Far Away Soul, White Cold Star 💫

Chapter: 3 pt. 2 “Grim Awakening and Past Haunting..”

The ever so slowing down of the sandstorm below made the scenic view from the cliff face more comfortable, although this uncovered hill was a safe haven for them from the elements..it won't be the case for much longer. Having traveled lifetimes across many seas and walks of life came someone from one's history, ripped asunder and seeking only death in the name of Heaven they continue their pursuit until today. Manipulation is only as sweet as the fool is to fall to its influences..

Now Face Me..

The two boys would be sharing small playful ruses at one another as they got accustomed to the heights, the view from above showing the snow-like endless fields of the desert beyond them, the Boy staring out and reminiscing on what this could have truly become. Kÿr used his strange magic-like abilities to conjure up a few metallic darts before tossing them as hard as possible to a small painted stone they made for game, the feline-like creature handing his friend a few darts to partake as well almost as if competing for who's a better shot, and with a small smirk after getting nudged the Boy would turn around and grab a hold of the darts and join in on the fun. However, from below a strange figure would break through the remains of the sandstorm, which now died down to a small breeze, their steps heavy and appear that they are weakened as they lumbered left to right up the hill towards the campsite. Hood covering their face and cloak covering their large body except for the glowing yellow eyes peering from the darkness..who ..

The Boy tossed his dart making it a direct hit towards the center, he exclaimed out in happiness as he won and Kÿr groaning in annoyance threw the remaining darts off the cliff, "Man even when I used ranged weapons I somehow failed..crabbaskets..", he mumbled to himself. Only that now something felt a bit off as he heard a heavy amount of stone crumble at the base of the camp, Kÿr getting curious would hop off the small stone he was sitting on to approach the cause, the Boy turning to see him move towards the upcoming sound confused as he would imagine no one else would be able to find them here. Kÿr running towards the source would soon immediately stop, he silenced his breath in a second before running back to the Boy and dragging his hand forcibly towards a small cut in the ground, the Boy getting yanked as he was puzzled as to what was going on, "Cmon Man! We need to hide someone's pulling up on us..Quickkk!." The Boy stopped halfway when something broke over the hills horizon, the cloaked individual would slowly arise heading straight at them, body hidden and face disgused they would plant their heavy feet on the platform and stare down the two. Kÿr would throw himself trying to hide, but before he could do anything a strange tentacle-like growth ruptured through the ground and yanked him back, the growths coiling around his stumpy legs up to his chest. He yanked his legs up tryna to get away only to say "S-shit! What the hell is this stuff.. Nahhh.. The heck?!". Turning around only to see the giant lumbering figure cast its shadow over him, his ears folding back getting defensive. The Boy yelled out like a savage only to see that this being was several feet taller than even he was at 8ft, The Figure exhaled slowly with a raspy groan at the end before a rat-like hairless tail curled near its feet and out of nowhere two strange tentacle-like growths erupted from the ground and coiled around the Boys ankles.

The Figure stretched its arm out revealing a decayed muscle fiber revealed arm fused with those same tentacle growths, they would speak in a deep almost groan tone of voice "You.. olden one- I.. h- poor Poor.. Hijïn..~" (Hì-Jin), it said pointing its finger at the Boy who was standing there confused, its hand was comprised of vine wrapped exposed flesh and muscle arms with small pockets of rotten fur visible due to the campfire light. "H-hey U-Uh.. buddy what does he mean by Hijann?! Eheeeehhh..?!" Kÿr said turning to the boy panicking as the coiling tentacles wrapped further and further around Kÿr's body. The Boy saw Kÿr and began to panic as he turned to face the figure, yelling at them wanting Kÿr to be set free only to stop as the Figure slowly removed its hood. The Boy watched with eyes wide open as the creature revealed itself saying "A..A-baa?!"

His eyes watering in fear but also happiness, which almost immediately turned into disgust and anger, The Figure looked exactly like surrogate father Aba, but this was different, it lacked eyes, had strange black burns around its face, all of its muscles were basically exposed and rotting, along with many vines and plant fibers coiling and growing/ripping through its body. Its wolf skull-like head was a dark grey and beige color, but a smirk spread across its empty face as it spoke: "Nghnn..hhhahhhh.. I am not your FaLse..F-father.. b-But I know you..H-HiJìn.. and I've come here to- get what WE..wanted.." it chuckled as small chunks of flesh and leaf bits fell out of his mouth faltering in his stance, a dark black and red spotted vine came out of his cheek socket and shoved itself into his right eye socket causing it to jolt in pain. This thing seemed barely even alive, like these growths which were attacking the Boy and Kÿr were killing it as well, their strong black spotted tentacle-like growths ripping that very creatures body apart from the inside out.

