I can see Verstappen leaving F1 and doing other things before I see him joining another team.
He could take a year off, and come back with a new team in 2026. Every team in F1 wants him, so he has that choice.

The Indiana Klan didn’t allow Black drivers at the Indy500, but Hoosier Charlie Wiggins had an unquenchable need for speed.
On August 7, 1926, he cruised to victory in the Gold and Glory Sweepstakes championship, a segregated auto race for African American drivers.
Revving his engine in front of a thrilled crowd of 12,000 gathered at the Indiana State Fair Grounds, Wiggins took the lead in the 72nd lap.
The crowd was amazed but few knew the full scope of Wiggins’ wild style genius. The ‘Negro Speed King’ was a master mechanic and self-taught fuel scientist. He could diagnose ailing engines just by listening to them, and his touch was magic.
His "Wiggins Special” was powered by his own premium blend of oil and airplane fuel.
The Gold & Glory race itself was established by the Colored Speedway Association, a racially integrated automotive brain trust of five: African-American business leaders: Harry Dunnigton, William Rucker, George Lemon, Earnest Jay Buffet, Alvin D. Smith; and two white businessmen, Harry A. Earl and Oscar E. Schilling. The seven had come together in 1924 to sanction a national racing series for black drivers.
Wiggins was to go on to claim a trilogy of Gold & Glory wins, in 1931, 1932, and 1933.
Recounts race historian Tod Gould, Indycar driver Harry MacQuinn had asked Wiggins to loan him a car for a race in Louisville, Kentucky in 1928.
"Charlie agreed, on the condition he drive the tuning runs at the speedway himself," Gould says. "When the white spectators in Louisville saw a black man driving, they mobbed the pits. Arrested for his own protection, Wiggins was charged with speeding.”
Indycar pilot Bill Cummings knew what Wiggins could do. In 1934, he hired him to tune his racing car for the 500.
By day, Wiggins swept floors and posed as a humble janitor.
At night, he overhauled Cummings’ car and made it purr like a kitten. He won and set a track record.
“During the 1936 Gold and Glory Sweepstakes, Wiggins was involved in a 13-car crash that nearly took his life. He lost his right leg and vision in one eye, ending his racing career.
After designing and building his own wooden leg, Wiggins remained a mechanic and advocate for African American racing. He would also train other black mechanics for the rest of his life. Charlie Wiggins died in March 1979, at 82.”

James “Jimmie” Guthrie was born on May 23rd in 1897 Hawick, he grew up to be one of Scotland’s best motorcycle riders.
On leaving school Jimmie became an apprentice engineer with a local firm. He joined the Border Battalion of the 4th King’s Own Scottish Borderers and on his 18th birthday headed off to the horrors of Gallipoli, Guthrie did not return to Hawick until the war ended, a gruelling tour of duty that took in Turkey, Egypt, Palestine and the Western Front in France. During his time on the Western Front, Guthrie was a motorcycle dispatch rider.
On returning to Hawick Jimmie and his brother Archie joined the local Hawick Motor-Cycle Club. After participating in many local hill-climb and grass-track races, the Hawick MCC nominated Guthrie to race at the Isle of Man TT races for the 1923 season. Although Guthrie did not return to the Isle of Man TT Races until 1927, he competed at the Scottish Speed Championships at St Andrews and won the 1926 and 1927 championships.
He went on to be one of the all time greats, with 19 motorcycle Grand Prix wins, 3 victories in the North West 200 and 6 wins at the Isle of Man TT races.
He is pretty well known in bike circles and in his native Hawick, where there is a statue commemorating him, another memorial (as seen in the last pic) sits on a famous S bend corner of the Isle of Man TT race route, it reads..
Erected to the memory of Jimmy Guthrie, of Hawick, a brilliant motor cycle rider, famous on the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy Course for his wonderful riding and great sportsmanship. He won the race six times, beat many world’s records and was first in numerous foreign races. He died while upholding the honour of his country in the German Grand Prix, August, 1937.
There is a lot more about Jimmie Guthrie on the link below, for all you Bike lovers. https://www.bbc.co.uk/.../asport.../article/0024/print.shtml

Formula One drivers will need prior written permission from the sport’s governing body to make “political statements” from next season following an update of the International Sporting Code. The FIA added a new clause regarding “the general making and display of political, religious and personal statements or comments notably in violation of the general principle of neutrality promoted by the FIA under its statutes”. Fuck you, FIA. You don't get to own people. You don't get to slap a muzzle on them just because they take part in your sport. People with fame who are looked up to by millions damn well should be using their positions to make statements, to make changes. Fuck you for deciding that people don't get to say what they feel just because your sponsors might not like it. Censorship of good people has no part in a free world.

If Lance Stroll manages to win a race, let alone become a World Champion. Lawrence Stroll will have eternal ratings among billionaires.
Funding my son's career if I was a billionaire would be something I'd also do. I wouldn't care what some idiots on the internet thinks about that either.

Do you know what a “wall of death” is? It’s a barrel-shaped motordrome inside which a motorcyclist can drive on the vertical wall.
Petrol head Guy Martin’s wall of death, custom built in a hangar, increased the usual size from a 10 meter diameter to 40 meters.
To prepare for his record-breaking attempt, Guy underwent the same G force training that fighter pilots go through.
He does break the world record - several times - to reach a speed of 78 miles which corresponds to a centrifugal force of 6.7 G.
As the blood drains from your brain and your retinas, your vision narrows (“tunnel vision“) until you go entirely blind.
Racing driver David Coulthard, present in the hangar, points out that F1 pilots only submit themselves to such forces for fractions of seconds.
Five months before the record, Guy received a metal harness around the upper half of his spine after a nasty accident during a motorcycle race. That’s Guy Martin for you…
