Tara and Leroy live simply despite the fact they can probably afford much more.

It's mostly for Tara's comfort , as she dislikes fancy places.

But she's settled down a notable amount! Very calm after their first child yudo was born. And she's stayed that way. And Leroy is very happy about it.

Tara is the breadwinner, still working under Miko while Leroy stays home with their children all day. Occasionally doing any odd work for a couple bucks or so.

Ren lives with them as well, what with him still being almost entirely dependant on his big sister. He's treated like one of the children by her. To Leroy's partial dismay.

Miyako Crost

Miyako and Henry had a gorgeous wedding , near her home town. All for her, despite her not being able to see it.

Their relationship hasn't changed much in marriage. Miya is still the crybaby she was and Henry has gotten just a tad softer after having children.

They've got a full house that Miyako spends almost every waking moment taking care of while Henry is out working. With four girls and one little boy her hands are full. But she wouldn't have it any other way.

Despite both being busy all the time with their responsibilities, they still make time for one another almost every night. Relaxing with one another after the children are in bed.

Miyako would drone on for hours about her husband if people let her.

Inoko Bosha

Inoko and Mellow's wedding was a wild one, following the tradition of her being absolutely rabid.

They move back to the afterglow savanna, in with inoko's adoptive father Sukuro. Who is quick to treat mellow like his own flesh and blood.

They reside in the palace, as sukuro's place as fareena's advisor and inoko's place as cheka's caretaker demand it.

Cheka is the reason inoko and mellow had their daughter. Desperately wanting a playmate he could always have!! And so inoko gave in.

Ino isn't overly affectionate in public, but she is extremely so in private and is always on mellow one way or another. On his lap, leaning on him , etc.

Mellow has gotten used to the savanna , and has even learned how to properly wrestle from Inoko , Sukuro and Fareena

Miyako lifted her head from her prayers , turning to her husband, smiling.

" Hello my love. How have you been today?"

He didn't answer immediately. Quite relieved by the fact she couldn't see him hesitate with opening and closing his mouth. Was now the right time?

"I've started to think, we should start that family you've wanted."

The priestess blinked slowly before letting out a giggle.

"You've had quite the head start on that , Henry."

"..Huh?"

"Reina came to visit today. We've confirmed its already-"

A small "oomph-!" From Miyako as her husband rushed forward to hug her from behind.

"I wanted it to be a surprise so.. surprise!"

Lyla stared at Marina from across the room fondly, smiling at her. She was about six or seven now, and every day she looked more like her father to him.

Absent-mindedly she placed her hand over her stomach.

As much as Marina was her child and she loved her... Lyla couldn't help but want to have her own child by blood with her husband. Who with the help of her, has been home with more energy more often. However, he was currently asleep on the couch across from her.

So she stayed quiet. Maybe.. she could quench the baby fever via looking at her brother's magicam. Grinning at how big Pearl was getting.

However her attention was quickly drawn to Isla's page, where she had just announced her own pregnancy. Figuring that may have been a sign , Lyla turned her phone off. Waiting for Elijah to wake up.

It was a relatively short wait, since Marina had made her way over to her father to shake him awake. Telling him she was hungry.

"Okay- okay.." He yawned as he stood, bones cracking as he stretched. Heading off to the kitchen. Lyla followed.

"Hey E?" She watched as he opened the fridge, pulling out the jelly to make Marina a peanut butter and jelly.

"Hm?"

" You know.. Riri is older now.. Do you think... You would be open to... having another baby?"

A long pause from Elijah, staring at her , knife in the peanut butter. The silence breaking when a tiny little voice perked up.

"If I'm gonna be a big sister, can it be a girl?"

And how could Elijah say no to both of his favorite people in the world?

TRIVIA

Miyako's unique magic is unknown.

She is the strongest pillar in the history of Hashikore as a dorm, but remains humble.

Very kindhearted, and goes out of her way to help others. Especially young children.

Miyako stands at an impressive 215 cm tall.