He would grit his teeth and started growling under his breath until he unleashed an incredibly loud roar which shook and cracked the ground beneath them, but in an instant, the Figures arm mutated itself and grew gigantic many times over before punching the Boy's whole body almost launching him off the cliff face causing him to fall to his knees. The Figures arm returning to normal size as large gushes of blood flooded their surroundings, chuckled while large amounts of blood gushed out of its mouth onto his chest and cloak it would say out, "Y- you h..Have..No q..Idea how powerful that..WEa..K body..Truly Is..I bet you don't even know..Y- gown..Culture!.". Kÿr saw his friend's body get pummeled by the attack and fall onto their knees, he would start trying to forcibly get out of the imprisonment by any means necessary, trying to slice his way out with his bladed tail only for it to be caught as well by another tentacle growth.

The Boy's eyes were blurred but he wasn't out just yet, slowly getting up and clenching his chest that was still recovering from his last injuries he faced the Figure, the Figure held its hands out and began to have a hearty laugh as squirts of its own blood shot out in different directions glaring back the boy. The Figure put its hands together and with a slight lean of the head to the right made the tentacles wrap around Kÿr's whole body and squish him, Kÿr yelling out in pain, muffled by the tentacles shutting his mouth the Boy clenched his fists and took a step forward. The Figure turned to face the Boy who was about to pounce and chose to say "Oh.. Hijïn.. how much yo-YOur father Loathed you.." he said chuckling under his breath before signing in the same way the Boy did with 4 hands instead of two, "Traveled far and wide for this moment, eradication of this bloodline, this false body my prison to your soul..I shall consume you boy", when The Boy understood it he just grew even more enraged. The Boy ran towards the Figure and with a full force swing it took the Boys punch to the cheek without even budging. The Figure chuckled with its mouth closed only for its mouth to open unnaturally wide to the point the muscle fibers under the bone of the jaw began to tear revealing a large sentient flower within.

The flower had dozens of eyes, small razor sharp teeth filled mouths, and its dark and red spotted tentacles enveloped this creature's brain, the flower began to screech out as the mouth closed and the Figure grabbing the Boy by the neck overpowering him "Hijìn Hijìn Hijìn.. just accept your never gonna have this level of P- power.... Hmn.. fool was never trained.. now perish!!". The figure threw the so-called Boy dubbed 'Hijìn' off the cliff plummeting to the desert floor, Kÿr watching this the whole time would begin to yelling out in frustration and anger, energy surging and small metallic pieces swirling around him the black sealed marks on his face would rip open revealing glowing white and yellow eyes.

Laughing at his victory the Figure covered himself again only to notice the shine in the corner of his eye, Kÿr's eyes glowed in many shades of hollow white and yellow, but from such an action his power seemed to explode from the pain. Blood coming from his eyes the yellow and white aura surrounded him, the tentacles were shredded to pieces and his hands extended out towards the Figure who watched flabbergasted from such a strange but simple action showing such impact saying, "Wha- t form of blasphemo..Blessing o..f the Father?!-" before he was reigned in with hundreds of bullets all over. Kÿr stands there panting as dozens of guns, unique firearms, and blasters would appear around and behind him which shot the Figure down until he fell down on one knee holding his bleeding eyes whimpering and groaning from the pain. "D-D.. Damn It and Fuck You! Eat Leaaad!!". He said wiping the blood off his face only to turn to the cliff face and run towards it looking down only to see the drop below.

The Figure's body laid there for a few seconds until tentacles writhed all around its body making him unnaturally rise to his feet, all the heat-charged bullets fell out of his body like beads seemingly healing instantly. He turned around as his head spun 360 degrees before stopping on the worried feline unaware the monster is still alive, his arm shot out like a piercing blade extending to kill the feline only for Kÿr to jump up and spin on a dime kicking the arm down hard cracking the cliff face making it fall apart. Down below Hijìn would grab his scimitars and forcibly plunge them into the mountain wall causing his blades to fall apart, but he managed to slow down and hold on. Above hearing gunshots, he worries thinking something bad happened starting to climb back up, his feet pressing down on the sandstone making it crumble as he pushed on ahead to make things right. Kÿr rolled into a little ball before hopping rock to rock until he saw Hijïn, he laughed aloud, and in happiness to see him all well he clung to his back holding on tightly. "B-bddBuddy! You're Okay?! I thought you fell and Bit It!?" Kÿr said slightly cuddling against Hijïn's back before looking up and seeing the cliff face fall down towards them. "Shit!!!" Kÿr yelled, but Hijïn punched the wall and began to skid alongside the cliff wall as pieces fell to the ground by them making the dust fly everywhere. Reaching the ground Hijïn snagged Kÿr from behind and hugged him curling himself into a ball jumping off the cliff face rolling off into the distance down a massive sand dune.

