funny thing about the minecraft fandom is. Everything is Made Up. mojang never truly had Herobrine in the game, and we'll never know if that one 10+ year old "first sighting" of him was real or not. Steve and Alex do not canonically have lore, but we collectively have agreed upon personalities for them as a kind of unspoken acknowledgement. everyone agrees that herobrine is a sort of "alter ego" of sorts for Steve and that in some way, they are 100% connected. You never truly "learn" anything about the characterisation of characters- you subliminally accept an idea in your head from Minecraft animations you watched religiously from the ages of 7 to 12. You never LEARN anything and that's the funniest part.

Honestly both version of the manhunt, minecraft speedrunner vs 0 hunters and the minecraft speedrunner vs 3 hunters April fools edition were very entertaining!! I love dream editing so much for these type of videos and the music being played during comedic relief and suspense moments is perfect.

It was good to see and hear Sam be with dteam during this manhunt. I always adore their dynamic.

10/10 video!

if you're ever in need of a multi-chapter but not unbearably long story with awesome world building and super duper cool characters can I please recommend dolorem, I've been crazy about this for a few months now and I can't get enough pleasepleaseplease if you like when people expand on minecraft mechanics to use it for storytelling this is for you, chapter 10 and 13 will leave you DEAD !!!!!!

Just did! Gotta say, I completely missed the controversy myself, but I do like the math behind it. There's a lot of really good calculations hidden in the video.

Regarding the limit, if you have an event of probability 1/n and try it 10^19 times, you can approximate the probability of the event happening once by 1 - e^(-m/n). Thus, the odds that these speedruns would happen as 10 billion people do 6 speedruns per second for 100 years, is about 1 - e^(-1/1000). Not looking good for him!
