Ааааа, какие же там интриги 😱 Я, конечно же, в первую очередь про отношения между Сулейманом и Хюррем. И реакция Махидевран. Все эти сплетни, козни. Уффф. Мне кажется, вряд ли в гареме девушка могла прожить спокойно.

И отдельно хочется выделить костюмы и декорации. Это прям нечто! Роскошные наряды, шелк, атлас, драгоценные камни, золото. Очень красиво. Как в сказке. Хочу как-нибудь стоп-кадр порисовать оттуда.

So mad about HotD fucking up political intrigue that I had to rewatch Muhtesem Yuzyil Kosem again. And I gotta say, watching the female lead plot, scheme and murder her way through 50 years in power makes me feel some sort of way.

Pwecious uwu babies Alicent and Rhae rhae could never. Kosem, Safiye, Halime, Dilruba, Turhan would chew up the HotD women and spit out only bones.

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle has always been a motto of Magnificent Century. Once you start looking, you see reused costumes everywhere but I never noticed how much they used this one purple dress. With Nazenin and Nurbanu they only gave us two episodes between Nazenin and then Nurbanu wearing it. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is also in Kösem but I just haven’t spotted it yet.
