the majority of the fruits in this family have a bitter flavor, some have a sweet flavour with sour undertones, making them completely distinct in flavour and cooking applications.
What Distinguishes Botanical and Culinary Science?
As was previously mentioned, natural produce is classified as either botanical or culinary. It may be difficult to understand, but the simplest way to put it is that while the culinary definition concentrates on how an ingredient tastes and behaves when cooked, botanists group things together based on how they grow and take shape. Botanical Food is defined differently in botanical terms depending on how it is grown, how it forms, and how it appears. For instance, for botanists, the location of the seeds and their appearance are crucial. Even if the rest of the food is the same, any item of food without seeds or with pits in place of seeds will be classified differently solely based on this. Since this method is very scientific, it is frequently applied to produce descriptions that are more technical in nature. Culinary The culinary definition of fruit and vegetables places more emphasis on how the food behaves and tastes when it is prepared. Although some of the classification of certain items is influenced by a botanical definition, seed placement is less important in this context. Due to how lenient the identifying system is, it is much less strict and there are many outliers in each category. For instance, even though zucchini is classified as a berry in botany, it is categorically a vegetable in the culinary sense. This is due to the fact that it has a rich, mellow flavour that is neither sweet nor sour. There are many other elements that contribute to this classification, but the main one is that it lacks the flavour of a fruit or berry; as a result, it is prepared similarly to other vegetables and is also given the vegetable classification. A tomato is a good illustration of this discrepancy in identification because, according to botany, it is a fruit because the seeds are inside. However, a tomato's umami-rich flavour profile—the same food chemical found in meat—allows it to be used in dishes in which fruits and berries are not, earning it the label of vegetable. Citrus Juice One of the most adaptable ingredients available is lemon juice. It is frequently employed in cooking to flavour foods, as well as to make sauces, salad dressings, and other things. It is also widely employed in cleaning. Lemons contain about 5-6% citric acid, one of the most naturally acidic substances known, which gives them some interesting properties. The juice is flavorful and has cleaning properties due to its high acidity, which also explains why it is so adaptable. Using lemon juice for cleaning Lemon's high acidity, as already mentioned, makes it a fantastic cleaning agent. But in order to elaborate further, let me mention cleaning things like workspaces and clothes. Not your body, which is too acidic to function properly. In a matter of minutes, the steam from a bowl of water and lemon juice can cause a disorganised microwave to cower in fear. The juice can also get rid of any smells that are currently in your refrigerator. Saving money by using the juice on many items that you would typically clean with harmful products is a great idea. Additionally, you'll be more environmentally conscious! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZRUdJuq9i8 Using Lemon Juice in Cooking The most well-liked use for lemon is in cooking. The flavour is incredibly simple to combine with other tastes. One of the best combinations is to add a little lemon juice to cooked fish to give it a fruity flavor. Splashing some of the juice into specific broths and soups is another way to use it in cooking. This will harmonise all of the flavours inside. But it will require some study and training. While different flavours blend differently, acidic flavours like lemon help balance out salty flavours that might otherwise be overpowering. This can significantly improve the quality of your broth and soup. You'll feel better about your overall ability as a cook after doing this. Drizzling the juice over pancakes and other similar baked goods, like waffles, is another popular use for it. This will give them a fruity flavor. Making lemonade is the most common use for lemons. It is an insanely delicious and energising beverage with all the flavours of a lemon but less sourness.
Benefits of Lemon Juice for Health
The high concentration of vitamin C in lemons is the primary contributor to their many health advantages. Lemons and other citrus fruits are well known for aiding scurvy prevention in both pirates and World War 1 soldiers. This is so because citrus fruit has a long shelf life and scurvy is caused by a lack of vitamin C. In order to prevent your body from becoming deficient in vitamin C, a lot of lemons or limes could be stored and then consumed. A balanced diet also requires vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid. It aids in the prevention of conditions like breast cancer, kidney stones, and weak immune systems.
FAQs
A fruit or a vegetable, the lemon? Lemon is regarded as a fruit both botanically and gastronomically because the seeds grow inside the fruit and because the flavour is typically fruity and sour. A lemon is it a berry or a fruit? Although a lemon technically qualifies as a berry because it has tiny seeds inside, most people prefer to refer to it as a fruit to avoid confusion. Indoor citrus trees don’t pollinate themselves!* Feels a bit dirty, but looking forward to fresh lemon & lime with outsize dreams of weird hybrids.🍋🍊❓🍸 Im imagining a pink key meyer limon. What hybrid would you want to see? (And no, I don’t really know what I’m doing. Doesn’t bother me.) #citrusislife *My Australian friend @cocktailsmandurah asked me a while back why I would grow citrus indoors. She is a master of all sorts of syrups and more. But I don’t live in a climate where I can grow what she does and make all her amazing recipes unless I figure out how to do it inside. And since Im not hospitable enough to invite my bees inside, my dumpling brush has to do the flower insemination deed for them. So Kori, I want you to know that it is all your fault that I am now doing dirty deeds to flowers with a pastry brush. https://www.instagram.com/p/ClwhvOxvE3Q/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