After some waiting and the sand passing down on top of them, Hijïn arose from the sand, shaking it off as much as he could letting Kÿr go who'd just hug the big idiot shaking a bit from the pain he experienced from the tentacles and the tearing of his eyes prior. Hijïn hugged back only to feel the air change around him- a strange 6th sense he moved his head to the right and dodged a blade followed again by a few more maneuvers he avoided taking lethal damage. The Figure fell down and landed with an explosion of energy and smoke surrounding it until the smoke cleared and what was remaining was horrific: its body was four times the original size, its four arms supersized as if a steroid-built gorilla monster was staring them down instead of a thing that looked like Aba before, and eyes and blood gushed out of every corner of their body as its remaining hair got stuck to its revealed muscles like glue. The two fell back and with a look of frustration on their faces they faced this hulking beast, Hijìn roared back at the monster which pulsed with tentacles, even more flowers coming out of its organs, veins, as well as straight flower petals forming around its wolf skull shaped head. Kÿr tapped Hijïn and he looked down confused only to see Kÿr with a smile holding his fist up to fist bump, He smiled and returned the fist back tapping them together. "If fate wants me tonight I'll be glad to know I went with you!-" Kÿr said with a look of confidence and Hijïn returned it before the two would bolt towards the mutant freak without hesitation.

The Figure began to chuckle as blood poured out of its mouth and body like a waterfall but he wasn't slow.. no he was incredibly fast, already on top of the two trying to claw at them with a giant fist and tentacles shooting out saying, "N-NO! Matter! Tonight th..Dies! with or Without yo- blessing Foul PEst!!!". Hijïn slid, planted his feet, then punched the hand away before swinging his feet striking the beast's face making it tumble to the side for the tentacles to shoot out instantly being blown off by Kÿr's small explosive rounds, the small feline-like creature snarling at the suggestion of their unique powers being some strange thing being called a Blessing. Seeing the beast simply begin running at incredible speeds after getting up made Hijïn wanna go even further, it went to where Hijïn would avoid as much damage as possible to try and knock the other back. Kÿr was sending in heavy rounds using a strange long barrel having rifle avoiding a large swipe from the Beast which destroyed the mountain behind them, landing on his side only to shoot even more high caliber explosive rounds at the monster. The monster having whole chunks blown off and screeching it would turn and backhand Hijïn rag-dolling him into the distance. "Kiddd!!!" Yelled Kÿr trying to run to his friend only for the beast to lunge at the feline, Kÿr being a more effective dodger than his partner had to try and escape this thing it just didn't stop regenerating saying "Thats right ugly! Keep those ugly little pearls on me before I turn you into compost!".

Hijïn arose from the sand and rubble not in a state of weakness but with a sense of bleakness and hatred looming over him, his arms twitching he planted his feet and before he could hold himself back, he would roar out louder than ever before. His face phasing out multiple times before he kicked off causing sand to fly everywhere charging at the Beast. The Beast noticed this, and it fused its arms together freaked out over his sudden change throwing out a gigantic punch at Hijin. He would charge at full speed and then slide on his knees under the fist, punching the ground beneath him sending his feet in the air to kick the Beasts jaw almost clean off. The Beast was launched up a few dozen feet in position for Kÿr to rain hellfire, with some blood in his eyes, and with a simple wipe with his thumb, he shot a strange but large and powerful floor-mounted blaster at the Beast causing a huge explosion as small metallic particles surrounded him upon use.

The Beast Fell to the ground torn to pieces and with a final ditch attempt, it shot a poison dart at Hijïn, in disgust he caught it with two fingers and threw it back at the Beast stabbing its chest deeply. It groaned out in pain thinking it was destined to win this fight as the flowers began to scream out writhing in agony as it said, "F-Fate...Yo..Ou..Have Decieved..Me!? Was this its truthful promise?! Was I plead for Death..Wh..y..this..insolent-" getting cut off only for Hijïn to run at full speed sending a full-power kick at the Beast sending it flying back over the horizon causing a massive shockwave which pulverized the ground around them. Kÿr would click his tongue analyzing the distance before shooting the blaster at maximum power, the bullet following behind until it blew up making the beast fly faster as only a mass of flesh and bones burnt to a crisp. Hijïn panted as he collapsed to his knees shocked they even managed that- his aura fading away and returning back to normal.

Running back to his friend Kÿr would have a big smile on his face jumping all around like a gleeful little child saying "We Did It! We actually beat a Monster together! We're so cool you were doing ur screaming and I was blasting Boom Boom Boom!" He said making those sound effects before continuing "And then you went all wild dog on his ass and we sent him off where he belongs ahaha! We're so badass~ We work pretty good together!" He said prancing around in victory, Hijïn exhaling allot trying to catch his breath after such a fight.. he finally won.. we finally won!. A loud boom was heard and it was dismissed at first until they heard the echoes of hundreds if not millions of screams deafening out the world. The two turned to face the direction only for a massive earthquake to rock the ground beneath them, the sky changed into various colors until it settled a dark blood red and turquoise. The ground vibrated as hands came out of the sand and in a panic the two ran towards the mountain remains. Sitting up on the rubble they watched the sand come alive, the screams raged on until the unimaginable happened.

Far off in the distance, the beast flew so fast and with such force that it struck the side of the Cauldron.. its stairs crumbled as the whole cauldron hundreds of miles wide would collapse on its side breaking apart. The souls were released in all directions and the force of the cauldrons fall made the earth beneath it tremble, back at the boys the two watched in awe and horror seeing the spectacle they created. Kÿr saw the change and knew what was going on as the screams echoed in his ears.. "Oh.. all.. mighty Maker... what have we done..-"
