he goes by Med and he works a boring office job where he probably does something like writing code for corporate websites… he’s a HUGE nerd and LOVES high fantasy, though! he lives through dungeons and draiks and larping and rpgs, and he wants to be a hero…if it were possible in this day and age. he makes really bad tragic ocs and I’m proud of him

Sketchbook Scribbles Part 4

Today’s doodles are all based on a game I used to play religiously in elementry/middle school: neopets. Prepare for a blast to the past.

Ah, JB. My crowning achievement on Neopets. A faerie lutari with a 2 letter name. He’s insanely valuable, yet at the same time absolutely worthless. Can you believe I adopted him from the pound as a purple quiggle? My college roommate dragged me back into neopets back in 2012, and i was just in time to experience the money printer that was the habitarium. Like any sane user during this glorious time, once you learned this minigame basically generated neopoints at all hours of the day, you created a little slave factory farm of petpetpets endlessly mining goods and laying eggs, and you abused the shit out of it. Don’t you lie. I know you did it. We all did it. It’s the only reason any of my childhood dreams became actualized. Drawn April 10th and July 12, 2017 respectively

Bugsome, my maraquan draik! I have always loved the colorscheme of orange, purple and white. I adopted bugsome through the lostandpound because I thought his name was hilarious. It wasn’t until later I discovered he shares my birthday QwQ. I love him so much~ Drawn July 12, 2017

Joyya my plushie bori. I found joyya through the lost and pound as well and instantly fell in love with his name. I one day wish to sew an actual plush based on him because boris are my are my absolute favorite pet the site has ever created. Drawn July 19, 2017

Onmiacara, my mutant acara! Onmi was actually a gift from my college roommate, and the reason I got dragged back into neopets in the early 2010s. Mutant acaras are so adorably badass. I love their horns and ears and smokey feet~ All three drawings come from one page drawn on Febraury 5, 2018