Born completely blind, but her ability to adapt has lead her to heights no one had thought possible for her.

She was the hashikore dorm leader in her second year.

An orphan, never met either parent and grew up in a lowly, poor orphanage. The orphanage has long since been destroyed, but Miyako has expressed her desire to rebuild and reinstate it. And to work as the matron.

Highly fond of Elijah Alba , namely for his young daughter. Would go out of her way to protect him.

A devout holy woman, often found deep in prayer in her manor.

Not many choose to live under her due to the steps it takes to even enter her manor, but to learn her mastery in earth magic , specifically stone and rock magic is a simple course.

Very laid back , allows people to break rules if they are not a common offender.

Reina Ash has trained against Miyako, and will be the first to proclaim the Boulder pillar's power.

Jirou thinks of him like he thinks of nahkt's own partner. As a sibling figure. The big brother Jirou never had.

He's able to talk to nahkt with ease ! There's no stress at all because he doesn't need to be as proper as he is with the pillars.

They don't get much one on one time though, as nene, inoko, perun, shiio, alla breve , reina and tsuimizu are dragging him around everywhere.

Inoko Bosha

" Whi the hell is that guy? Oh you mean Hahket Saunagina ?! "

Never actually learned his name. Just like most of her other schoolmates. And will randomly call him something similar to his real name.

Doesn't show courtesy like most hashikore students, but she likes him in her own way.

Aka she wrestles him to the ground and holds him in a submission pose until he either says mercy or a pillar comes to his rescue.

Inoko is Fond of him but it's clear she doesn't trust him, always moving away on instinct when he takes the first move. And hesitating even to speak to him. It's odd. And Jirou has said it Many times

Suzano and Nahkt actually see each other almost every time he visits.

Mostly because she is Always in the infirmary or hurt Somewhere.

She likes him!! He's so nice and acknowledges her efforts! He's so cool..! And like.. the best! Next to Alla Breve-Senpai of course.

Cain and Candice aren't really close. So he's surprised to learn Candi has an actual boyfriend rather than some weirdo fling.

Even though he and Miyako aren't canonically aware of their relationship, fraiser does in fact know henry so check and mate.

A fancy box was given to one of Miyakos dorm members with a small note. There was some sashimi, a spiritual artifact and some pearls. The note just said that he come by later for her birthday in person, he just was occupied with work this morning.

"To think he would go out of his way for me like this.."

She's immediately tearing up and crying. Just because it's so touching!

And when Mikaze reads the note for her , ( not without a crinkled nose and scowl ) she's even more touched!! To think he would put time aside for her despite his workload..

She's tempted to save the sashimi for later to share with him, but knows it would likely lose its freshness in that time period , so she does eat it rather quickly, savoring it as her brunch for that day.

And she's quick to swap her current beads for the pearls he had gifted her. It would be a nice touch for his visit, she figures, also placing the artifact in her shrine room. Offering a prayer before going about her day.

But the pillars definitely notice a pep in her step unlike the usual Miyako that walks solemnly.

Shiio was the first to spot the cake, covering his mouth and chuckling while Scarlett approaches with the large food item. Miyako confused by the sudden shouting and laughing around her. The pillars all beckoning for Scarlett to approach.

"Miyako-Sensei!" Scarlett beamed, setting the cake on the table her upperclassman was seated at. Only beaten by Reina's grin. "I made you this ! Jirou helped me pick decorations, even though Inoko said it'd be silly to have them on.. it's marble by the way!! I didn't know if you liked vanilla or ch-" Miyako held up a hand, silencing her.

"You have my Gratitude." She smiled kindly, hand moving to the source of her voice to pat her on the head. Uncaring of the fact it was likely embarrassing to be watched by the eight other pillars. "Thank you, Scarlett.." A pause as she took a sip from her tea. To prevent the tears pricking her eyes from falling.

She set her teacup down after a moment of silence, humming.

"Now, shall we eat?"

She's touched!

Literally and Figuratively. Due to Nene's mutism and Miyako's blindness , Jirou was also there, tapping the pillar on the shoulder.

