Today, after 8 years, TSR removed me from their Featured Artists without any prior notice or explanation as to why. As justified as their decision must have been, being kicked with a standardized e-mail tells a lot about how much they appreciated me as an artist. I'm looking back at good and bad times.

Skins Remaster Project already on my page!

Five of my old but gold skins were reworked and recolored from scratch. I smoothed the textures, removed artefacts and completely reworked overlay versions to fit base game more. Also non-HQ versions for overlays was added.

You can have old and new files in the game at the same time, but you need to choose one version for overlays, HQ or non-HQ.

I've been wondering, why does ModCo require registration to download CC there? It says "no strings attached" so why do we need to sign up?

I have 3 issues with websites that do this: 1. It's really cumbersome to have to sign in every time you want to download something or do some CC shopping. 2. Maybe you sign up for one or two of these sites. In addition to whatever other accounts you need to use (like social media, e-mail, and what not) things like this just add on to all of the logins and it becomes annoying. I don't want 8,000 accounts to look after. 2. Forcing sign-up to download means forcing people to hand over their info.

So what is the draw for these websites to force sign-up? What is the benefit in requiring people make an account?

Currently I do not reblog any CC that is hosted there, because I don't advertise for sites that force people to sign up in order to download CC. And it's a shame because some of it is very nice, and/or is made by people I follow on here and I want to boost their posts.
