A me capita comunque molto spesso 😬 e tu ti riconosci in questa storiella? . . . . #mindfulnessstories #buddha #buddhaquotes #yogateacher #insegnantediyoga #sirsasana #headstand #beachyoga #yogaitalia #yoga #mindfulness #corsodimindfulnessonline #yogaonline https://www.instagram.com/p/CIqhczRFKrp/?igshid=1qb5dixexucfm

It’s interesting how six weeks ago I seriously injured my left knee. Two weeks ago I almost seriously injured both knees in fact I actually put more strain on them without realising it. Simply because I look at other people doing certain things on Instagram and I think oh I can do the same. But the reality is I can’t. I’m not going to say what these things are. However yesterday I managed to wrench my left shoulder from something I thought I knew how to do and it was in calisthenics. However today my personal trainer told me I shouldn’t be doing what I was doing. It’s all very well doing bodyweight exercises but along the way I can easily get injured just like I am finding out. Fortunately my injuries aren’t too serious even though with my shoulder injury it is still two years old and I haven’t fully recovered. So what does this tell me in future if I decide to do something that might be unusual or beyond what I normally do, to check with my personal trainer just to make sure it’s safe or to find out how I should be doing the move. After my recent belts were silly little injuries I just feel that I’ve got to be far more careful . Here I’m just talking about life and about being mindful. It’s interesting even though I know to go I said I’d injured myself that within six weeks of hurting my knees I’m still able to do a variation of the fall Lotus. #mindfulnessstory #meditation #mindfulness #livinginthemoment #nature #injuryprevention #flow #movementculture (at Camlet Moat) https://www.instagram.com/p/CESSluLj1Vw/?igshid=g2kp3ncpk4t1