She loves the gift!! She's sure they're absolutely beautiful, especially with Kamala identifying them for her and telling the flower language associated with them.

Keeps them alive as long as she possibly can. Thanking the siblings every day they remain alive and she runs into them.

"Ah..."

Miyako had been deep in her morning prayers when she picked up on a presence near her. Lifting her head and lowering her hands, she turned in the direction of the person.

"Scarlett, is that you?" The Boulder Pillar spoke softly. And she didn't miss the little sound her Tsuguko made. So it was her. Not that there were many it could be... if it were another Pillar they would not have let her finish her prayers. As it would have been an emergency.

"Crost-Senpai," Scarlett bowed at the waist with her hands tented. Straightening and standing in the same way as her mentor. "Apologies for any intrusion, but-" a pause, looking up at Miyako. She was intimidating. The pillar knew that. Standing in silence. Waiting for Scarlett to continue. "I would like to train with you this morning. If you would allow it." Ah... an opportunity for growth. Miyako softened slightly, almost smiling.

"Of course. Come." Miyako confirmed. Turning on her heel and walking briskly toward the double doors that would lead to her training grounds. Listening for her tsuguko in the case she'd need aid. After all. The manor was precarious, known for hidden steps and low hanging items. To hone residents in being aware of their surroundings. Miyako had memorized it in her very first year of joining the dorm. However, it seemed the wolf still occasionally stumbled.

Once the both of them had managed to make it to opposite ends of the training grounds, Miyako removed her haori, folding it and setting it on the ground. Before moving into a defensive stance.

"Come. We will begin with your stamina and techniques. Allow me to assess you."

Miyako Crost is the most powerful pillar in the history of Hashikore. And she knows this. She knows she is leagues above even Reina Ash. Kamala Posa. Alla Breve-Violet.

But.

This does not stop her ever weeping heart , from breaking as she fights against those that abuse the line of evil and good. Those that blur it. Those that forego the good entirely. No. She is never done crying. And even despite her blindness, she can see the sorrow in Coco's heart. The very sadness that undoubtedly lead her down the path she had chosen when she first became a Moon's key beside the new age demon king.

Flail and axe in hand, Miyako would fight with her comrades against this evil. To free the sorrowful soul within.

Even if it costs her her life.

Tara approaches Leroy with the note he had left in her locker , asking her to accompany him to a cute little Café a friend worked at.

Of course it isn't for her.. why would it be? She was hideous and awful to get along with. Leroy only stuck around her for a sense of security. Right?

When Leroy takes the note and reads it to make sure it was the one he had given her, he's got a little grin on his face. Which falls when he sees her serious expression. Her seriousness was... seriously scary.

" Ah.. " He trails off , struggling to find the words that wouldn't get him acquainted with 50 new shades of black and blue. On his face.

With pursed lips he confesses that the note was in fact for Her. And that he'd like her to come with him.

And Tara looks at him like he's absolutely fucking deranged. Eyes popping our of her skull before erupting into an ugly fit of laughter. Throwing her head back and everything. Thinking it's all some set up.

" That's a good one- "

And then she's turning away , slouching and walking off.

Only then does Leroy notice that Ren was on her back the entire time, glaring at him like he had just spit in his face.

He was so dead.

Her silence is palpable for a moment or two. Looking in Henry's direction. Clearly stunned by his question.

Accompany him..? To a very fancy gathering his father was hosting? She's honored...!

She asks him if he should be bringing her of all people. Not that she doesn't want to go! Just....

Shouldn't he bring a woman of status? The last thing Miyako wanted was for Henry to be in any sort of trouble with his father.

And when he assures her she's in fact the one woman he WANTS to bring the waterworks come.

And she's crying like a little baby , clinging to Henry and letting him ( futilely ) wipe away her falling tears until she calms down. Resting against Henry.

It's only then Miyako realizes.

She has absolutely nothing proper to wear.

Henry promptly gets the tissues while he has the ability to stand.
